Meet the Business Owner
Rebecca C.
Business Owner
Anyone (client or not) has the right to post a review. I gently and respectfully discourage this.
The Ethics Code for my profession has guidelines for soliciting testimonials. Many of my clients decide to return to therapy with me at a later date, so I don’t request public testimonials from them.
A key aspect of my service is confidentiality. To provide this, I cannot acknowledge whether someone has been in my care, so I can’t respond to public reviews.
As a licensed professional, I’m dedicated to providing you with effective and competent care. I invite client’s feedback (including concerns or complaints), directly and in-person. This might not always feel comfortable, but talking about your reactions to our process can be important to your success in therapy.
In case of a poor fit, I can help you find a therapist who may be a better match. If you believe a mental health professional has done something harmful, you can make a formal complaint to the person’s state licensing board.
