Sean Jeon Golf Academy

I’ve had 5 different golf coaches since I started playing golf and Sean is the best for his clarity and methods. He gets straight to the point and get right on my biggest swing flaw first thing the first lesson. Sean is also punctual and organized. In terms of coaching style, Sean backs up his teaching with technical theories and start with the fundamentals that will improve your game most affectively. He focuses on drills that will improve many aspects of your swing instead of fixing one little thing at once. He also tailors his teaching based on individual needs. Much more good things to say about Sean based on my previous golf lessons experiences. All in all, if you want to improve consistently, and practice purposefully, give Sean a try.

Instructor Sean is amazing! I hired him to train my 5 year old daughter. Without any background or knowledge of golf, he was very patient and guided my daughter thru every step. This is her second session, and she is improving every time. Awesome job instructor Sean!

Really helpful and a awesome coach. He knows a lot about golf and he knows how to teach people. I learned a lot. After three or four lesson with Sean, my golf swing improve a lot and become more consistent. Now, can hit 30 or 40 years more. Call him.

Beware — lessons with Sean will turn you into a die-​hard golfer, and as a result, you will abandon your loved ones in favor of golfing with Sean. My boyfriend used to take me out to dinner on Thursdays but not anymore. Now he religiously has lessons with Sean on a weekly basis, and I’m left watching Netflix at home, alone and hungry. Or eating ramen. But still alone. And my boyfriend has improved so much since beginning his weekly lessons, that now he even spends his weekends beating his friends and taking their money cause they’re boys and of course they bet money on who wins.
So, I took a lesson with Sean to make sure he wasn’t cheating on me with this great «Sean». I’m a beginner golfer, I started learning in May. Sean has a variety of learning tools in his arsenal, from crutches to a rotating board, but the crown jewel of his teaching artillery is the sophisticated swing analysis computer. He can capture video of your swing, play it in slow motion, and draw lines of where your spine is supposed to be. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use it because I have a phobia of being filmed/​photographed, but he was able to accommodate me anyways.
From just a 20 minute lesson, I learned that in all this time, the entire three months of my lifelong golf career, no one told me I needed to move my lower body when I swing. Wow. Maybe I won’t quadruple bogey anymore. Mind blown. Go to Sean. Maybe if he has too many appointments, my boyfriend can finally feed me on Thursdays…

Sean is an awesome instructor! I started off with a perpetual bad swing and Sean has been patiently reversing my bad habits week after week. He’s picked up on my learning habits and has been teaching me the mechanics and techniques of a proper golf swing accordingly. Very thorough in explaining everything! I recommend him with high regards!

Sean is the best instructor I have ever seen. I have taken many lessons from different golf instructors in the past and Sean is by far the best one. Before I took lesson from him I had thought that my golf swing was okay, but just one lesson with him I’ve learned that I was far away from a good golf swing. Sean works with your pace, and teaches you step by step. His instructions are very easy to understand. He will fix every little detail of your swing. Sean understanding of a perfect golf swing is very logical and in my definition it’s very scientific as well. The way he explains the steps are very easy to apply. Sean is one of the best instructor and he is very understanding, he won’t push you to do something you can’t do but rather teach you steps to get there. The way he breaks down the steps to a swing makes it very easy to understand. I highly recommend Sean to anyone, of any age or skill level, who wants to better their game in golf and get a perfect swing every time.

Sean is a very patient instructor with my son. I really appreciat all the techniques that you have showing him. Now he really enjoy playing golf. Thank you Sean for all your advises.

He is the lead instructor @Whittier Narrows GC. He uses an awesome swing analysis computer which shows you exactly what you’re doing. He’s patient and willing to work with your type of swing. Very good instructor if you ask me!

My game has been up and down for the last couple of years because I haven’t had the time to play. I started practicing again and decided to take lessons from Sean to make my shots better and more consistent. After one lesson, I learned that I developed bad swing habits through the years. With Sean’s coaching, swing analysis equipment and teaching tools, my swing and shots have improved. The practice facility at Monterey Park GC is also very nice and modern.

Lessons with Sean have been extremely productive and helpful to say the least !
Ive even surpassed some of my experienced golfer friends :) they ask me who Ive been seeing for golf instructions Me having absolutely no golf experience :) i just act coy cause i dont want all my friends flocking to My instructor filling up all his time slots and surpassing me so easily:) Ive finally decided to share the wealth, and give Sean the open credit he deserves.
He knows how a proper swing should look and feel like and damn it he wont give up on you. I feel like Tiger Woods having Hank Haney on speed dial knowing Sean has my back. No matter any slight twist or lack he can spot my fault in any stage of my game. I leave every lesson a better player, true story !
It can be extremely tiring and difficult to find a professional instructor who knows what their talking about, really takes pride and cares about their students game. Ive made it easy for you.

Taking a lesson with Sean was cool. Having the monitor was extremely helpful. A monitor doesn’t lie! He had some helpful tips for me to try and execute a flatter swing. Definitely very useful.

i never play golf before, but my boyfriend convince me to take some lesson, so i met Sean, after a couple of lesson, i start having more fun, Sean was very patient with all his student, i keep on making the same mistake, but it did not border him, he will remind me every time, i will highly recommend him, no matter u are a beginner or advance player

Tow years ago, i was playing so bad i almost gave up golf, until one day i met Sean, after i saw his beautiful athletic golf swing, i decided start taking lesson from him and wow what a different it make, he show me what i am doing wrong with his Golf swing analysis machine and try to correct me with all different kind of exercise, and my game improved, and i have start having a lot of fun at the golf course, i learn how to hit half, ¾ and full swing and i learn how to control my distance. My driving distance improve from 220 to 250 yard, So far my best score is 4 over, all is because if Sean, it could be better if i could dedicate more time to practice, Thanks You Sean !!! You are the Best !!!
