History

Established in 1981.

Hay Tire opened its doors in June 1981 and is still owned by Henry and David Hay. This father-​son team is deeply involved in daily operations. They have seen many families bring additional generations of drivers to Hay Tire for their automotive needs, and they are also pleased when a visitor to our town stops by because a waiter or hotel desk clerk recommended us. The company has grown from a handful of employees to over 30 employees with the addition of a store in Mt. Pleasant in November 2007. The Hays have worked hard to maintain the feel and personal touch of a small business.
