This place is amazing! Their Beef and chicken bowl is out of this world! Owner of this place is very friendly. Outside seating is very breezy. Will definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner.

This is the best fast food in the area. Combo bowl, all chicken, half and half sauce for me.

I’m still mad that I lived in Monrovia for 5 years before I tried B&C. Once I had their curry bowls, I was hooked! Chicken or beef chunks(or both, they have a combo plate) & steamed veggies(cabbage, carrots, broccoli) on a bed of fluffy white rice, garnished with sliced onions & that amazing curry sauce, it is spicy so don’t order it and then complain it’s too hot! That’s their gem & it’s spicy goodness! I like their Teriyaki too but I think they put a little too much so I ask for easy on the rare occasion I skip the curry. They have chicken & beef tacos too and you can add teriyaki or curry sauce upon request topped with lettuce. Tacos are a nice bite, but nothing spectacular. Family owned so service is very friendly, nice couple & sons run it. One of my local spots.

I really wanted to like this place. Partially, it’s based on the positive reviews but mostly that it’s family owned. I was secretly rooting for them to do well even before I pulled into its tiny little parking lot. But alas, I should have known, a place that sells teriyaki and tacos … how great can it be? First, it’s more of a food stand instead of an actual restaurant. There is only outdoor seating by the little lot. Most people take it to go, as I did. The menus are posted on the glass so it’s easy to see, even when there are others already in line. You place your order with the nice lady behind the glass and stand around to wait. Within minutes, the anticipation is met with your food in the bag. We wanted something quick and easy, and since the word Teriyaki is in their name, I ordered one beef and one chicken teriyaki bowl. Both orders looked exactly the same, not exaggerating. Unfortunately, the flavor is not what I expected nor crave. Both orders were heavily smothered with a thick sweet sauce, covering up any char-meat flavor. I used a spoon to scrape off what I can but the syrupy sweetness remains. I felt my sugar level spiking up mid way through. I do see why some people would like this place. It’s catered towards a certain palette, the type that really enjoys chain restaurants like Applebee’s, where most of the dishes are covered by some type of sauce to give it a bold flavor. Not me. I prefer to taste the main ingredient, in this case … the meat. Though it’s very convenient, the owner is super friendly, and it’s a cheap quick meal … I won’t be returning. Food flavor: 2 But bumping it up because the service was friendly and quick.

Although I’ve been here once, I’ve had the chance to try their bean & cheese burrito. I didn’t get a chance to try their teriyaki bowl, I’m sure that is what they are known for. Portion size of the burrito is huge, decent & tasty! They also serve soft tacos if that is your thing. This place has been around for the longest time. Chinese-Cambodian family, nice & down to earth! Please stop by to try if you are ever around the area.

I used to come here a lot back in the day, but I felt their sauce was too strong and the bowls were filled with too much cabbage. The staff is very friendly, but their food is a little pricey and it’s inconvenient that they only take cash.

I have been coming here for years as I work down the street. I love the chicken teriyaki — it is so good! The owners are so nice and really make you feel welcome! The food is always great and the prices are reasonable! Cash only and parking is limited so you often need to park by the houses on the same street. Highly recommend B&C Teriyaki!

Absolutely love love love this spot ! Looks like a corner burger joint but when I got my order, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is their service great, but the curry sauce is absolutely amazing, the teriyaki, phenomenal. I discovered this restaurant with a friend when we drove around looking for food, and I have to say, stumbling upon this area was a happy accident. Will definitely come back for more ! It’s obviously family owned which makes it all the more better, and sadly but understandably, they’re closed on Sundays.

If you like your rice soggy and watery, your veggies somewhat slimy and drenched in thick teriyaki sauce, and your chicken super dry and in large chunks, come here, this place is perf for you.

I thought this place was terrible. I’ve been passing by for years and finally gave it a try and was sorely disappointed. I had the beef and chicken teriyaki combo and the meat was just sub quality. If your in the mood for some quality meat at a decent price, go to Flame Broiler… way worth it.

Tasty! The service is quick, seating & parking is tight. To-go is best. The beef teriyaki is delicious! It’s super tender shredded beef smothered is delicious teriyaki sauce. The curry is also delicious, beware, it’s Hot! But good hot. Great flavor.

All I have to say is… OMGTHATCURRYSAUCE!!! The owner and/our his wife are always there. They are the nicest couple and if you go often enough, they will remember you for years and years. The gentleman owner makes the curry sauce himself every single day. He won’t sell it separately. Trust me. All of these years and there’s no amount of begging that will get me extra without buying a meal. He’s a genius I tell you! Be warned… it’s SPICY! I mean, he’ll ask you if you want the chili sauce and I never say yes. The curry is, in itself, spicy perfection. The prices are very good and the portions are very satisfactory! There is no brown rice but you can get it with just the vegetables and meat. I honestly can’t remember what the teriyaki tastes like. Ever since I found the curry, that’s pretty much all I get. You honestly can’t go wrong when local police and firemen(*hoots and hollers*) frequent a place. They know what’s up. Parking is limited and it looks like a corner burger shack. Street parking is plentiful and Monrovia is so beautiful the walk will do you good. They are closed on Sundays and close when they take vacations(well deserved yet almost never) and close at 830pm on regular nights. Cash only and don’t be the jerk coming at 825pm while they are cleaning up. Call in your order ahead of time if you are crunched on time. They will always have it ready!

Excellent food. B&C is only a few blocks from where I grew up. It’s a place where cops, construction workers and professionals grab lunch. They have been doing fusion since before fusion was hip;) they serve buritos, rice bowls and hybrid Asian dishes, I just call it California food. Their curry is amazing like no other curry you will get anywhere else and it’s hot! Go for the #6.

The service is good, the food, not so much. I had the chicken and beef combo bowl. It filled me up but I only ate it all cause I was starving. The beef is def better than the chicken. Its nothing great though, nothing stood out and im still sitting here and typing this and I already have stomach pains. If you want a real teriyaki bowl go to bmans on huntington and san gabriel blvd. i wont be returning here. Nice try though.

BOMB teriyaki Bowls for Cheap! Unless your a local it’s easy to drive by this place time and time again without thinking much of it but if you want a simple, good, cheap meal this place is the place to go! Outdoor seating, order at the counter– foods whipped up pretty fast it’s perfect for lunch. Food is always tasty & portions are decent for the price you pay. Both the beef and chicken teriyaki hit the spot, old school monrovia joint that you’ll have to check out.
