Fantastic. Pure and Simple.
Long story short, we had to postpone our wedding day till about year from the time we actually met with Kelly and Rahn at the venue. When it came time, they had all the notes, knew exactly what we wanted and were ready. They are so organized and professional.
** I do not say this lightly… Sooooo many things went wrong for our wedding. We had issues with every single vendor expect for Lighting by Rahn. They were the only people that I did not even have to think about. I never even saw them. They came when they said they would, set everything up perfectly, and came back when they said they would, and took it all down. I could not possibly express my gratitude for not causing us one bit of stress. Biggest thanks to them and I will hire them and refer them any chance I get!

Our lighting for our wedding was absolutely beautiful! It was all that I had hoped for and more! Kelly and Rahn were extremely easy to work with and very personable. I was so discouraged about doing lighting for our wedding because I didn’t think we could fit it into our budget, but Kelly and Rahn gave us more than what we wanted for much less than their competitors. Whenever that happens, generally you think that it is too good to be true and that the finished product is going to be sub standard. This couldn’t be farther from the truth in this case! Kelly and Rahn personally met with me at our venue to discuss our needs. They really went the extra mile for us. I would recommend Lighting By Rahn over and over again to anyone looking to have a beautifully lit wedding.

hire kelly & rahn for your wedding!!! not only did we get TONS of compliments on the lights but kelly & rahn are the nicest and are a pleasure to work with. seriously. they were flexible, friendly, helpful, creative, and they are really experts at what they do. they put up beautiful bistro lights for our backyard wedding. i would use them again and would recommend them to anyone and everyone without reservations!

I’m a wedding coordinator and Rahn & Kelly did the lighting for a recent wedding of mine at Orcutt Ranch! They were so fabulous to work with!!! They met with my bride at the venue and talked through various options for lighting. They were very straightforward in their approach and so sweet to work with! After the initial meeting, they emailed is pricing information for the different options we discussed. They were very accommodating to the bride’s budget! They even threw in some Shepherds hooks for us to use.
At the end of the night, even with a really tight clean up time, they were on time and very much adhered to the time restrictions we had. And through the whole process they maintained a positive attitude and were a joy to work with!

Rahn lit up our wedding reception in our friend’s backyard on September 30, 2012. Before booking Lighting By Rahn, we really weren’t sure what to do since we were on a small budget, but we reached out to Kelly (who owns the business with her husband, Rahn) to see what they might be able to offer. She assured me they could be flexible and work within our means — and they they delivered!
A few months before the wedding we scheduled a walk-​through of the space with Rahn. There was a minor miscommunication in scheduling, but it was the only hiccup in an otherwise drama-​free experience. When we met Rahn at the walk-​through, we immediately felt comfortable with him. We could tell he is an expert at what he does — he understood what we wanted and needed — and was honest about what we didn’t need. In the end, we had the simple, magical lighting we envisioned, and all for a great price.
The friends who hosted our wedding liked the lighting so much that they’ve hired him for other events/​parties and even had him install some permanent lighting for them, as well!
