MPG have been so helpful and accomodating to me and my fiancé. I’ve randomly showed up many times and they always patiently and professionally answer my million questions (normal for a bride to be!). Thank you MPG for your patience and warm attitude. Especially Suzie, she is our sales person and she is amazing~~ She is very intuitive and understands customers needs. She was totally attuned to my needs. She also did my hair and makeup, I loved it! Another plus is that Suzie is very knowledgeable about the industry, go see Suzie if you need anything! KK (post production manager), Mrs. Hong, and the other girls were super as well. Needless to say I will be referring my girlfriends!

I took my wedding pictures in this gallery and it was great experience. My husband and I are very satisfied with the whole service and the pictures turns out to be great! I did my makeup, hair and rent the beautiful dresses there, as well as my husband’s tuxedoes. Basically I don’t need to prepare anything. Just show up and wish the weather is good on the wedding day. That’s it! Great gallery and highly recommended!

I am very satisfied with my engagement photo. Jay is a very professional and talented photographer. Maggie is very patient in helping choosing the dress.

We were in this nice studio four times, the first time was for information, the second time was for contract, Suzie and Ms. Hong Jie gave us a very good deal, because my husband really want to take photos in Napa Valley, so we decide spend two days to get pre-​wedding photos, one day in San Francisco, and one day in Napa. Finally, we finished! Ms. Hong Jie is very nice, warm, friendly person, Suzie is our make up artiest, i really like her make up, it is simple, but very beautiful, Gary, haha, our photographer, he is a funny guy, he has many different ideas for photo shooting, and also he has patient. All of them have passion, treat us like family, we highly recommend this studio! Hope see you soon!

My fiancé and I rarely take pictures so we knew we wanted to get nice professional photos taken to celebrate our engagement. Memory Photo Gallery was the perfect one stop shop because they did hair and makeup and had wedding dresses, suits, accessories, etc. for the photo session. Maggie did a great job with hair and makeup and June really worked with me on picking out what I wanted in my photo package. She answered all my questions and overall there was great communication. Jay took such beautiful pictures of us and made it very hard for us to pick our favorites because there were so many to choose from. Even Marco, their son, was a contribution and good helper at the photo session. It was especially convenient that they had a van to drive us to the locations in SF. We are just really impressed with them and glad we chose to get our photos done here. Thanks for eveything Memory Photo Gallery team!

First, we have to thanks Jay, Maggie and June for doing great job for our Wedding photo.
When you come to wedding photo, it’s once of the lifetime experience. There are many of the photo studio in Bay Area and it’s hard to choose which one is best.
We choose Memory Photo because many of my friends had their wedding photo took by Jay and all of them are highly recommend Memory Photo.
Jay and Maggie were professional and helpful. Me and my wife have no talent on photo modeling, but Jay were leading us on how we should post and expression. And the result were beautiful and stylish.
All I can said is, if you want a great engagement and wedding photo album that will make you smile everytime you looking at it. make no other choice but Memory Photo. Highly recommended.

After 2 years, my wife got pregnant in 2013! We came back to Memory Photos for our pregnancy-​baby series shots. So far, we have taken four serious of photos, from my wife’s pregnancy, to baby 5 month old, 1 year old, and 1.5 years old! The experiences were great, they still have the family-​warm environment and patience when taking photos of my cranky babies, and the moments captured, and photo editing were excellent too! Jay, June and Maggie are like friends to us!

We used memory gallery for our engagement photo shoot and have nothing but positive things to say. Working with Jay, June, and Maggie was very delightful. They were very flexible and accommodating with us. We are very pleased with our photos! They did a fantastic job on everything! Jay is a incredible photographer, very passionate and open to any suggestions you have about poses for your pictures. We highly recommend memory gallery for your photography needs!

