Today I noticed that this See’s Candies location was closed down. I was driving by and noticed the sign was taken down. This saddens me because ever since the new Atlantic Square was built about 1994 I have been going to that See’s every Christmas to bring my nieces there to choose their Christmas candy. I would as well choose Christmas candies as well. I love See’s Candies. It’s the best of the best so I can’t see why they would close down. I suppose I could go to Alhambra on Valley but I wonder is that one closed or will it close down? The Monterey Park location did good business so I wonder why would they close down? Did the landlord try to get more money out of them by raising rent every time the lease was up? Whatever the reason I think it’s sad because it served this community and now its’ gone. Hope they open another one in MP somewhere, maybe Atlantic Time Square? By the way, the service was superb there. The people who worked there were super friendly and really were helpful. Sad they lost their jobs. Hope they could transfer to another location too.

I was surprised to see this location had closed down permanently. It was the closest location to my home, and I’ve bought tons of nuts and chews there. Perhaps they priced themselves out of the market at about $ 30 a pound. Now I get my candy at Costo’s, where two pounds of Kirkland Macadamia Caramel Clusters costs about twelve bucks, about six bucks a pound. Kirkland Chocolate coated almonds are even cheaper, about ten bucks for three pounds. A much better buy than See’s, and I’m almost as happy!

This See’s has awesome customer service. From the time I stepped foot in the store I was greeted. Ladies behind the counter are very patient and helpful. I appreciate when workers go the extra mile. I will definitely be back.

Visiting See’s Candies with my sister several times a year for the past few years, I can definitely say this location has excellent customer service! They greet you when you walk in the door and offer you a free sample while you wait. They pack the boxes neatly when you create a special box for yourself or as a gift. Brenda always treats us nicely and even remembers what are my favorites! The only downside is that my sister’s favorite, polar bear claws, have been out for some time. The peanuts that See’s uses in the polar bear claws must be hard to obtain. Cheers!

So it’s the night before Mother’s Day and we wanted a box of chocolate for a gift. As we Pulled up to the door passed business hours the door was being locked. Brenda let us in, her and her staff were so friendly. After what I’m sure was a long day they went above and beyond and weren’t annoyed by our last minute rush. They saved us a trip and made it a great experience. Thank you Brenda and team!

Great great customer service. And the ladies are so nice! I don’t give 5 stars because I am not a fan of chocolates in general(lucky me). But I had a gift certificate so I had to enjoy my gift. I don’t think I should re-gift gifts, but I believe in donating… And since I am not crazy about their Nuts & Chews, I decided to try each single truffle that they had on display. The ladies were so nice and patient! They allowed me to use the 1 lb gift certificate to make my own customized box with each single truffle that they had on display without extra charge. I think that the pricing is different if you do your own customized box.

«WOW!» is how I felt as I left the store earlier tonight. I came by after work because I still had a 1# Gift Certificate from Christmas and wanted to pick up some choco-yummies. As I walked in, I noticed everything was red! Just in time for Valentine’s Day! It’s an average sized shop with lots of goodies. I was greeted by Jonathan and he took care of me as I struggled to decide what I wanted, I got to choose 24 pieces! EEEeeeeee, so excited! :D Jonathan was very patient with me as I wanted 2 pieces of this &4 pieces of that… I don’t like getting the prepackaged boxes, because they don’t have enough of my faves and too many of the ones I don’t like. Plus, this way, I will always get at least one of my faves, even when it gets raided. As I was looking at the case, I saw the new white chocolate flavors… MMMM I love white chocolate. Strawberry Truffle, Key Lime Truffle, and Apple Pie Truffles! I got a couple pieces of each. I have only tried the Apple Pie Truffle at this time & it is DELISH!!! It really does taste like apple pie. Also, I wanted to try new things so I took my time to oogle the case. I didn’t want to be boring & only get my usual faves like Almond Royale, Almond Squares, Toffee-ettes, and Molasses Chips. My «WOW» feeling was from the great service I got from Jonathan. He went above and beyond! Thank you for making me feel like your only customer. :) I love See’s Candies but I come here for the great service! Thank you, Jonathan!!! :) Parking is pretty easy as it is in a shopping center. P. S. I actually like See’s more than Godiva? Yes, I do!

A nice little store that is never packed at all!!! Well that was a lie, its only packed on the days of special events such as Christmas, Valentines Day, and graduations. The small size of this store really doesn’t effect the outcome, as it’s small size gives off a cozy feeling.
