My kids always have a great time! Wanted to do something different for my brothers birthday so invited him and friends here we had a great time! Adult skate felt like Jr. High again really fun.

This place is great! I love to go skating her with my friends and exercise. The cast is very helpful and kind. The food here was great. Sure it was pricey, but really, if you let a price bother your skating then you shouldn’t be there. But other than that so much fun!

My husband and I drove from San Marcos and had a blast! They have closed both skating rinks in North County so our 40 minute drive was so worth it!!! Our kids loved the pizza and chicken strips. Staff was very nice and the DJ gladly accepted our request to change up the skating direction to help workout the other side of our legs:) My husband and I plan to make this a weekly get away workout for us next time during the adult skating times. Nice roller rink. Clean and colorful. Music was okay. Too many people on the rink but I guess that’s business. Would recommend Kids come here for birthday parties because the party rooms are nice and spacious!

My grandsons Blake and Dylan love going here to skate and they really look out for the kids here and the pizza is great! I see some really negative comments made here which were to extreme so I don’t know if a bad day or if just being negative nancy? but the boys go practically every weekend and we have had a birthday party as well which went really great and it may seem a little pricy however they really cater to the kids and each guest received a gift card and a return pass!

Amazing, best roller rink in 30 years of skating. I was looking to get back to skating, but the nearest place was a pure dive 30 years old (by looks), not well kept up. This place is great — nice rink, nice people, smooth floors outside the rink too, nice rentals, actual good food and comfortable spots for non skaters to sit. Love it! My balance is a little shaky, it’s been a good 10 years since I skated regularly, looking forward to coming back.
Oh, and the beer and wine to keep my non skating husband happy is a great addition. I’ve got kids, I don’t get any pretense the kids can’t know alcohol exists.

We have twins and took them to Epic tonight for the first of many trips. We were not skating tonight, instead we relaxed on the comfy sofas and utilized the free Wi-​Fi and abundant outlets to plug our electronics in while the girls skated. There was NO charge for us to enter the building or to sit and watch the girls skate. The atmosphere was awesome, the floor awesome (based on the skaters opinion), the food was good and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and attentive and the price$ 21 for two kids to skate for three hours which breaks down to $ 3.50 per hour per child was a fantastic deal. Quite comparable to the local jump zones and bowling. We give this place 8 thumbs way up and will be back! Anyone complaining about price is misinformed. It’s a great value.

You guys get 3 stars due to poor music videos. Girls shacking or twerk was not cool. This is a FAMILY PLACE!
Food was horrible. I know its a skating rink but really you charged me a lot and I got not so good food. If any one reads this DO NOT EAT HERE! Just skate and try and not to look at the videos they play.
The skate part was great but other than that not suck much.

Great place and the staff is friendly. I had a lot of fun. The music had a good mix from the 80s to current. I love how they mixed an 80s feel to a modern vibe. The rink is fair sized and they are quick to help when 1 falls down. for 7 to 10 bucks you cant go wrong even if you dont skate and just want to watch youre kid

Love this place!!! We bring the kids here at least once a week. I love the music and they have beer, which is always a plus. :) Sometimes it does get busy, but it isn’t their fault. I love that The owner reads and responds to all the negative reviews. Food is awesome as well

So far so good the kids had a blast and so did the wifey and I :)
I haven’t been on skates in a long time but I actually did pretty well and my daughters think I’m awesome on the slates. Lol

For roller skating, it was fun. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. The on rink guy was helpful, giving my 6 year old roller skating Pal pointers and adjusting her wheels to her ability. I’m not much into roller skating, so maybe not much of an expert. it seems like a fun thing to do in town, convenient to get to and safe.

Love this place… my favorite place to come for ME TIME!
The classes for adults are great… youre pretty much guaranteed to be a lot more skilled after just one class. music is great on adult nights and the lighting is always fun.

This place is really disappointing. First off Epic is supposed to be family friendly. The music videos they play on the big screen are very inappropriate. I’ve seen girls in thongs with my 6 and 7 year old asking my why there are girls showing their butts. This is disturbing.
Secondly, the customer service is lousy. Yesterday I took my 8 year old to skate with her friend for her birthday. I brought a gift in which the staff came and asked for the gift to be removed. They don’t want parties advertised if they aren’t part of their party package, in which we were not having a birthday party. We simply brought a gift with us.
When we had 15 minutes left of our session I asked the woman behind the counter if the dj could do a shout out for my daughters friend. She asked me if it was her birthday and I said yes, then she asked if we paid for a birthday package through them. When I said no she told me she would not do a shout out for her. I told them that doesn’t seem right but her response was, well we’d get 20 million requests a day. So what? If we’re spending 60 dollars for a family of 4 and you are family friendly, what’s the problem? Money. This establishment is all about the money and not the service.
To top it off one of the workers ran into my daughter who is 8 and left her there, her 8 year old friend had to help her off because she hurt her knee.
Epic you could be awesome but you’re greedy. If you allowed people to have small parties there without your over priced packages you would have more people coming and you would make more money the right way.

