Love the culture. Very friendly environment. Very clean! The staff really takes pride at this location. Best location I’ve been to. I visited this location during the evening hours and it was moderately busy, but the food was great. Usually by this time I’ve experienced getting my food cold and pretty much getting what ever is left for the day. Not at this location. Our food was fresh and hot, but not to the point where you have to wait to dig in. Samples were offered upon us getting in line, which was great! This location has a tea bar. All of the looked very appealing. I tried the raspberry lemon tea and it was tasty. The staff were all very attentive and respectful. We were treated and helped with a smile. The food portions seemed very generous which was much appreciated since my kids and I were really hungry. Thank you! We plan on coming here again. I am going to make this location our go to for Panda.

I find Panda Express food is pretty consistent. In other words, it’s the exact same no matter which PE you go to. And it’s great. However I’ve noticed that in terms of service, PE comes in two categories: slow and fast. This is one of the slow ones. To the point that it can be annoying if you’re in a hurry. And if I’m in a hurry I find myself preferring neighboring places even though it’s PE I’m craving. They have a huge fancy touch-screen dispenser for soft drinks. Tech for the sake of tech I guess.

Love the new décor! Very sophisticated! And i love how they have tea bar. Its very different from other panda express! The fortune cookie shakes is a must try! The management team manages this place really well. The store is very clean… I will definitely come here for good food, friendly service & clean environment!

Panda Express is Panda Express I know what to expect, but this new one has an awesome seating area, 3 big tvs and the slowest service ever! for such a new modern looking location I’m disappointed the service speed downgraded.

I was disappointed that this Panda Express didn’t have black pepper chicken either like the one in Alhambra. I was hoping that they would have it and more entrée choices too but they had about the same amount of entrees as the one in Alhambra which isn’t that much. I do like that it has a tea bar. It’s the first PE that I have seen or been to that has a tea bar. I got the classic milk tea with tapioca pearls and it was good.

Yet another new restaurant in Atlantic Square. There sure have been quite a few new additions here and across the street in the last few years. I’ve been resisting this one because of all the times I’ve had Panda Express, only the one on Walnut Grove in Rosemead(next to their corporate headquarters LOL) made me really happy. What brought me in to this location were some things I read on Unilocal reviews. A tea bar! A big plus for me. Price for a large iced tea was less than what I usually pay at other tea places. You could choose the level of sweetness. Went with some Oolong iced tea at 25%. They open at 10am. This works for my husband’s funky work schedule. Chef Specials.(Ended up passing on those because of the $ 1.25 added cost. Panda Express is pricey enough as it is.) Added bonus points: Location within walking distance from home. Great because I loathe that congested parking lot. If you want, park on the residential street(Floral) behind the center and walk in. The chef cooked up a batch of my favorite Eggplant Tofu on the spot. Only a 5 minute wait and it was worth it. I do love the Panda Express version of this dish. Really liked having the choice of 3 finishing toppings for your plate. Went with pickled cucumbers, green papaya slaw & crispy shallots. Chose to take home a «Bigger»(3 entrees + a side) combo plate and an extra side of fried rice to split between two people. If I remember correctly, the price was around $ 8.25 before tax. That side of rice was $ 2.70. Chow mein as the side, eggplant tofu, Beijing Beef & Orange Chicken for the entrees. I had some of each and liked all the entrees. The chow mein was so-so. I’ll be back on occasion. Probably for the all-veggie bowl options. And the iced teas. Welcome to the neighborhood.

Since opening they have made some changes for the better. They got rid of the fancier looking plates that gave customers noticeably less food and now give generations portions in the familiar standard styrofoam to-go box. Since I started coming here again the food quality and service have been consistently good.

I have got to say, I am completely shocked and impressed haha. The renovation looks amazing. Seating is so comfortable. The assembly line goes really quickly even though there is 2 people working the food portion of it, and one or sometimes two cashiers. The decoration of the veggies they use is so pretty, it’s definitely a nice sight when waiting for food. They also have new food on the menu like wraps and salads. Not really my style but it’s popular among the community I always see people ordering it. Also the tea bar is insane. Fresh teas and fruit drinks made right in front of you, and I’m not gonna forgot to mention that they have boba as an option! Which is a plus in Monterey park(: I’m usually on the other side of downtown but live in Monterey park and I can definitely say that I’m coming back and the service was great! That’s a plus.

