We have transformed, remodeled and renovated a beautiful European Victorian inn to splendor and comfort. Sunsets beyond belief right from your bed or on your deck. 900 to 1200 sq ft of home away from home. Included is breakfast at the Montara Café & Bakery right onsite. Breakfast in bed anyone? History

Established in 2011.

Circa late 1800“s built as a private family mansion and then converted to a hotel. Ocean View Inn covets a rich history for many occasions, reasons and decades. Recently, with the possibility of destruction. It was saved to continue the on-​going history that the inn has experienced. Incorrectly known as a roadhouse, this European building served as a high tea gathering place for society and events in the early 1900’s. Throughout the years with its changing ownership it served as a resting place for train workers, service men, bootleggers and the like. With over 4 decades of returning guests, it was apparent that this unique inn stay a permanent landmark for Montara, California coastal community. A place for surfers, writers and artist in the 60’s, it became an apartment building in the 70’s. With its current restoration, transformation and renovations, its glorious once again with an emphasis of maintaining it’s lively history and feel.
