I’m the luckiest gal on the world!
Plain and simple I enjoy creating. I am blessed to be able to work for myself contribute to supporting my family and more so to have their support. I am driven by my motto «Your will will kill you without execution» and believe one should never let a talent down. I’ve got tons more ideas, plenty to come.
I teach fiber art and sewing classes in Chicagoland and truly enjoy being inspired by my students.
In November 2011 I launched the super-fun Sew Much for That! Host an Eco-Sew Party throughout Chicagoland with events for adults, teens, tweens and Scouts.

Business Owner
Alison Selivon is a Fiber Artist with more than 20 years experience including surface design, garment construction, and interiors applications. She teaches fiber art and sewing classes at several locations in Chicagoland. Her hats have been featured on the WGN Morning News and she received her first US patent July 2012. In November 2011 she launched the super-fun Sew Much for That! Host an Eco-Sew Party throughout Chicagoland with events for adults, teens, tweens and Scouts. In June 2013 Designs by Alison refined and packaged fleece apparel designs to appeal to the masses. Benchwarmers Products is launching with three products resulting in endless possibilities. The customer selects colors, selects products and adds their designs. Benchwarmers target is fundraisers, team gear, spirit wear, cold weather sports sponsorships, camps, outings.
