Smoked Fusion Catering

My usual place to cater our office holiday lunch closed down, so I was in need of a new place that would put together something nice, yet be a super reasonable price due to cheapskate budgets. Found this place through a Unilocal search. Glad I did find it! They were willing to do a last minute lunch for 20 people.
My meal was chicken piccata, mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies, and rolls. It came out to $ 13 a person, and everyone was full and satisfied. The chicken piccata used chicken thighs, and it was so moist and flavorful. Everyone loved it. The sauteed veggies were nicely done with a nice variety of different veggies including asparagus. The mashed potatoes had a good texture, but I thought they needed much more salt. But then again, its easy for me to add salt and for those who don’t like salt, maybe it was perfect for them. I thought it was odd that gravy was not included with the mashers, but maybe I have to request that. I don’t use gravy a lot, so I didn’t mind, but some peeps need the gravy. We have a vegetarian in the office, and they had some nice veggie options for her. She picked a tofu entrée.
Service was great. Delivery was a bit late, but they called to let me know.
I will definitely be using this catering service again.

We just used Smoked Fusion for our wedding. Adrianne is such a pleasure to work with. She is super responsive, professional, and just one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of not only working with but just meeting in general. Her and her husband are just the cutest. We served cheese and fruit appetizer platters, tri tip with mashed potatoes, salad, and corn bread. I also worked with Adrianne to put together our guest favors. We used their rub, and she made them so adorable and saved me a lot of work. Everything not only looked amazing but tasted amazing. We were lucky enough to actually eat at our wedding, and thoroughly enjoyed the plates. We also received nothing but amazing feedback from all of our guests. My wedding was absolutely phenominal, and smoked fusion played a huge part of that. The only almost thing I can mention, is to make sure to get extra BBQ sauce, even if its an extra charge, BC man, its worth it.

VERY impressed with Smoked Fusion! They were an excellent choice to cater my grandmother’s 90^th birthday party! Extremely professional, a joy to work with, and went above and beyond. My aunt and I were both in contact with Adrianne and we both were extremely pleased with her customer service – quick and cordial replies, and timely follow-​ups. The food was delicious and we only heard good things from our party guests! We had BBQ tri tip, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, baked beans, and salad for dinner and it was all great. The tri tip was tender and my favorite! They were flexible with timing and stayed well past what we paid for. They cleared plates for our guests and greeted everyone with a smile. Their extra Halloween decorations and signage earned them extra points in my book :) Their pricing is competitive with other local caterers but their service is what sets them apart.

Smoked Fusion Catering did an amazing job at my wedding. Adrianne was very quick to respond to any questions I had the days leading up to my wedding. The presentation was amazing! Everything was set up beautifully. They went above and beyond! My guests commented on how delicious the food was and how well it was presented. I am so happy I found them because they truly believe in making their customers happy. I will definitely hire them again for any future gatherings.

My husband and I hired them for our going away party on Sept. 5^th and they did not disappoint. They were very professional at responding quickly and very helpful (especially since I asked a lot of questions haha). On the day of they worked very hard and the presentation was outstanding! I wish I took a picture. Seriously food was amazing. We had a lot of left overs and ended up eating some the night after and again it was great. I would recommend them for anything! The bbq chicken, macaroni and cheese, and baked beans were my favorite! Craving them now as I type this haha again they are great! Thank you sooo much for the amazing service!

Smoked Fusion Catering is a dream to work with. They recently catered our intimate wedding and we couldn’t be more pleased. The food was delicious, the staff was very professional, and Adrianne is just amazing. Our menu included: chicken lollipops, pigs in a blanket, and cucumber rolls as appetizers; and dinner included their finger-​liking good bbq pulled pork, potato salad, and coleslaw. Our master bbq connoisseur was very impressed! Don’t hesitate to give them a try.

I ran into your Unilocal.You fed us at KAP last month. The Ribs! No sauce needed for those ribs and i like that. Everything was real good. Your bbq trailer was very cool. Hope they bring you back soon.

I was looking for some pulled bbq pork and chicken and maybe a few sides. Our theme was back yard bbq setting so I wanted something that wasn’t a lot of fuss. Smoked Fusion was excellent. They priced me exceptionally well for what I needed. I ended up with a few trays of the bbq pulled chicken and the pulled pork and we also ordered the potato salad and baked beans. Everything was very home made! So delicious! I had a ton of compliments and lots of people wondering who did the food which I was happy to refer Smoked Fusion.
Very professional — quick responses to email — on time delivery.
I will be spreading this name around and we will DEFINITELY be using them for future events!

Good food, good service and easy to work with. They worked well with me when planning a party in a different state. Worked very well with food allergies.

