History
Established in 2001.
Founded by Chaim Gur-Arieh Ph.D. Winemaker, and his wife Elisheva. C. G. Di Arie is situated on 209 acre estate at 1,700 elevation. 13,000 sf. world class «Gravity Feed» winery. 47 Acres of grapes planted to French, Italian, Protuguese and Spanish varieties. Using sustainable farming practices, all grapes are hand harvested and hand selected. Fermentation is done with one of a kind, patented «Submerged-Cap Fermentation Tanks». Wine is aged using French and Hungarian barrels. Winemaker Chaim Gur-Arieh produces unique varieties, new world blend and small lot production of boutique multiple award winning wines.

Business Owner
Chaim Gur-Arieh, Winemaker, Owner of C. G. Di Arie Vineyard & Winery. Born in Itanbul Turkey. Graduated from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. Received his Ph.D. in Food Technology and Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, at Urbana. Developed many Iconic food products in the food industry; such as Cap’n Crunch, Power Bar, Hidden Valley Dressing (liquid), Pudding-in-a-Cup, various other bars and food products. Founded and managed for 30 years, California Brands Flavors and sold that company to Mane et Fils, an International French Flavor Company. In 2001, Chaim fulfilled his life long dream of owning a winery and producing his own wines. A lover of both traditional French and European wines together with New World Wines. Chaim devotes his energy and passion to combine and integrate these two styles of wines, forever being mindful of respecting each style individually.
