History

Established in 2011.

Epiphany of the Palate is owned by Chef Nicol, a current Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in California who has always had a desire to kick start her culinary dream. She was born in Vietnam, grew up in Australia and moved to California in her early 20’s.

Chef Nicol graduated from The International Culinary School in 2011, being one of the top students in her class while working full time and looking after her family. She was lucky enough to train under a very talented Chef Kevin Luzande at Playa Rivera in Los Angeles owned by renowned Chef John Sedlar. Chef Nicol also has experience in baking and pastry, learnt through working at her parent’s patisserie.

Chef Nicol’s curiousity and passion for everything that is involved in the culinary world, as well as her diverse cultural background, allows her to create unique dishes infused with a multitude of flavors and ingredients from around the world. Her food is robust in flavors and very appealing to the eye.
