History

Established in 1997.

Economy Kitchens And Baths’ roots can be traced to Tru-​Art Kitchens, which began operation in 1941 under the direction of its founder and President, Martin, and his two brothers. Located in Roselle, NJ Tru-​Art focused primarily on custom cabinetry for residential customers.

In 1994, Jay and Tom purchased the company and incorporated under

Economy Kitchens and Baths. The newly formed company continued to

offer superior cabinet re-​facing and new kitchens, but also began to focus in other areas such as bath remodeling. Over the next several years the company continued to respond to its customer’s needs, and it was further transformed into one of the region’s most respected full service kitchen and bath concerns. On September 18, 1996, Economy Kitchens And Baths moved to its present location in Rahway, NJ.

Tom purchased Economy Kitchens And Baths in 1994 along with Jay his business partner. Tom is of Polish descent, and also speaks the language.