I was impressed by how upscale and spacious this new location was. The food was delicious as always but with new twists on the regular menu. I loved the new options and the tea bar was the icing on the cake. The dining area even had lounge chairs and tvs for entertainment. Would definitely come here again when I’m in the area.

It’s about time Mpk got a panda express. What’s to say? Their food is tasty, prices are a little steep for my liking, the ambiance is chill with living room feel to it complete with flat screen tv’s and a fireplace! I suggest their signature orange chicken and take some to go!

Whatever Panda Express did to change their image is working. I’m really liking the new and updated décor! But that’s just what’s on the surface. Let’s talk about what makes this particular location stand out above the rest. First and foremost, their menu is just a TAD different. All of your favorites are here, and then some. I’m not sure if it was just me, but it seems that the entrée options at this location are a bit more numerous than that of some of the other Pandas that I’ve been to. Either way, this location introduces something that I’ve never seen before: salads and«wraps»(c’mon, it’s a burrito, stop trying to American-ify it by calling it a wrap). Now, I’ve yet to have the opportunity to try one of these items, but having the options there and trying something new? Yeah, it’s nice to see. Another added bonus that I’ve never seen before in a Panda Express is the Tea Bar. There’s an additional little space that serves a variety of tea items in lieu of your standard soft drink. I’m not usually one to partake in something like this, but I’m sure that they are good, since I saw a considerable number of people dining with some variation of prepared tea in front of them. The service here is top-notch, and the employees are cheerful and helpful. Oh, and they have a bit of a heavy hand when it comes to portioning out your entrée choices. It’s sometimes nice to get that one extra little piece of chicken or beef on top… Oh, and the new Pepsi machine? Amazing. Just try not to get too sucked in with all the flavor choices to add to your soft drink. It can be overwhelmingly tasty. I like what you’ve done with the place, Panda Express. Keep it up.

I posted on the old listing. But somehow it moved… The restaurant is still at the same place though! I went back again last week and for the lemonade again, it was delicious as usual, the best part about it is it’s not too sweet. Didn’t purchase any food this time but they were really busy, the drinks came out relatively fast, bought a couple for fam as well. I really enjoy the upgraded décor so I think I’ll bring some friends or family to visit this location as well!

I came here to say that this place is great; food is always fresh and service is as good as it can be with a constant high volume of customers. The only thing is that the workers are forced to yell«WELCOME!» in your face at the top of their lungs every time the door opens. I mean, that’s gotta be at least 200 – 300 times a day. It must be exhausting for them, and I can only imagine they go home at the end of they day with lost voices and/or sore throats. I imagine it’s a corporate/management thing where those folks are just extremely detached from front line staff and have no idea what customer service entails. Anyways, I’ve been coming here so much that I think the staff knows me as the«Beijing Beef Guy». LOL

My first time in a tea bar panda express. The ambiance was really nice. There were many sitting arrangements for your style. The buffet contains the same menu but comes with a side complimentary condiment bar too. It consists of pickled cucumbers, slaw, spicy sauce, some type of Wasabi sauce and maybe something I don’t remember. Then there is the tea bar. From freshly made to order teas, smoothies, and more. Didn’t have the pleasure of getting any. Price point is different than its original sister locations. Would have liked if our food entrée was more warm. Wasn’t even room temperature. The chow mein was slightly warm. It more costly. I would definitely visit again.

Worst Panda I have ever been to. Sucks because it’s the nearest one my house. The chow mein is just onion and cabbage, good luck trying to get noodles. I tried this place a second time and again the noodles sucked, the beef & broccoli were not even cooked well. Then I went one last time with my family and the chow mein was burned and again had like 100 onions. Plus the serving is tiny compared to other pandas. They don’t serve you in a styrofoam box but a paper/plastic box. Oh and they don’t give you forks if you’re taking it to go just invade your in a rush –___–

It’s not really chinese food but still delicious as always. This place beats all chinese food in Monterey park in quality, service, and cleanness. If you are tired getting sick from eating in Monterey park try this place.
