The Virginia Harp Center offers the largest selection of harps on the East Coast by some of the worlds finest harp makers, including Camac, Dusty Strings, Lyon & Healy, and Salvi. We offer new and used, pedal and lever harps that are available for purchase or rental through the rent-​to-​own program. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is dedicated to keeping our customers happy with excellent service. We have a full time professional harpist on staff, who is able to answer your questions or play any of the instruments in our inventory.

History

Established in 1997.

When the Virginia Harp Center opened in Midlothian, Virginia in 1997, we were determined to create a showroom dedicated to serving all harpists. The formation of the Virginia Harp Center was a result of the perfect merger of a businessman and a professional harpist. For 20 years, David D’Arville was the owner of Southern Music Center, a successful Richmond-​based music store. Mary Jane D’Arville graduated from Carnegie-​Mellon University with a Masters of Music in Harp Performance. Their marriage brought them together in realizing many dreams, including the fruition of The Virginia Harp Center.
