So I went in there a couple weeks ago. I was really confused. There are barely any items in the store. I can’t figure out how they manage to pay that rented retail space with barely any merchandise. They didn’t have any jewelry. Maybe 2 necklaces and four bracelets. I don’t get it. The girl working there asked me if I was looking for something… she was nice. My response was«a variety» and I walked out What on earth is up with Naperville lately? Why can’t a nice boutique actually have inventory? The items in this store were pretty and very well picked out, so that is why I gave them three stars But the issue was there were too few options. I wanted to love this store. Its the closest we have to a city boutique but it was not sufficient. I would say keep doing what you are doing but times it by 10. More options, more jewelry. A jewelry section would be nice.

I was appalled by the service I got when I walked into this shop. I was looking for my college graduation dress and I was barely acknowledged. I found a few dresses that I really loved but since the sales associate didn’t seem to care about my business I took note of the designer, went to lunch with a friend and ordered the exact same dress from a trusted and customer friendly website. It was my first and last visit to Joes.

I stopped in today, just browsing, and killing some time. Like another reviewer said, the store is very sparce, there aren’t a lot of different sizes or colors per garment, but they are unique, well made, good quality pieces. They carry higher end brands, and I’d say the price point is anywhere from $ 150 – 200. It’s on the pricier side. They do have good accessories and clutches/purses to compliment the clothes, and you could easily go in and walk out with a whole outfit.

This place is a gem, amazing, and not a common type of clothing place to find in the suburbs. Some of the designers are LA based, and some pieces are from Chicago– this store is every fashionista’s dream– yes there isn’t tons in the store, but right now I’d say it is quality over quantity. They have these amazing sequin shorts that I adore, and the most chic dresses. All the pieces in this store are unique, and fashion forward. Not to mention the accessories are affordable and unique pieces. This place is really a fashion gem.

Joe, as in Clothing. Not cup ‘o java-Joe. Uh oh, this may be a trouble spot. I have been eyeing Joe since the prep was going into the space. When the doors finally opened and you could see through the front doors, I didn’t see much and was a tad skeptical. And so I hesitated in stopping in. Hesitation can be a good or bad thing. Good that you’re not wasting any money, bad-that you could be missing out on garments that stand out from other stores. My first impression upon walking inside is that the store is lacking merchandise. It’s very bare. As in, Beyonce’s nylons for ‘Single Ladies’ bare. The walls are lined with a few pieces but there are only a couple of pieces. I would say that the average garment count is around maybe 40 different pieces. That is including color changes. There were blouses and flowy tops as well as a nice armour jacket but what sold me about this store was it’s accessories. This is where you’ll find gold. There’s an assortment of rings, earrings and necklaces that are fun, flirty and flashy. Prices vary, but are still well within range. A ring starts at about $ 38, necklaces the same and go up to about $ 60 for as much as I could see. The scarves are from local Chicago merchants, and I’m probably going to go back and snag one before they go. Hand knitted, they’re a steal. Clutches galore, purses compliment the racks along the walls. All in all, I think this store has serious potential for growth. But please if you’re going to be an affordable store with garments under $ 150, have a wider variety and fill up your racks.
