I like this company.
Before I ship my car, I had read bad reviews about this company BUT I decided to ship my car in it because they’re the cheapest. So I shipped my car from California to Ohio, they told me It’s gonna take 7 days but I got my car in Ohio in just 6 days which is so fast. I dealt with Tania and she was nice with me. Also, the driver Zabehallah was super nice with me.
Overall this company is good and I recommend it to everyone :)

They were the cheapest but now I know why. They delivered my car on the day scheduled; however, it was 9:00 p.m. at night so It was virtually impossible to notice any issues with the car until the light of day. And the driver made me feel like he was doing me a favor because he delivered on the date promised. Also the car arrived covered in oil which was splattered all over the left side of the car. The driver said «oh it must have come from the truck above it, huh, looks new». It still has not come off completely. The next day after cleaning off the oil, there was a small dent in the hood. Looks like the pin from the oil pan came out from the truck above. I immediately called Eric who was very nice but has yet to do anything about the issue.

This is a total con outfit. Stay away. I paid 200 bucks to them to transport my car from Las Vegas to Baltimore. The person on the phone, Greg, assured me everything was all set and I would be getting a call from «Olga» the night before my pick up date, ¹⁰⁄₁₀. He also gave me the phone number of the driver «Vlady». Seemed legit. It wasn’t. No call so I called them. Guess what, they are not coming for my car because they want more money. Suddenly $ 650 is now $ 850. «Vlady «from Pacific Express was rude and obnoxious and basically said too bad and hung up. I called Upscale and their mailbox is full, certainly with messages from satisfied clients. These guys stink and thank god I changed it on my credit card. Already contesting the charges from this rip off outfit. Total fraud. Read the other reviews. I wish I had.

I also would have given them 0 stars if it was an option. I am new to the car shipping world, and I am kicking myself for not reading more reviews before handing over my credit card number. As soon as I did — they stopped responding to all emails and phone calls and without an actual scheduled time for my car to be picked up I had to cancel the order. Per the contract, the customer will receive a full refund of the deposit if cancelled 24 hours before pick-​up. After a two weeks of being ignored or routed to the «billing department» (which is a nonfunctional answering machine as far as I can tell) I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company to get the refund. It’s really not worth the headache, especially since there are more reputable car transport companies. Learn from my mistake!

1. EXTORTION: Driver tried to extort additional money when the car was picked up by asking for more cash. Canceled the pickup and requested a refund of my deposit.
2. CONSENT: The next day they picked up my car without my consent (I’m paying for this service, not my family watching my car).
2. DAMAGE: When it was delivered, it was damaged on the rear bumper, and I have photographs with the driver in it when it was picked up showing the car pre-​damage. It felt like a drug deal where the driver wouldn’t give me my keys to inspect the interior until I paid (in cash).
This company is extremely shady — extortion & damaging my car. Would never recommend, I would be shocked if they are a legal business.

Absolutely the worse customer service anyone could experience. This company is nothing but a bunch of thugish hustlers.
Here are the facts if you give them your business.
You will not get your car on time.
You will be billed for more money that originally quoted.
You will experience the most ghetto like customer service ever.
You will never speak to a manager since their customer service dept will route you to the person that screwed you over even after you mentioned you did not want to speak to them.

This place doesn’t deserve the one star that was posted.
They are all liars and I advise you not to use them. I’ve already reported them to BBB (Better Business Bureau) for taking out $ 104 out of my credit card without my authorization and a promise to transport my vehicle. Then Tania lied about securing a driver and that the driver would be at my house at a designated time, well that never happened! I waited for days and she kept giving me the run around by avoiding my calls, placing me on hold and telling me that the driver was on their way, until I called the credit card company and got money back! Not only did she and her company screw up my vacation, it was a horrible experience. My suggestion would be use another reputable company to get the job done without the stress! Thanks a lot Tania & Upscale for absolutely nothing but some wasted time!!!

I recently moved my car from California to Florida with Upscale transport and could have given them 5 stars but because of their carrier mistakes I am not able to do so.
Everything went fine from placing the order till receiving my car, they also helped me with last minute change of pickup date. There was some miscommunication regarding payment which they refunded me later on. Just had below unfavorable experiences,
1) I had couple of folding chairs placed in the trunk and they were not there when I received my car, driver misplaced them and simply told he don’t know anything about it.
2) I had quarter tank fuel in the car at the time of shipping but when I received there was barely any fuel for me to reach nearest gas station only.
3) It seemed like my car was used in between as I found couple of crushed soda cans near back seat of the car, also there was one half eaten chocolate.
Upscale employees are good but they need to choose right carrier for transport.