10TH birthday party for my daughter was even better than hoped for. Pizza was actually very tasty, private room was perfect, but even the general party area would have been great.
Our hostess, Haley, did a great job! She was friendly and helpful and saw that our needs were met.
I will absolutely be returning and may even throw my own birthday party here.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!

Drove 40 minutes to come here and it was definitely worth it. Went to a Sunday session from 2 – 4:30. Plenty of time for the kids to be properly exhausted after skating. I was pleasantly surprised at how busy it was. Slightly perturbed at how long it took to pay and get skates (15 minutes total), but it didn’t seem to bother the kids that it cut into their skate time. I loved the décor and though I didn’t use it, appreciated that there is wifi available. I have my own skates and was thankful that it’s slightly less if you bring your own. My oldest 2 rented in line skates, my youngest got regular skates. Plenty of entrance points and ample comfortable seating for viewing or taking a break. The music was a good level and a nice mix. My oldest son requested Queen and they played it. Totally kid appropriate music in my opinion but not the obnoxious stuff. My youngest who is 5 was skating for the first time, and he had as much fun as the 16 and 13 year old kids.
My only true disappointment was the price for food and locker usage. 75c each time to open and close the locker is a bit of a rip off. Although I did see the snack bar was a nice set up and had plenty to offer, I suggested that we go elsewhere afterwards based on the prices. No cups for water, and bottled water was $ 2. Too much for a family to quench their thirst, but the water fountains were nice and cool, and didn’t taste bad at all, so it wasn’t a deal breaker coming here. Just wish prices were slightly less and our family would have eaten and bought drinks here, so I suppose that’s money lost for the rink today and in the future from our family.
The rink was nice and cool as we skated, but not so cold it was noticeable when we weren’t.
All in all, I would recomend this rink. I will be coming back. Would like to go to an adult night and see what that’s like. A little nervous about the alcohol mixing with skating, so I’ll be curious to see how that goes together. Frankly, I was surprised they served alcohol in a place that is more high risk with so many skaters. Anyway, I’m thankful skating is alive and well, and after our more local place closed, was happy to learn that there’s a few thriving.

Small, awakwardly shapped rink, but still loads of fun. I could not find a comfortable pair of roller blades, so next time I will bring my own.
The arcade had a good selection of games, and my parents enjoyed the food they had from the concession stand. From my perspective the concessions were a little pricey, but what else do you expect at an attraction such as this?

On a more positive note, Epic Rollertainment is always a blast! We have visited this venue for a birthday party, afternoon free skate, and school events. Our son LOVES this place! Be sure to check out their website for skate times and theme details as they host free skate and various events throughout the month. One time I made the mistake of not confirming times of their free skate and I arrived inbetween a free skate session. I still had to pay the full price of the session yer only had 50 minutes of that session to skate. If I wanted to overlap into the next session, I would have to pay again. Still, a fun way to spend an afternoon with family and friends! Staff is always pleasant. Pizza is delicious! There is even a play area that is tended to by staff, where little ones who are not old enough yet to skate, can enjoy fun activities without wheels. If you bring your own gear, they will check it to make sure you don’t have any rock or gravel damage on your wheels that may damage their rink flooring. Small lockers are available, first come, first serve and use coins. Arcade and roller skating shop keeps everyone busy off the rink too. Can’t say it enough: Our family loves it here!

I stopped by to visit a friend whose kids were enjoying some afternoon fun in the rink. As we were watching them, I couldn’t help but remembered how I used to go skating with my friends when we were in high school… those were fun times.
This is clean, family fun entertainment. The staff were a friendly bunch made up of mainly college aged adults. The skate rental cost was relatively cheap, and you can buy snack foods at the concession booth.

My family comes here weekly and my kids have blast and get great exercise while doing it. My kids have the membership which gives each kid 10 sessions for $ 59. And they have their own skates.
Its pretty funny to see some of the bad reviews. Its not for everyone. Yes you have to pay money for the skating and the food… and yes there are rules… and yes its not a big rink… yes it gets crowded at times.
Thursday night it is $ 10 for skate session and a rental for 3 ½ hours of skating. Where can you go anywhere in this town and have your kids entertained for that. Mulligans? Movies? Nah.
The rules are for safety, if anything they are pretty relaxed about it. The rink is small because its a small building built for a furniture store. If anyone was around this town 3 years ago there was not much to do around here. Thank you Epic for something besides the mall.
The staff is not perfect but getting better, «growing pains people». Anytime I have ever had a problem and I have had a few, I just approached a manager or owner and they fixed it with a smile. I havent had any experience with any of the birthday parties here so I cant help you there.
All I can say is that all of the people I see skating here have a smile on their face, thank you Epic for being a reasonably priced entertainment option that gets my kids away from the electronics and gets them exercising for a full 3 hours.
