History

Established in 1980.

With over 30 years of experience, we are the industry leader in natural stone and tile installations and fabrications. We fabricate and install natural stone and tile in fine homes and businesses throughout New York City and the Tri-​State area.

To date we’ve installed over 2 million square feet of natural and engineered stone and tile throughout the Northeastern United States, Bermuda and other parts of the country.

We are passionate about natural stone and tile and it is our passion that drives everything that we do. Our professionals guide you through the often overwhelming process of choosing and installing the right materials for your project, but we don’t stop there. Installing natural stone and tile is an investment for you which we take very seriously; from the moment that you first contact us until your new installation is completed to your satisfaction.

Business Owner

I began my career in the construction industry 37 ago while serving in the United States Marine Corps, and in 1974 served as Director of Field Operations in the Engineer’s Unit. Upon returning from the service to civilian life, I began working in private construction building homes and home additions for residential clients.

Shortly thereafter I started a ceramic, marble and glass tile installation company, now known as Dimensional Stone & Tile Designs, Inc. My career has afforded me an extensive background with products and an in-​depth knowledge of sealers and chemical cleaners. Through a combination of classroom training and hands-​on experience, I went on to found Natural Stone Refinishing Corp., a high-​quality stone and tile restoration service.

I’ve developed a reputation of excellence in the stone and tile industry and am certified to work in several highly specialized areas, including Stone Forensics.
