Robeks Juice

So I went to Robeks for an Acai bowl. Now as for flavor it’s fairly sweet but still good. But… The price… NO THANK YOU! It is a tiny bowl for the price you’re paying. Usually Acai bowls come loaded with fruits. This bowl only comes with banana and granola. I was really disappointed in how much I spent for the amount that I got. I won’t go back for an Acai bowl. I’ll just stick to my usual places. 3 stars cuz I was being nice.

This place has similar Jamba Juice vibes but their menu is way better. There is so much more variety and they have a pretty cool concept where you can turn any smoothie into a bowl. I like how they have juices and just not smoothies. Their granola they put in their bowls are good. I feel like for the price you’re paying for a bowl, they should give you more fruit or more of the blended contents. I could get more for my money elsewhere. All the prices are a little higher than Jamba Juice. If I had to choose between this place and Jamba Juice, I would have to go with Jamba Juice.

This place is awesome! The employees are so nice and friendly and make great fresh squeezed juices! Some of them even remember my name which is very nice. A guy took my juice by accident and they gave me a free giftcard for next time because of it. Very good service and great juices!

Pray you dont get «Angelica». Rude and unpleasant. Will complain to management soon.

Seriously I’ve been here twice in the last 2 days as I sit here in the parking lot at 9:20 am and write this review… I love this place but my review is on service!!! Every time I come in the ladies do not speak and I come after dance fusion so I’m here when it opens and is empty. There was one man ahead of me and I get the dumb look with the half smile and no words spoken when I approach the register. I can’t look too crazy I’m in work out attire… Then I told the girl who made my Tropikale thank you once she called me to collect my drink and she didn’t even tell me you’re welcome, she just walked off like dude WTF??? which is what drove me to write this review because that’s not cool!!!

Pretty bomb spot to get a fresh juice. Got a med with ice and it came in a large cup. They also sell the champion juicer there.

I have to admit their juices do taste really good. They’re not too sweet (like jumba juice or Blend it Healthy at the block next to it). I got the slim berry and it’s surprisingly how unsweetened this drink is. At the same time it still retains the fruity berry flavor and a subtle soy milk flavor (my favorite)! A little expensive but it is an indulgence.

Well this review has been a long way in the making, we happen to be juiceaholics, we have tried from the Whole Foods (20 minutes) if you want to wait $ 12.00 juice to the $ 6.99 fresh squeezed oj at Jamba and more recently the Evergreen at Robeks, its absolutely amazingly good and reasonably priced at $ 7.99,the fresh carrot juice is great too. The girls here are always smiling and greeting you, and they are all pretty to boot! Very clean atmosphere and always with the a/​c at full blast, oh so refreshing! And one more thing: I love the fact that they are open until 10 PM for a late night pick me upper healthy drink.

Way better than Jamba juice! I also love that they take my phone orders when ever I’m running late. Love love love Robeks!

Robeks is a healthy alternative when you are on the go or don’t have time for a meal!

I come about one every week or once every other week for the past several months.
The service is pretty good most of the time. There have been a few hiccups in terms of being organized when the place get a little busy, but it’s nothing major to cry about.
I usually get the Tropi-​Kale (spelling?) smoothie. It’s delicious. I always get this.
One time I made the mistake of being adventurous by trying something new; that didn’t go too well. Lol.

The cinnamon pear bliss is the bomb!
This place is better than jambs juice. The fruit tastes more fresh!

I’ve always been a fan of Robeks. This location has been here for years and has yet to let me down any time I’ve stopped by to grab a drink. Though it’s not on the menu anymore I love their Banzai Blueberry smoothie!

As with most of my reviews, I like to include price and value of what I believe I am receiving. Personally, I went for their standard smoothie as it was the least expensive and still had the quality fruits in it. The smoothie was great and I do wish I could have smoothies all day everyday, but unfortunately I do need some meats. The atmosphere is friendly and the time to make the smoothie was pretty quick. All in all a great place to grab a smoothie, only downgrade for the star is the price. Honestly, this should be a 4.5 star.

*Angry banana barrista alert* So Ive been coming to Robeks for a while now and have never used the rewards card or app. Time after time they asked and asked and asked me to get the app to get the rewards instead of using the card. Now that I did get the app and choose to use the rewards, the angry slurpee slanging barrista treats you like a slave driver because now she has to press ONE more button on the screen than before. Hey banana barrista, it’s not my fault you slang slurpees for a living (delicious fruit shakes for the record), not my fault.

I’m bummed to do this, but I’m lowering my rating to 3.5 stars due to their bowls.
First off, for the price… NOT WORTH IT. Over $ 6 for a tiny froyo sized bowl. REALLY?! Secondly, it was WAAAAAY too sweet. I’m chasing it with a ton of water to clear my throat.
Guess I’ll stick with the juices only from now on. I’ve never tried the smoothies, but I’m going to guess that it’s very sweet as well.

My usual stop for green juice and it’s helluva lot cheaper than the WholePaychecks juice bar ($ 5+ for the 32 oz cup compared to Robek’s).
What gives it 5 stars is the awesome friendly outgoing staff — they treat me right and I tip whenever I have dollar bills on me. I came right before closing one night and missed my green juice (they were taking the juicer apart to clean). Because I missed my green juice, the girl gave me a small discount on my smoothie and told me to simply call earlier so they could get it ready for me when I was able to swing by.

I have to say that Robeks is better than Jamba Juice and Juice It Up… so as far as juice places go… this one get all my stars. My opinion is that it somehow tastes less artificial than either of them. Freshly made juice is great for everyone, and if you are not blessed not have your own juicer, like poor olé me, you come to get your juice!
Now…this gets pricey. I usually order the largest size and could get up to roughly $ 8! Just a tad bit ridiculous! However, given the situation, I’d be more than happy to shell over that amount for a yummy and healthy drink!
This location shares a parking lot with Baja Fresh, Oto Oto, Philly’s Best, FedEx and others. I like to run into Baja Fresh, order food, then run out to Robeks and order my drink right away, and sometimes even run over to FedEx to drop off packages! Usually both places finishes my order around the same time! Get everything done within 15 minutes and I’m back at work. Beware, since it shares a lot, the parking lot can get pretty packed during lunch hour!

My absolute favorite is the Infinite Orange. I just love smoothies with OJ in them!
Anyway, I used to be a Jamba Juice or even Juice It Up person, but I’ve been going to Robeks a lot more frequently over the past few years.
This Robeks is pretty consistent! At other places, I’ll order my usual drinks and they just don’t make it the same every time (too watery, chunky ice, too sour etc.)
I’m on their email list and receive coupons all the time ($ 1 off, 20% off your entire purchase etc).
Since receiving the coupons, they do try to promote their new items so I’ve tried them. I didn’t really like the smoothie with dates or almond milk. (I had to force myself to drink that one). I also tried their smoothie with Watermelon and Pineapple, but wasn’t quite fond of that one either (even though I like both those fruits).
This particular store also carries sandwiches made from Something Healthy (which is located on Shamrock & Huntington in Monrovia)
I also like their Acai Bowls and Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies so if I don’t have time for an actual meal, I’ll just get one of those to go!
