History

Established in 2007.

Since 2007, Classic Granite & Marble has been helping home owners and commercial clients make smart investments with natural stone countertops, backsplashes, and fireplace hearths. Having grown from a small operation in Richmond, VA, CGM now offers a 35,000 square foot facility in Midlothian, complete with an award-​winning showroom highlighting the latest in kitchen and bath design, the latest technology in laser-​guided granite cutting, and a vast selection of classic and exotic stones from India, Turkey, and Brazil.

Classic Granite & Marble is also proud to sponsor several charity events a year at our state of the art facility. Our craft requires advanced technology, great skill and caring, but that caring also extends to community charities like Habitat For Humanity, Virginia Blood Services, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Do not I repeat do not use these people worst customer service I ever received! The plumber they hired damage my floors the week before Thanksgiving! As of yet I have not been compensated for the damage! I’m taking these people to small claims court! These people are horrible!!!
This company paid me 500.00to go away!
Now they have a lawyer sending me paperwork to stop me from spreading the true about my experience with them!
The lawyer told me if I didn’t stop they would take me to court! for defamation! Can it be defamation if it’s the truth !!

After asking a few of my neighbors where they went for their granite countertops, it was clear my husband and I were going with Classic Granite, and they did not disappoint. The installers were polite, professional, and always on time. But more importantly, the install was perfect. We couldn’t be more pleased with our new counters and backsplash. We would definitely use them again.

Sad when you have to bribe a company with a future job just to get a quote for a current smaller job. No thanks! Didn’t your mom ever tell you no job is too small… its a shame as we have a whole house to reno!

Classic Granite & Marble will go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy! They have a great selection of granite, a beautiful showroom, and their staff is very helpful. The owner Tony makes himself easily accessible, which is sometimes rare at big supply houses, and he even offered to disassemble his own office desk because it was the last piece of White Thunder granite that they had. We didn’t make him do that, but it was a generous offer!
We used Classic for our kitchen remodel and our bathroom remodel, and would definitely refer them to our friends and family. They are good people!

Classic Granite and Marble did come and replaced on piece to the inferior product. (This according to suggestions given to me by Christi). It still doesn’t match and still looks awful.
The Investor that I work for met the guys that installed the new piece of granite and was told by one of the guys that the faucet was not centered properly. He went on to blame our contractor for this mistake. However, this is NOT possible. The holes are cut out at Classic Granite and Marble before the granite is even delivered. Again, they are trying to place the blame on others instead of taking the responsibility.
A few week ago I received a call from the Investor that I work for, he stated that Tony, the owner, had called him regarding my review. Tony requested my Investor to speak to me about REMOVING my review. Tony offered the Investor the «best deal possible» on the next purchase if I would remove the review. To me this is an INSULT!. I am the one that was treated like a second class citizen by him and his staff. My Investor told Tony that he needed to call me and was given my phone number and it is also listed in the purchase order. Tony still continues to refuse to speak to me. It seems to me that Tony had no respect for women otherwise he would call me.

We had a great experience with classic granite. We found a beautiful piece that we loved… except for one orange spot that we wanted to avoid for the most part. They let us come in and pick the entire layout on the stone, and even gave helpful suggestions about what parts of the granite would look best in certain areas. They were so gracious in accommodating this unusual request and the end result is exactly what we wanted! The service was extremely friendly and the job was done perfectly. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very dissatisfied with their customer service. Wish I’d read the prior review first. Don’t use these people. They’re not going to be in business long, with their attitude. Oh, and even after I’d paid for everything in full with a check, I got a phone call asking me how I was going to pay for it. The plumber, Jenkins, reconnected our sink, and it too didn’t work properly, even tho it had when the sink was removed to make the cut in the quartz. Said it wasn’t his fault, and he would charge us to come out and work on it further. Called another plumber who fixed Jenkins’ screw up.
Jenkins also charged us to connect the dishwasher, and did NOT connect the stove top.
Buy elsewhere. Terrible place to do business.

From the moment we walked in, the sales people tried to push the granite & steer us from buying marble for our kitchen. We signed at least 2 «marble waivers.» Then Bea our sales girl, never knew what was going on! Every answer was no or I don’t know, instead of finding out then getting back to us. The prices were very good, but not worth all the trouble and miscommunication! Even after carefully inspecting, picking out our marble, marking & taping it. It was delivered with a ton of huge scratches & divots that were not there when I picked it out! They need to change how they store the big slabs on metal brackets which chip the edges & cause fissures. They don’t even put anything soft between the slabs when delivering. OUR beautiful pieces of marble was destroyed but they time they got it to our home!
The plumbers they used were awful. William & Bubba Jenkins from Jenkins Plumbing in Mechanicsville, Va. They would not hook the stove back up like they said. And did something to my dishwasher. It will now not drain & is leaking water. The plumbers came back to «fix» it… said it was NOT there problem. And had the audacity to charge me a $ 75 service fee. When I refused, he called me a bit@h. Will never recommend them!
