BE CAREFUL! I just drove all the way to Mountain View from Danville to look at a car posted on CL… the ad says 146xxx miles and has a picture of the car. When I got there the car had 222xxx miles on it. Just saw the ad on CL and still has 146xxx… SCAMMERS!
When I told the guy that the car had 222K not 146K he just walked away, not an I’m sorry or anything… thats terrible business!

I was super fortunate to find a fantastic 2000 Honda Accord with less than 30,000 miles on it at Barooni’s via AutoTrader. The car had just been listed and was very reasonably priced so I drove all the way from San Rafael to give it a look. The staff at Barooni’s were very helpful and professional. They gave me a Free Car Fax to relieve any concerns I might have about the vehicle and its amazing low mileage claims. I drove away with the car two days later. Financing through an off site lender was a breeze and the car served me for over 8 years with only standard type repairs. Even though it was sometime ago I wanted to make sure I shared my great experience with these guys!

Beware of this place… I brought my car in to have the timing belt changed. When i picked my car up, they handed me a belt (from another car) & charged me a small fortune! The belt broke 6 months later… Had it replaced & the mechanic at the other showed me my belt & said it was old & jagged…
Then i brought my car into barooni to have my right shock replaced but instead of replacing it, they scammed me & removed it & the car bounced all over the place when i drove it. I called them & they said the left one needed to be replaced now! Such scammers…

Great car dealership and mechanics. Prices are extremely competitive and the financing was a piece of cake. Go see George. He’ll definitely take care of you.

This is the best experience with car repair, and with a car purchase, we have ever had!!!
My car broke down on a holiday weekend, Saturday afternoon, and we were a good hour from home. I found Barooni on Unilocal,and taking a chance on the good reviews, called them. George agreed to wait there for us to arrive via tow truck. His mechanic had already left for the day, but he promised he would do his best for us, as we had already determined that there were no rental cars available in the vicinity, due to the holiday. George was a miracle worker, provided a quality solution for $ 75, and I returned for the total repair needed 2 weeks later. I had received another estimate of $ 1000 for the repair needed, and George and Albert’s shop got the whole thing done for $ 200 including parts, high quality work, we were so satisfied with the results.
George and Albert went out of their way to provide customer service, and we decided to buy a second car from them also. What a good decision that was! Fair pricing, honest people, great car. I am already planning to buy my next used car from them, and to travel out of area to get repairs done in their shop. I have never had a better experience, and neither has my partner, and we have been driving for 40+ years. I wish there was a Barooni’s where I live!

I came here based on the Unilocal reviews for my new used vehicle. Thank you Unilocalers for your reviews of this wonderful establishment that made me decide to give Barooni’s a shot. George and his team are great! They have a great selection of quality used vehicles and are very honest. I am hoping I will not have to any time soon but if I need repair I will definitely use their shop as they seemed very knowledgeable about the 2001 Saab 9 – 3 Convertible I bought from them. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Barooni Imports with their owners George and Alfred have renewed my perspective of used car dealers. George is there everyday 10 – 5, ready to help you and find your future car.
I personally bought and sold many cars through George over the years and he taking great lengths to repair and maintain my cars as well. Sometimes I wish I had the better judgement in taking his advice in my past car troubles. Rarely you find somebody who has the 20+ years experience in European cars and passion.

I bought a used car couple of month ago. The seller/​owner suggested his usual mechanic for fixing couple of things on the car. I did and I got a $ 1500 dollars estimate. A friend suggested Barooni, first I was little sceptical about the place but these guys provided high quality services and 50% less than my previous $ 1500 estimate.
They also sell cars, mostly high mileage car over 90K but the cars are in pretty good shape.

Taking your car to a shop is always tense, you always think you are going to get ripped off, because you don’t know about engines and if the thing they tell you has to be fixed is really broken or even exists. Barooni is the one place I am never nervous about. I know my car is in honest, competent hands. I have been taking my car there for years, and have always been pleasantly surprised at how little the bill is. They go out of their way to get you the best prices on parts, have great deals on used cars, and George and Afu are 2 of the nicest men I’ve had the pleasure to deal with. This shop is farther for me to get to but always worth the drive. A+++++++++++++++++

Barooni’s is the most honest and trust worthy repair shop I have ever been to. My family has been taking their cars here for years. George and Afu (sp?) are the nicest guys! They always take such good care of my car, and go out of their way to make sure I get the best price. They go way above and beyond the call of duty. I don’t trust anyone else with my car. My family has now bought five cars from them, and we have never been disappointed. I highly recommend them!!!

I bought a 2001 Volvo from here, and got a really great deal. George is really great! Was willing to help with picking of the car, and fixing any issues. So great that we have since gone back for a Lexus SUV and a Range Rover!
