Gina rescheduled on us several times due to back issues. In the meantime, our Goldendoodle became very matted because she was past due for her appointment. Gina said that she would give us a discount due to the inconvenience. When appointment day came around, everything went as planned. When our dog was close to finishing, Gina called to let me know and further stated that she was going to give me a discount, but that her rates had went up. Why didn’t she state this sooner? I truly believe that she had a difficult time with my dog, as she had a bad grooming experience in the past, and decided that it wasn’t worth the discount. Worse yet? I arrived 15 minutes later to pick up my dog and Gina was gone. There was a helper there to check us out. Very cowardly and very poor business practice. I never fought it, just paid our tab and left. I always wish I would have said something!

We wouldn’t take our St. Bernard anywhere else but to Gina at The Barker Shop. We have tried numerous other places — Petco, Petsmart, etc, etc but those places are like a factory with no sense of real care for your dog. Gina takes really good care of your dog when they are there and treats them as if they are her own. Reasonable priced and does a great job.

Gina loves dogs, and it shows in everything she does. She’s one of the most accomplished groomers I’ve ever met, and not one of the difficult dogs we’ve brought her way has been too much for her. She bends over backwards to make her clients happy and in over 10 years of bringing dogs to her have we never had any problems. Highly recommended!

Gina is great! Her prices are very fair. My dog sheds a TON and she really does a thorough job with the Furminator treatment. You can really tell that she loves the dogs and what she does, which makes all the difference in the world. :)

Gina does a great job. She cares about pleasing the client and giving your pet a great experience. I can’t think of taking our dog anywhere else.

She is friendly, thorough, listens to what you want and actually does it! Imagine that! You can tell she truly loves what she does and treats all of the dogs with kindness and patience. And she’s affordable!
