My Napa Valley Driver Alex Elma, I don’t even know where to start! I would highly, highly, highly, recommend him. He knows the Napa Valley like the back of his hand, he is extremely professional and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.
If you are making a trip to Napa, call and speak with Dominique at the Napa Marriott Resort and Spa, she is the one that recommended Alex, Dominique is also the BEST!

I couldn’t ask for a better first trip to napa. My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon in Napa and we were lucky enough to get booked with Will. He was wonderful and the perfect guide for our first trip in Napa. He called me a month in advance to help plan an itinerary. Will made all my reservations for tours and tastings, and gave us dinner recommendations for each night. His knowledge of the area was outstanding. We cannot wait until our next trip to Napa and we are going to give Will a call when we do.

The My Napa Valley Team kept in touch before the pick up day often, to confirm a pick up time and an itinerary request and responded to any questions within an hour.
Our driver, Laura, was a few minutes early and very courteous, prepared and friendly. She knew the valley well and had us at all 4 destinations with ease. She kept us on time for all appointments and as you know time can fly when tasting wine. We ran late to 2 appointments and she took the time to call the 2 wineries letting them know that we would be a little late. She met us as we left every winery and brought all of our ample wine purchases to the car and even had snacks laid out for us after our second stop. Yum!
After our wine tasting day, she sent a thank you text and as a really nice bonus sent along several pictures of all of our stops and not just the group with purple teeth but the vineyards and buildings; several could be framed.
There will always be the limo crowd but for those of you that like a driver without the hassle and expense and keeping extra $ for more wine, this is the way to go. Thanks, Laura and Bev!

I randomly found this rental car driving service online & I can’t tell you how wonderful it was! Our driver Laura went above & beyond! From taking pictures of the different wineries we visited & emailing them to us; to providing us with lunch menu options & ordering for us so that it was ready when we got out of a vineyard. She even prepared a picnic spot for us! She brought a cooler of water & prepared a snack tray for us that we could eat in the car between wineries. Laura made all 4 of us girls feel so comfortable & we truly had a blast! I highly recommend this company & will use them on my next trip to Napa!

My Napa Valley Driver was not good but great. Each and every email between Bev and Chris were great, easy and fast. Our Driver Greg Martino was exceptional. He not only was on time but took us to other places that we loved. He brought snacks which turned out to be clutch. Very knowledgable, educated us about not only vineyards, but trees, fruits and local horticulture. I will use this service again as it was great. 10 stars for this business. Thank you MNVD

We hired My Napa Valley Driver for 2 days and they sent over Janette. Without fail she was awesome! We had a great experience, and a great driver and I would recommend them and her 8 days a week and twice on Sundays. Truly a great experience and totally with every penny!!!

Did this a couple years back and having a driver up in Napa is a must (obviously). Our driver was Manny and he was great. There were a few areas I wanted to go to and he was on it. Very great guy and good, safe driver. Next time we’re up there I’m going to give Manny a call

My friends and I splurged while on a girls trip and got a driver to take us to the Sonoma wineries for the day. Tom was punctual, courteous, thoughtful and efficient in his navigation around town. He brought water for us. He even insisted that we stop to get a sandwich at a local deli so we wouldn’t overindulge on wine and pay for it later. Tom called ahead to the wineries to announce our arrival and asked us several times if we wanted water, food, etc. Do yourself a favor and let Tom pamper you if you decide to splurge on a driver.

First. Review. Ever.
I pretty much talk about writing a Unilocal review all the time. «Man, that place was fantastic… we should write a review.» Or «Well, that sure sucked… we’ll show them on Unilocal.» Days, weeks, years later and they are all distant memories of reviews that could’ve been.
Today is the day and Chris at My Napa Valley Driver is the reason. This weekend was our 2^nd experience using Chris, and it was every bit as fantastic as the first– which was just after New Year’s. He’s punctual, friendly, entertaining, knowledgeable, accommodating and perfect to have around if just for the picture taking. Plus, the cost is significantly less than a DUI. We are Napa locals and not afraid to drive to a winery but when the day calls for a couple of wineries, we won’t ever hesitate to give Chris a call.

We rode with Nick Dougherty for two days this past weekend and he was exceptional. He showed up with water and a magical day pack with stuff to cover any possible anticipated need. He helped us make it to our reservations on time and also recommended outstanding places for us to visit based on our desires and not places that give kickbacks. He really knew the area and the industry and ran errands for us while we did tastings. A little costly, but well worth it.

Had a fabulous experience again with My Napa Valley Driver. He set us up with Brigid who was on time, very friendly, helped our group of 9 get a last minute reservation and overall just very pleasant!
Very reasonably priced and would definitely use them again!

This review is long over due. But better late then never! My boyfriend and I used My Napa Valley Drivers in September and they were great. Specifically Greg! He was friendly and lighthearted. Always ready to take a picture or help carry our purchased wine to our car. He also packed wonderful lunches for us. We didn’t know you need to go to a specific vineyard with a picnic license, and he worked everything out. Even set the table with a cute red-​checkered tablecloth. He thought of everything!
I prepared a fairly flexible itinerary for us, with little knowledge of the area, and he took our list of vineyards and amplified it so we really got the full Napa experience. I have recommended him and will continue to recommend this company to any friend that asks!

