Just Drums is more than just drums. We cater to all percussionists. From drum set players, to world percussionists, to marching percussionists, to classical percussionist — we have the gear for everyone. Not only do we have the gear, but we have the experienced staff members to answer any questions you might have. Try going to a big-​box musical retail store and getting an answer on the difference between birch and rattan handled marimba mallets.

We are not commissioned so we’re going to guide you in the right direction each and every time. We won’t oversell nor will we undersell. You will always find the right answers and the right gear at Just Drums.

Meet the Manager

Michael A.

Manager

Michael is a Richmond native born into a music loving family. He marched 2 years with The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps and has been a scholastic educator & composer/​arranger for 10 years with great success at the competitive level of indoor and outdoor marching percussion. He is also one of few accomplished gigging timpanists in Central Virginia. Michael, is a former Drum Department manager at one of the «box stores» and brings a tremendous amount of experience to the team. Aside from his retail management experience, Michael is an accomplished musician and educator.
