Alitalia Pizzeria

This is now our pizza place. We were going to Papa Murphy’s, but sadly they closed the Monrovia location. We were happy to find Alitalia. We order their special and it is very tasty. We highly recommend !!!

Wow! The wings are sooooo good at this place. I’m not sure if they bake their wings but they turn out very tender. By far the best wings I’ve tried in the area. Pizza is good. I like to order a Greek salad for dinner to have with my wings and it’s a good portion. Service is very fast and friendly. Love it! CASH ONLY

You absolutely cannot beat this pizza or the service!!! They are always friendly and courteous on the phone and always get the order right. The delivery is always when they say, and you get the same friendly service to your door!

Solid local pizza spot. Family owned and friendly staff. Not much seating but crispy crust and consistent quality. This is a place that grows on you and I’m a fan.

definitely a hole in the wall kinda of place. I randomly stopped one day after being stuck at the intersection light and had looked over to my left. Pulled up, went in, was warmly greeted by the guys, ordered and went home. Pizza was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised.
I’ve gone back! The crust bottom crisp, the actual crust and bread, perfect, the tomato sauce (I believe it’s house made!) and the mozzarella cheese. such simple flavors but so amazing together. Sometimes that’s all it takes, good quality ingredients. I can taste the difference, for sure! Cash only.

We’ve been ordering from Alitalia for a few years now, and have never had less than a great pizza! It’s tasty, delivered hot, and the service is great! I don’t think you can do better anywhere for the price. We order about once a week.

Super yum! I originally ordered a Margherita pizza but the guy told me the basil he had wasn’t as fresh as usual so he didn’t want to serve it to me. I can respect that! We just got a big olé cheese pizza with garlic and were very happy with it. Nice thin crust and a great price.

This is the best pizza in SGV !! Not only is the pizza delicious but the owners/​servers are the nicest people in the wirld. It’s like going to a friends house for dinner. We’ve been a customer for years and never a problem. CASH ONLY

Large pepperoni pizza was super greasy and just not good at all. The texture was that of microwave reheated pizza. Already discouraged by the looks of the pizza, I took one bite and was immediately disappointed. Mind you, I’ve been on a health kick lately and were craving some good pizza and today was our cheat day. Correction, a waste of a cheat day.
Dozen wings (requested well/​crispy) were soggy and horrible too. For sure frozen wings.
I was STARVING! Usually anything tastes amazing when you’re famished. I really really wanted to love this place. I like supporting small local businesses and even though I love other pizzerias, I decided to give this place a go because of its great Unilocal reviews. Unfortunately I’ll never recommend this place to the community. Food was horrible.

This is a small Pizzeria, The Pizza taste real good.
They make gourmet Pizza. The owner is real friendly. It made me a repeat customer.

This is by far the best pizza in Monrovia, Arcadia and Duarte combined. We love the pizza here. So far we have tried the Santa Fe pizza, Margherita, and just cheese. Owner allows for add-​ons and substitutions. That seems to be rare anymore. I like the sauce a lot. I’m also usually not a huge fan of crust but I like the crust on Alitalia’s pizzas. It is a bit chewy and not too thin or too thick. It’s just right!
We ordered the cheese and came home and ate it with Sriracha sauce. Weird maybe but really tasty!
Side note: The owner used to be a professional soccer player.

Very good pizza. Source is very flavorful. Called for delivery and was greeted by a super friendly gentleman. Ordered half pepperoni and half sausage/​mushroom pizza large. 16.50. Delivered in 30 minutes. Pipping hot and yummy. Hubs fav pizza. I like a thinner crust — but their crust isn’t really thick though. It was a very good pizza — oh ya the delivery guy was super nice too!

Yummy! Just very well prepared pizza and you can taste the quality and care put into their product.

Everything I’ve ever tried here has always been great & made correctly! To me that’s very important. All the guys that work here are great, friendly & cook everything to perfection. Real italian family feel at this place, hard working guys that you can tell care about their work & the food their putting out compared to chain pizza places.
Pricing is clearly higher then any chain in the area but it worth it trust me!
Everything here is a must try. Clearly the pizza is perfection! Plenty of great toppings we are meat eaters so we always go with sausage and meatball. Haha.

The place is not in good shape when you walk in, the decoration is kind of dusty but we aren’t there for the ambiance after all it is more of a take out/​delivery place. They have a tv in their if you eat here. There is only two tables with 4 chairs each. The owners been there for 27 years. We got there at closing time, it is best to get here early since they close at 8:00 pm on the weekdays. They said they close at 9:00 for the weekend and that is their late time. The pizza was delicious, not sure if the sausage is good as Casa Bianca like someone wrote in their review but the dough to me is much better than casa bianca pizza it is light airy thin crust that is slightly crisp and alittle chewy and sweet too! Casa Bianca crust Is not airy like autalia. Pricing is almost the same, we ordered a large pepperoni, sausage and jalapeño. The pepperoni was not crispy the the I like it. Other than that it was delicious pizza. I would get this again, I just wish they had a cleaner looking place. They deliver within 3 miles. They told us that they had a contract to make 200 pizza a day for Arcadia schools. They did it for 9 years, 2000 – 2009 so if you went to Arcadia hs, foothill middle, first ave and Dana then you’ll remember the pizza. Cash is best here since they charge $ 1.00 to use plastic. Our there topping large pizza was 15.75.
I liked the pizza but couldn’t give them a 5. 5 is for some place that I could eat ever night for a reasonable price.
