Very friendly and accommodating staff. The optometrists are helpful and knowledgeable as well. I have issues with dry eyes and they have been very helpful and patient in helping me find the right contact lenses. Thank you!

I’ve been a loyal client of vision quest for many years. I’ve referred this establishment to all my family and friends everyone has been satisfied with their service and products. The staff are super friendly, professional, overall customer support is spot on. I just this love this place, from Dr. Kim, John, Kevin, and the front office.

I’ve been here for 10 years or more. Love Dr. Kim and her staff. The selection is fantastic. Love the new Tom Ford and Toms case. So glad they added those since I last came. The ladies behind the desk always seem to be so happy. The one with the glasses always has a smile whenever I come in. The boy with the white hair streak is so helpful. His adjustments always make my glasses fit 10x better! I definitely recommend them to all my friends!

I went to this place to adjust my frames and an unprofessional employee behind the counter did not adjust them and insisted that nothing could be done to fix my frame. I asked what other alternatives where available and he insisted I should buy a new frame. The adjustments were minor and he failed to provide any assistance and stated he did not have the tools on site to adjust them. I will never come back to this place and would not recommend to friends and family.

Very bad experience my husband bought a pair or glasses changed his mind when we went to return it was a pain they said they where worn of course he tried them on. So they discounted 30 dollars wtf and when I asked to see the same exact pair to see the difference they said they didn’t have. To too off I paid with cash and they have me a check… Please beware this place!!! Unilocal erased my review pec aide it was inappropriate how stupid they must not have liked me sharing the truth with their customers.

I really like coming for my annual exam with Dr. Yamashiro. It’s been 4 years with her. She and her staff are super friendly and helpful.

4−16−15 Last week we stopped in to see what the office looked like and how we would be treated. Since we were pleased with the frame selection, office presentation and friendliness of the staff we decided we would make appointments to have exams. Today we were greeted when we entered the lobby. Our pre-​exam testing was done professionally and efficiently. Dr. Kim was wonderful! The optician was detailed, professional and knew our insurance inside and out. All of our fees were explained before any exam or sale was completed. We accepted the offer of an itemized receipt and while one front office staff member worked on that another took our payment and provided a simpler receipt. This thoughtfulness was an example of the attitude of this office, 1– they make every effort to be considerate of their patients and 2– they work as a team to assist each other. I gave them a 5 even before receiving our glasses or making sure all goes well with our insurance because I feel confident all will go smooth.

Love this place. Appointments are always quick and painless, Dr. Mariko D. Yamashiro has seen myself, husband and two young children. Her bedside manner is second to none and she is very straightforward when discussing sensitive health issues. Facility is clean and staff is relatively friendly. I have scored some great sunglasses, when they’ve had their mega discount sale on stock and designer items — I would highly recommend this place.

So, first of all this place is super expensive. I paid extra $ 200 to get the bells n whistles (thinner lens, glare free n what not) for my glasses. The eye exam itself (contact lens $ 60 n eye glasses-​not sure) was expensive. Picked up my glasses n realized the prescription was wrong n the girl couldn’t get my glasses to fit (although she tried 4 times). I wish I would’ve gone to costco, instead of wasting my $ there. No pair of BRAND new glasses should look/​choose like this.

Mixed feelings about this place.
I have never used VSP vision before and got it through my employer. I wear glasses on occasion and wear a pretty light prescription. I finally decided to get a new pair since I get $ 135 off each year with my insurance, which also covers the exam.
Making an appointment was easy because there were so many time slots and days available.
Dr. Kim was super nice and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to help me choose frames that I would like.
What I didn’t like about this place was the staff. They seemed young and inexperienced. While in the waiting room, they were awfully chatty with each other at the front desk. I understand having a lax work environment, but also keep a professional appearance.
I given a pick up date of 7 – 10 business days. On the 10^th day, I get a call telling me that the person adjusting my frames messed up and that they would have to order a new pair from the manufacturer. They told me that the pair I had chosen was on back order and would not be available to ship until the 25^th (today was the 6^th). I was obviously very frustrated. The staff was apologetic, but offered nothing to help alleviate the situation except inform me that I could come in to pick out a different pair if I didn’t want to wait.
Working in customer service, I understand the importance of making sure the customer feels like they’ve gotten something back for a delay that they were not at fault for. I would’ve at least assured that I would try to expedite the order or offer some kind of incentive like 5% off my next frames purchase.
I chose to wait for the frames to be back in stock, because I spent forever picking ones that fit my round face and flat nose.
In the end, they were ready for pick up 10 days early, but I didn’t find out til the day they were done.
I am not sure if they expedited the request or what. I can only assume that the manufacturer found some frames in stock and sent them out earlier than expected.
I won’t need glasses for another 1 – 3 years, so I don’t know if I would come back here.

