Coworking Connection

This facility was able to accommodate my last minute request for a meeting room that I required. The office staff was friendly, the internet was very fast, and the room I was provided was comfortable and adequate for my needs. The prices were also reasonable. If I ever need space again in the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to utilize their services again.

At first, Coworking Connection sounded like a great idea for our company. The facility is nice and convenient. We are a new local business and needed to find a place that would give us the opportunity to gather the money for the 3 days we requested to reserve their training room (Nov. 12 – 14). They were very nice a negotiable in the beginning. Shannon is the one who booked for me and was very nice and said that as long as I had credit card on file, they wouldn’t charge us until the day of our reservation dates. We were able to agree to membership rates and the use of their address for our business license process.
Although, we are not members, Coworking was nice to give us a membership rate because we are just starting. In this process I had to file for a fictitious name ($ 68) and use the same address on the business license application.
When the time came, the OWNER Dione refused to give me any type of agreement of a «sub-​lease» or «membership agreement» even though that’s what the city was asking for. Not sure Coworking did not see that I would need this information since the city said they were in full awareness of other business applicants using the address of Coworking Connection. I suppose, being a member at Coworking is part of the benefit to get a confirmation from them for the city. Dione and Shannon were questioning me as to why I would not use my San Diego address. As if I were only using them for their address and walk away with no use of their office. I felt offended in their tone and voice messages continuously questioning me. They never understood that these two forms needed to match in address. I’m not one to complain and I am very easy to please, so this already was unprofessional.
To make things worse, two days ago, Shannon called me asking me if I was going to put down a security deposit because there was another business who really wanted the same dates I had reserved and that they were offering to pay in full. This was a HUGE SHOCK to me. I told her about our verbal & email agreement I had with Dione and she said she wasn’t aware even though SHE was the one who booked this for me to begin with. She had to call Dione to figure out what was going on. When Shannon called me back she said Dione wasn’t sure about the email I was referring to. Go figure. Everyone all of a sudden seemed to forget about our agreement!
My partner and I already saw this coming. That they were going to play games and possibly cancel on us. We even thought about having THEM sign an agreement to not cancel. But you know what, they were completely unprofessional and make their business come off as a very easy process, which it WAS NOT. I hope they bring this up to their next staff meeting so that this ridiculous and petty miscommunication never happens again!
& til this day, that other company did not reserve the room dates. I know this because they are very good at updating their public calendar online. Nice try Coworking Connection. I know the game you set us up for. Didn’t catch us. You’re now out $ 900.

& please don’t try to respond back because I will never reconsider working with you & at this point there’s nothing you can do to fix this with me, but to fix it with your staff!

I have been a member of Coworking Connection for almost two years. It is a perfect place to meet clients or host training events.
I have desk space there full time and love that I am able to interact with other business owners who also rent space in this fun, local and professional office.
This is great idea for those who are working from home and want to get out in the world a few days a month or transition from working out of the house full time into a more professional environment.

Great staff. Great facilities. Great concept. I highly recommend Dione and the Coworking Connection for both self-​employed and work-​from-​home sales professionals. The meeting facilities are top notch as well.

Coworking is great! I love this place. As a small business owner, sometimes it gets a little lonely working at home. I am so glad to have this place nearby. You can pop in and work whenever you want (during normal business hours anyway…) and work at a desk or cubicle. Also, I’ve always had a weird awkward thing about inviting people to my house for business meetings and this totally solves this (plus my house can be messier)! They have conference and meeting rooms and stuff that you can use to meet clients. So helpful! Also, I love that this place is local. The only places like this I have seen are in LA and other big cities, and I love that there is now one around here. I also have a friend that uses the huge training room for teaching her seminars. Can’t say enough good things about this place!
