Of all the things I planned for my wedding, my choice of using Angela Pea Paperie is my only regret. We booked her in May for a March wedding for following year. Shortly after we signed a contract with her, she informed us that she was«taking a break» but that she would still be completing our products. She kept promising that she would have proofs to us «soon,» and they never materialized. There were times where we considered how we would proceed with breaking our contract and coming up with a plan b, because we seriously thought she had no intention of contacting us about our wedding invitations. Then a period of weeks passed where we heard NOTHING from her, despite e-mails, calls, and voicemails to her. The whole process was so nerve-racking that I was beside myself. Here, I had hired a person to complete my wedding stationary to relieve me of one task, and it was causing more grief than if I had done it myself. To make matters worse, through research I discovered that there was nothing really original about her product. She was an Envelopments dealer(beautiful product), and through their website, she had access to their layouts, clip art, etc… Here I thought she had designed the images, which was NOT the case. Finally, we had picked out a few fonts we liked. She explained that she didn’t own them and would not pay for the rights to them since she already owned so many fonts. We ended up buying to fonts ourselves and giving her the rights to use them. I must add that she did produce the products in the end, and our invites and other stationary were beautiful, original, and I loved them; however, we picked out everything ourselves that we could have done directly through Envelopments or another dealer. The owner was terrible at communication and unprofessional, and it caused a lot of heartache for us the whole way through. I strongly recommend NOT using Angela Pea Paperie. In fact, Broadway Paper Company is an Envelopments dealer and now prints invites in-house. I recommend you go there!