I believe in supporting local and small businesses, and it pains me to have to come down on this company. Based on the other Unilocal reviews I will give them the benefit of the doubt that it may have been an off week, or they were not accustomed to serving such a large group. I also cannot speak for the circumstances or budget that was negotiated, but I can talk about the terrible experience we had with the food.
The company that I work for hired them to cater for a week, to serve around 100 people. The staff/​owners appeared to be prompt and were polite, but every day the food was overcooked and served cold. The mixed green salad that was served at every meal was pre-​dressed, I assume for convenience, but it left it soggy, overdressed, and unappetizing.
I also do not know how much distance they had to travel with the cooked food, but it’s possible that the food ended up cold and overcooked every day due to spending too much time in the warming dishes. But I would also contend that a professional catering company should compensate for that.
In detail, the sandwiches served the first day had meat of pitiful quality and quantity. The rolls were so stale, dry, and hard that they could’ve been carved off of an Egyptian king. If I threw that bread to a duck, I would have expected to be bitten out of protest. The majority of the people that ate the food simply threw the bread away and ate what little meat there was to be had. For the rest of the afternoon people complained and joked about it. The desert was a cheesecake mousse that I enjoyed, but most people did not.
The evening meal was BBQ. While I would rate the chicken a 3 of out 5, it may be an inflated score based on how overcooked and cold the ribs were. An apparent oversight left us eating without utensils. The vegetarian option was a piece of tofu served in a roll and labeled as «smoked tofu» that our vegetarians compared to eating out of an ashtray. The desert was a pumpkin pie mousse that I again enjoyed, but most people did not. The rest of the evening people complained and joked about the food again.
Both the chicken and rice pilaf served the second day was cold and overcooked again, but also lacked depth of flavor. I think just about everyone skipped the rolls provided. The dessert was a tiramisu mousse that was soggy on the bottom. I understand that prepping that many desserts must be difficult, but there was far too much liquid under the mousse that should have been poured off prior to adding the mousse. Some people skipped lunch and opted to pay out of pocket for it instead of eating the provided food. Guests that we brought in to participate in the event were offered free lunch but it was suggested they buy something from outside instead. I do not believe I heard any positive comments related to the food that day. The nearby roadside taco stand did receive a lot of business though, so at least a different local business was supported.
The pasta on the third day was dished out conservatively, but was also overcooked, soggy, and cold. I did think that the meatballs had a good flavor, but they were also cold and each diner was only served a single one. The breadsticks looked good at first but were actually soggy and flavorless. I ate the peanuts I saved in my laptop bag from my flight at the beginning of the week instead of finishing my food. I believe that more than half of my coworkers paid out of pocket for lunch this day and the supervisors agreed to cover the costs of lunch on day 4 just so that we would not have to eat the provided food.
Our vegan staff members stated that they had little to no options for food, and in hindsight may have been the lucky to eat something else those days. If I was to hire the company after my experience it would be to cater my murder, just so that whoever killed me would have to eat that food.
Please improve.

Smoked Fusion was the best decision we made for our family event. Adrianne and her husband were very prompt and professional! The food was delicious and set up so beautifully. Look forward to hiring them again for our next event!

Delicious! They did a fantastic job for my 40^th birthday. Adrianne and her husband did an amazing job. Everything was so flavorful, moist and so good. The desserts were delicious as well. S’mores cupcakes, vanilla Teepee cupcakes and apple cinnamon whoopie pies. Delicious. They worked with my Peter Pan themed party and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Everyone at my party loved the food. Smoked Fusion Catering are professional and wonderful. They helped make my party at hit! The pulled pork was amazing as well as everything else. Thank you Smoked Fusion Catering so much!

Accommodation is subjective, and Smoked Fusion knows a variety. With little appetite, they accommodated my hunger with healthy appetizers. 5 dishes out of 5 were simple and effective. I tasted not only a flavorful blend but also love. I will always recommend their services.

I just used them for my sister’s funeral reception and they were terrific! The food was delicious and Adrianne was soooo nice and accommodating. Her décor set up was perfect, we just gave her a brief description of my sister and what she liked. I’m still enjoying the left over cheesy Mac & cheese!

Adrianne and Louis catered a company luncheon a while back for approximately 120 people. Everything was set up on time, the food was really delish, and all of the employees were happy! They were even able to accommodate the couple of vegetarian employees. Definitely recommend these guys!

I used Smoked Fusion when throwing an engagement party for my good friend last weekend. There were about 35 people there and Adrianne handled all of our food needs with ease. Everyone’s favorite was the tiramisu cups. It made me laugh to see a room full of adults going back for second helpings while grinning like a child getting away with something. Oh, and the heart shape on top in powdered sugar was a nice touch :)

Dealing with a small budget and a specialized menu for a needy film crew and cast, out in the middle of the desert, Smoked Fusion Catering delivered a masterful performance.
Not only did they have to work with a small budget (that kept changing right up to the week of the shoot) and create a menu that a professional film crew and cast would be happy with, they even delivered and kept the food ready while driving hours out of their way. Not only once, but for two days in a row.
Great to work with and suited our needs to a T. Would definitely use again for another film shoot.

They recently catered our casual party for 30 guests and we had a good experience. On time set up and great food presentation. Adrianne is personable and very easy to work with. I will definitely consider using their service again. HIghly recommended!