When my longtime optometrist retired recently, I decided to give this place a try. I wish I’d chosen better. The optometrist herself is friendly and seems fine; but I’m unimpressed with the staff, who seem kind of flippant.
After my eye exam, I was talked into getting a new «better» brand of extended-​wear contacts (more expensive too, of course). Trouble is, after a only week or so, they began to irritate my eyes. I complained about this, but could not get a refund. So after the six-​month supply was close to running out, I called and asked if I could go back to my old brand. I was told that I could, but would need to re-​take my eye exam! Which of course means I’d have to pay for that again too. When I asked why, I was given a vague answer. So they basically forced me into either taking another exam, or getting another six-​month supply. So I opted for the latter, which was less expensive. You can bet, when these run out, (which should be sooner than six months, since I can’t wear the contacts for their entire two-​week lifespan), and when I get a replacement pair of glasses, I’ll be looking for another optometrist.

Great place. My husband and I recently moved here, but miss our optometrist we had previously used. The reviews for Vision Quest are what they seem. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and Dr. Kim was great! They set us up with new glasses for my husband and Dr. Kim recommended daily contacts for me, which I didn’t think I could wear because of my horrible prescription. Highly recommend, though because I work in health care, I noticed the dust on the artificial plants and the tops of the cases. But the equipment was clean and they took the time to clean after each patient. A little bit of dust won’t prevent me from returning though, very satisfied.

My husband and I have been coming here for the past 5 years. I am always impressed by their customer service every time! The staff is always always so helpful. I love that my contacts are usually ready for pick-​up the next business day from when I order.
Convenient location and the yummy places to eat in the plaza is also a plus!

My family and I have been going here for the past four years or so, and have received nothing but the best service. Very professional, I highly recommend Vision Quest.

The boyf and I have been coming here for a couple of years now. John, the manager is great, and is willing to help answer any questions. Staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Kim is my optometrist and she’s been great too.
I mostly come here for contact lenses and the boyf gets his glasses here. Never had any big issues.
Personally, it’s always better to make an appointment, but I’ve been a walk-​in before and it was fine.

After reading up on a few Optometrists in my area and looking at reviews here I settled on Vision Quest for my checkup and new glasses. While I wish I could rave the way others have, I just can’t.
Lets start with the positive. The doctor who saw me was very good and thorough. I wasn’t rushed and she took the time to find out about my family history and made some recommendations that I was grateful for.
Lets move on to the mediocre. The person who did the initial pressure test, field test, and retinal scan seemed a bit out of it (no focus, couldn’t get his act together, seemed high if you ask me) but I chalked that up to him probably being new. The person who helped me with the frames… Well I would like to say he helped me with the frames but until it came time to tally up the bill he really didn’t seem to give a damn one way or another what I was doing.
Now to the bad. Which ever lab they sent my prescription to were constantly on the stall. Constantly had a different excuse as to why my glasses weren’t ready and it took two weeks for me to get my glasses which are a single vision set to mainly correct astigmatism and not THAT strong. When my glasses finally came in the woman who was in the office wasn’t at all interested in making sure my glasses fit properly. She practically tossed my glasses at me. Her answer to everything was «uh huh» and only changed that tune when it came time to pay the balance due for my glasses. In addition the effort it took to get through on the phone to the office was entirely to much (calling every ten minutes for three hours straight) and the fact that the staff never called me back when they said they would, have all made for a not so good experience.
The sole reason I MIGHT go back and the sole reason for the three star rating is the Dr. who, after it was all said and done is the one and only positive experience with Vision Quest.

The good folks at Vision Quest called me this afternoon and said I could pick up my new glasses. I drove on over after work and got ‘em. That was pretty fast. One week, as promised.
I can see! I can SEEEEEEEEE!

I have been coming here for all my vision needs for the past year. What the store lacks in size, it definitely makes up for in service.
I have purchased both glasses and contacts from here and I haven’t encountered any problems. Even though the store looks small, there are still PLENTY of choices in frames. The only difficulty was choosing which pair I wanted! Thankfully the technicians were able to help pick out ones I really like. I wear contacts most of the time but I do like to have some spare glasses, just in case. I even brought in my old frames to have the lenses changed with no problems! The technicians were patient, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The doctor was also very nice and easy to understand. She has very personable nature that puts you right at ease.
The entire experience was easy and fast. I pretty much breezed through a couple exams (first being a «pretest» where I just sat there and looked at a little tree and the second being the actual eye exam where I sat there and looked at little — and big — letters). The longest part was choosing the frames. Then next thing I know, my glasses (both of them) and contacts were ready for me to pick up!
I would definitely come back here for my yearly exams and contacts.
There are no complaints about price or any of that matter. They were pretty reasonable and comparable to my old optometrist in Arcadia.
Boo-​ness: Not much. It’s as good as an optometry can be!