We were so excited that we hired a driver, we felt sooo high class having someone drive us around… but that feeling soon wore off… fast. Our driver was a good guy but was just not what we expected.
1. It was a cash only business with a minimum of 5 hours… and it cost about $ 35 an hour. Do the math! Seriously are you going to carry around $ 200+ since you probably won’t hit the 5 hour and go over, don’t forget tip. We did 6 hours and tip to almost about $ 240. CASH. Luckily my friend w/​d some cash… but seriously? Ever heard of Square Credit Card reader? Or even PayPal, like maybe put a deposit for half and the rest later?
2. Bad driver. We didn’t get Chris ad Bev like everybody in all the other reviews got. Or anybody mentioned in any of the good reviews. I don’t even know if those reviews are legit or solicited. Anyway, we got *XXXXXXX* don’t want to call him out or have him fired because he’s a really nice man, but maybe not for us since we wanted a more lively driver, we’re 4 young professional women. He swerved, drove like 25 in a 35mph, we kind of think maybe he was trying to take his time? Parked horribly as well. Also didn’t know where some wineries were, we had to direct him. And when he said he knew where it was he missed the turn and would have to do a U turn. We felt he didn’t know the area much…
3. Not following through. My friend who booked this said our driver will plan out our day or an itinerary. But he didn’t know anything. He didn’t plan our day and while we were wine tasting he said he’ll call around to see which ones don’t take resos but he never followed through.
4. It was just a horrible experience. We will probably not hire a driver from here again and maybe just have one of us stay sober because $ 240ish was not worth it. Seriously. we could have just brought our friend and paid less and have a great experience.
Why 2 stars and not 1? At least the owners of this company called my friend who booked it and asked her how her experience went. They were kind enough to work out something with her and our bad experience. I’m all up for giving second chances and revising my review, but I would have to see it for myself. As of now, this was totally not worth it. Save your money.

With only 12 hours notice we were able to reserve a driver. (Don’t try this during peak season) Greg was fantastic and gave us many winery tips and interesting facts throughout our day with him. Chris was VERY accommodating and responsive to my last minute emails and phone calls. Having a driver made our day of tasting perfect. I will definitely use this service again.

I don’t get it. After reading such amazing reviews on Unilocal and Tripadvisor I was convinced MyNapaValleyDriver would help create an amazing experience for our first trip to Napa.
I emailed them to inquire about availability for 2 days in March 2015. Bev replied almost immediately and asked me to call Chris. I called, and he was busy and asked if he could call me back later that day. No problem. 3 days go by and he emails me stating he wrote my number down incorrectly. (Don’t all cell phones have a call log?) Anyways, we finally talked on the phone and came up with a plan for 2 days in Napa. I asked if I would get a confirmation email and he assured me that I’d get one with a list of suggested wineries. I waited… and finally sent an email to request confirmation. No reply. I even texted him. no reply.
I know Napa can get very busy and small companies work hard to get business. As a responsible consumer, I researched and planned ahead. How does a company with such great reviews drop the ball like this? (I don’t work for another company, just a guy who’s trying to organize a great trip for 6 of his friends… what a waste of my time and effort)
Thankfully, there are other companies who do the same thing, and hopefully we’ll have a great experience with them.

Chris took us out yesterday. My boyfriend and I had never been wine tasting, so we left the planning up to Chris. The first winery he took us to was beautiful; however, we were finished there pretty quickly. Based on a few questions Chris got a feel for what he believed we would enjoy. The next winery he took us to was Saddleback, it is definitely not what you would think of when you think Napa Winery. The experience was so wonderful and intimate, and the wine was delicious. The last winery we went to was our favorite. Casa Nuestra does not only have amazing wine, but Robin was so pleasant and shared some unbelievable story’s about the history. Chris did an excellent job at catering to our personalities and making sure we had a perfect time. We will definitely call Chris again!

My Napa Valley Wine Driver was spectacular, especially because of our wonderful driver Linda! We were in Napa for two days back in August, and it was our first time visiting wine country. We had a few must-​visit reservations planned out, but Linda gave us some fabulous recommendations to fill in the gaps. She was so knowledgeable about everything and was super informative as we traveled around the area. Everything about the experience with My Napa Valley Wine Driver was simple, easy, and enjoyable. I wouldn’t want to do Napa any other way,

Chris and Bev made it so easy on us. From the first email, the reply was very prompt and courteous. Chris drove our car and was an absolute blast to be around. He even gave us some local knowledge that helped us out as we rearranged some plans based on his recommendations and we were not disappointed.
Next time I’m going to have Chris plan my entire wine tasting itinerary as all of his suggestions were wonderful.
He was always prompt, always courteous, friendly as could be and funny to boot! He definitely added something special to our trip.
Although safety was the first concern, we now know that there are so many more benefits to having a fun local take you around who has the right connections… Thanks Chris!

What a great way to experience Napa Valley.
Will was excellent and took my wife and I to four different wineries. Two of them were quite off the beaten track, and that made the experience more memorable. Will was great to talk to, and you learn so much about wine and the area from him.
Hiring a driver from here only costs $ 35/​hr, and there’s comfort in knowing you won’t be chancing a DUI. You can just be comfortable, and drink to the gills if you want.

While touring around Napa a couple weeks ago, we weren’t in need of a driver, but we were in need of a photographer. We stopped at a perfect photo spot, but it was just the husband and me. All of a sudden a car pulls right up to us, a well-​dressed man hops out and I swear the first thing out of his mouth was «would you like me to take your picture?»
*jaw drops*
The driver (Manny) then took our picture, a pic of the couple he was with AND volunteered to take one of another couple that arrived after them. This courteous gesture was appreciated by everyone! We spoke with the couple he was driving with and they told stories of the day. They were thrilled with the service they received. I asked for his card because a classy person like this is EXACTLY who I would recommend my friends to call when they come visit. Everyone always wants to see the Napa Valley when they stay with us, and even though I’m not far, I don’t know the area well at all. How lucky that we found someone who does!