We chose Memory Gallery based on the Unilocal reviews and the fact I wanted a more asian style type of photography/​makeup. ^^; There seems to be a more dreamy and fun quality about them that I like. We used Memory Gallery for our engagement photos and wedding banquet.
June helped with picking out dresses for the engagement shoot. They have a good variety of dresses both wedding and evening gown type. You can event rent one for your wedding! The wedding dresses are lace up so they can fit a variety of your typical sizes.
We took our engagement photos at the Japanese Tea Garden and SF city hall. They have a company van in which we all went together. Saves time and it way more efficient then taking 2 cars. Maggie did my hair and make up for the engagement photos. The makeup is on the heavier side (which I know photographs better). If I had to do it again, I would probably have the makeup a little lighter since my hubby actually likes seeing my freckles. ^^ Don’t get me wrong though, Maggie did a great job with the hair and makeup. I got a lot of compliments on how great I looked. While waiting around at the tea gardens, a bunch grade school kids came by (probably on their way to the Cal Academy) and the girls said I looked like a princess. How cute. :) You could tell she really cared how the hair and makeup turned out. She was very focused while she was doing my hair and makeup.
Jay took great pictures and Maggie was super helpful with posing for the photos. Knowing Chinese definitely helps but they both speak English.
We got our engagement photos and absolutely loved them. We had a difficult choosing the ones we wanted. I even ended up buying a few more. hehe My friends loved the photos. I’m so happy they turned out pretty well. :D
We just got the wedding photos back (only a month after they were taken) and they turned out pretty well too. A select few have a person in our wedding person blinking which is a bummer. It would have been perfect it it wasn’t for that. But they’re asian so it was kind of hard to tell if it was small eyes cause of the smile or blinking. ._​_​_​_​. Esp. on a camera screen. Wished we took more pictures as backups in case that happened.
Oh and also a plus on the fact June is super responsive via email. She let us know when the photos were ready for pickup.
Otherwise, pretty happy with the overall experience!!! Highly recommend Memory Photo Gallery.
PS. That person who gave low review because they lost their photo date is being so unreasonable. Of course you have to put a deposit down to secure your photo date. Works the same way at a restaurant. They mentioned to us we needed to put a deposit down to secure the engagement date. We hauled ourselves to an ATM and came right back.

Maggie is a such talented make up artist. She is not just professional but also really passionate to help me out during my big day! She gave excellent recommendations and left no stone unturned in her magic touch. I have got lots and lots of compliments of being like a real princess! Not just from my guests but also people around in Palace of Fine Arts!!! I can’t thank her enough for being so supportive… changing my outfits, wearing accessories, keeping track of time, etc. I was very pleased with the make up and 5 hairstyles throughout the day!!!
And the pictures are definitely beyond my expectations as well. Jay is talented and the pictures turned out to be fantastic and memorable. I can’t wait to see the album!
June is another life saver. I would like to thank her for the advice and tips. She is always very patient and accommodating when we have any questions or need to make an appointment.

I brought my baby here to have a couple pictures taken for his birthday invitations. I didn’t want to run the risk of having an inexperienced high school student take his photos in a crowded dirty studio, then have them try and upsell their packages when I really only needed one or two pictures.
I called this place after seeing their good reviews on Unilocal,and they were able to see is the next day. Plus one star for that. They went above and beyond what I wanted, taking quite a few pictures in their studio and really worked hard to get some good shots on my sometimes serious baby.
For a small extra fee, they sent me the edited photo right away and allowed me to use it on his invites. Often, places like Sears make you pay a lot for a copyright release. Another star for that.
Overall I was very satisfied with the customer service and quality of the photos and prints. I would definitely come back here next time we want to take pictures.

This gallery is the best one in the Bay Area! They have long time experience both in China and in US. Good people, good technique, good quality!

I love this gallery. Jay, Maggie and June are very nice and professional.
We flew to San Francisco to take engagement photos and we had a great time. Maggie did makeup and we were fully satisfied. Maggie helped all the dresses, flowers stuff. Before I decided to choose Memory Photo Gallery, she answered lots of questions. I also love their dresses. They are clean, very new, and what’s more important, beautiful!
Jay is a very professional photographer. He knows exactly how to make us feel comfortable and express ourselves in front of cameras. My husband was kind of worried about taking photos before we got there, because he has no talent in front of cameras. But it turned out to be a huge success. Jay drove us to all the places we want for our photos. I guess he did most of the hard work. Thanks to Jay, we have 107 gorgeous pre-​wedding photos!

This is my first wedding photo (and the last one I hop). It was great service. We got the gallery one day ahead to disscuss the time and location for next day. The make-​up and photographer spent the entire day on Saturday, taking photo at two locations, daytime at Golden bridge and night photo at Pier. We havn’t seen the product yet, but we are thrill so far.

I also hire Jay to be my wedding photographer. Not to mention that they have great service, talent photographer and makeup aritist, their price is very reasonable.
Jay is very professional. His picture speaks for itself. Maggie is a talent makeup artist. She helped me to change 3 outfits and do 3 different hairstyles. The shooting session was fun. My husand and I had a very great time with them.
