Dr McLennan specializes in the treatment of headaches including migraines in children and adults. She is also experienced in treating metabolic syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome and chronic pelvic pain.

Katherine Armer specializes in the treatment of children with allergies and asthma. Dr McLennan is currently on sabbatical leave [October 2012).

History

Established in 2009.

Katherine Armer and Jane McLennan formed a friendship and a plan to practice acupuncture together while they were both students at The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. ACTCM is one of the leading schools of TCM in the USA and many graduates from the school have set up successful practices both in SF and around the country.

Dr. Jane McLennan was a Family Practice doctor with a busy office near London, England before moving to the Bay Area in 1999. She has been fully registered with the General Medical Council of Great Britain since 1986 and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Since moving to California she has worked at UCSF as Director of Research for the Cancer Risk Program at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center working closely with medical colleagues at UCSF on a number of successful projects.

She is now also Licensed Acupuncturist and returning to a clinical role applying her training in TCM with a background of 20 years experience in Western Medicine.
