I called them about replacing a bathroom window in our brownstone and they responded promptly and came over the same day. Their price quote was very fair and I placed an order for the window. Two weeks later Manuel showed up right on time to do the installation. He was absolutely terrific! The installation of the high quality replacement window took little more than an hour and he was meticulous. I assumed that there would be a mess and that I would need to repaint the sills. In fact, he left the area immaculate and he managed to do the installation without so much as scratching the surrounding woodwork. I did not even have to do touch-​up. A real gentleman and a skilled tradesman who takes real pride in his work, Manuel mentioned his long experience in the trade and his feeling that he has never worked for a better and more reputable company. He clearly knows what he is talking about and we could not be happier with the results. Thanks again, Manuel!

I needed a new pane installed in a hurry. Got a quote and the replacement installed on the same day. Manuel was very meticulous, did a wonderful job and we had a nice conversation too! Great stuff.

From start to finish, these guys were great. Great customer service.
They are located in Queens and I’m in Manhattan. When I called, they were booked up for Manhattan appointments until after the New Year. But thankfully, the person in the office I spoke with was very helpful in agreeing to squeeze me in for an appointment right away.
I scheduled a 9:30 am appointment for today. Robert arrived right on time. He took a look at my window and «fixed it» in under a minute (it turns out the problem was that neither myself nor my super know how to close my window right. d’oh). He was nice enough to not charge me the $ 160 minimum for a service call in Manhattan since it was an easy fix. He also said myself or my super could call if I have the problem again and he’d gladly walk me through how to fix it over the phone. I feel bad for making him drive in to Manhattan for such an easy fix, but he was very nice about it. Thanks Robert!

This review is a bit late, but Quality Window Service & Repair did work/​repairs on my screens and windows about 8 months ago, and they were great – easy to work with, responsive, and very helpful. The team gave me what I think was a very honest assessment, even steering me clear of some more expensive options that I probably could have been talked into; not once did I feel like I was being up-​sold or pressured to do more than was necessary. They worked quickly, did a great job, and I’d definitely go back for any future work needed.

This company was professional all the way and made the experience of glass replacement seamless! Best of all, Manuel, who actually did the work, was so skilled and knowledgeable about every aspect of the window makeup that it made the experience even more positive. I can now see out of my windows, and they move up and down freely! Thanks for your help and professionalism!

These guys are prompt, professional, and know exactly what they are doing. Had another contractor hired by my building manager after some glass damage during construction on the building. This other company came 4 separate times and each time it was one issue after another. Called these guys and it was done to my satisfaction in an hour.

Amazing customer service, they answered all my questions and concerns. Repairs were done GREAT! I was also given a 1year warranty, Which gives me peace of mind. The owner Robert was great… he gave me a great and fair price. He even came in under 30% out of all the other venders i called. Installation was done the next day. I highly recommend this company! I could not be more pleased with my experience with Quality Windows. They really made an effort to work with my schedule, the quote was extremely fair, and they clearly knew what they were doing. Furthermore, they were all very professional and a real pleasure to deal with. I wish I had found them earlier and I wish that there were more people out there like them. I will be recommending them to anyone who will listen!

Great service and price. I shopped around and these guys were very fair in their price and responsive in service. Rob even emailed me on his vacation to give me a quote. They were also professional about how they did their business and arrived on time to both the estimate appointment and installing the windows. Glad to see a mom and pop shop do well.

I was at my wit’s end trying to find window repair people near me for a residential repair– I found numbers in the Yellow pages and I grabbed numbers from the side of repair vans. People would be very grumpy when I called and tell me that the small repair I had wasn’t part of their service. I’m really thankful I found Quality Window on Unilocal.They really are an amazing company! Once I contacted them and started to talk to Jenny (who is so personable and understanding) I felt good about the whole process. I had to get a single window pane fixed in our apartment for a while now, and Jenny had me take photos to give them a survey of what type of window it was, then I had someone come to measure it and look at it in person to give me an estimate. It was easy to work with Jenny to get a lot of the scheduling and deposits, etc. together and in on time. I also found the repairmen really polite and patient when they answered all of my questions. They were really efficient and worked really diligently. They even gave me tips on how to stop my AC unit from rattling my window!
Overall, this is an amazing team. I’m really glad I found them.

These guys are really good and the prices are fair. No complaints. There’s no need to purchase new windows (most of the time). Just have Rob and team fix your existing windows.
Great customer service. The only drawback for some is that you have to pay for an estimate (which is deducted from final bill).

I had a broken window and wasn’t sure If I can fix it or will have to spend a lot more money to replace it.
I saw that Quality Window Service & repair have so many 5 stars reviews on Unilocal,I thought it might be a good idea to call them first. Jenny was very nice on the phone and set an appointment
fairly soon. They came and said that most likely they have the part to fix the window.
They charged me $ 35 for the visit and said that they will apply it against the repair expenses.
They followed up very quickly said that they can fix it and set another appointment. Manny came on the 2^nd appointment, very nice and courteous, and fixed the window in no time.
They sure deserved all the 5 stars they got, and earned one more from me. Thank you.

Quality Windows Service … Just the name of the company explains itself… «Quality» in thoroughness, timeliness, service and customer service. Jenny of the company was friendly, very helpful and thorough. She set the tone from start to end of my transaction from scheduling, communicating with the installers and payment. With summer coming and a cat in the house, I decided that it was time to get proper screens put on my windows. I called a few companies, looked on Unilocal,and finally settled on Quality Window Service & Repair. And I am so happy I did.
Jenny is a gem and was so helpful when it came to setting up my free (yes free!) in-​home estimate/​evaluation and setting up my actual installation. She was honest and extremely patient with my multiple calls and bajillion questions. The cost was super reasonable (with no pushy up-​selling!) and they were able to come and take care of this quickly.
Rob (I believe) who did the free in-​home estimate was super punctual and also able to help me assess how to fix my bathroom window which wasn’t staying up on it’s own. And the guy who came and installed the screens and fixed the window worked quickly.
All three of the people I dealt with at Quality Window either in person or over the phone, where highly professional and very nice. If I ever need help again, I’ll be calling them in a heart beat.

Great experience! Rob came out to repair the shattered glass in my double pane window, which was a good 7ft off the ground. He worked hard to minimize glass getting everywhere and was extremely careful of my furniture and making sure that my wood floor didn’t get scratched. He even windex-​ed the new window glass before he put it in so i wouldn’t be staring at finger prints for eternity!
These guys are honest, hard working, and willing to work with your schedule. Just good all around people. Thanks!!!

Call these guys first.
I called last minute, they made the effort to squeeze me in on a saturday, came by and gave some good open honest advice about our windows. Apparently I only needed wd40, which he showed me how to do (and explained why and how often I should) then did it for me, and didn’t charge me for the service call.
Its great to know companies like this are still around.

I am very late writing this review as the service completed was in 2014.
My husband and I had a window replaced for a family member living in Queens. Jenny and her husband made this project very easy for us who are living out-​of– state.
They were accommodating and professional. We would absolutely call them for any future window repairs.