This company is the most unethical business I have ever worked with that has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced.
Upscale was pretty was on the ball when it cam to getting my business and $ 250 deposit.
After that time, they NEVER initiated contact me again to confirm if car was picked up or anything. I placed my order 3 days before pick up date 12÷2÷13. Promised me a enclosed truck with a lift gate for my Lamborghini but the day of driver told me it was a neither a enclosed trailer nor had a lift gate…
Then I «babysat» for 3 days, making numerous phone calls and sending emails text and calls to arrange transport for my vehicle. I had spent $ 800 for a plane ticket from Philly to San Antonio to inspect my car as it was loaded but the driver never showed. Fast forward 3 days and about 30 phone calls and over a 100 text later I had to cancel my cancelled the contract, since it didn’t look like the car was ever going to get picked up. Every time I called Kay politely made an excuse or tell me no one is available to help me he is trying his best. Never ever ever consider this company to deliver your car for you!!!

If I could, I would give them zero stars. I ended up not transporting with them because they said they would pick up the vehicle on a certain date but tried to pick up my vehicle 5 days after that date. And they tried to pick up my car after I had canceled their services to go with another auto transport company. I needed my car and they tried to BS me when I would call and I would tell them they had not yet picked up my vehicle & then Tania had the nerve to say «We haven’t picked it up yet??» Aren’t you supposed to know what’s going on if you’re handling my vehicle? Then after I canceled they tried to make my cousin relinquish the keys and car anyway after I said I do not want their services. When I mentioned upscale auto transport to the dispatcher, he had no clue who upscale auto was, talk about sketchy. So, I definitely went with another company. If you’re reading this review go with AAA anytime auto transport out of Las Vegas, NV. Told me I would have my car from 2,000 miles away in 5 days… They had my car delivered in 3 days in the same shape I had it when I left it. Awful service, rude, unprofessional.

This company is a fraud, they promised pickup and no one showed. Chris Ray never called back when he said he would and all this after they charged me a deposit. Chris Ray cancelled the agreement after my complaints and stole my $ 155 deposit. They will steal from you at the first chance they get, STAY AWAY from this company.

This company is awful to deal with. I had the same experience as Kristy, Eriko and Eddie (Previous reviewers). They tout how great they are their website so I went with them. I had to cancel my order and requested a refund. It’s been two months and still nothing. Every time I call they say «it’s being processed». This last time I called they had the nerve to tell me the accting dept was out to lunch. The entire dept is out to lunch? I mean seriously, who does business like this? Not anyone that wants to stay in business that’s for sure. Shame on me for not checking the Unilocal reviews first. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Don’t use this company!

This is actually the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life! DO NOT USE UPSCALE AUTO.
I decided on Upscale Auto because it looked like they had pretty decent reviews and a cheap price. Little did I know, I would be dealing with the worst company I have ever encountered.
I wanted to transport my car from St. Louis to Austin. I had scheduled a pick-​up date the week before. A couple days before my pick-​up date, I called my primary contact Chris to ask him what time my car would be picked up. He told me that there wasn’t a driver assigned yet, but he ASSURED me that there would be a driver assigned when he promised. THIS WAS SUCH A LIE.
The day before my scheduled pick-​up date, I still hadn’t heard from Chris. I called him that day to make sure he was working on it. He said he was working on it and that it was MY RESPONSIBILITY to call him back later that day so that I could REMIND HIM to let me know about the progress of my car. Shouldn’t it be his responsibility to let me know about my car that I hired him to transport?!
Anyway, I called him multiple times the day before pick-​up and a driver was still not assigned. The morning of the day of pickup, there was still no assigned driver, and I made the last-​minute decision to cancel transporting with Upscale altogether, fly to St. Louis last-​minute, and drive the car myself.
The cherry on top of this entire process was getting my deposit refunded after I had cancelled my reservation. Every week since my cancellation, I called Chris asking when my refund would be processed. He kept telling me that it would be processed the Friday of the week I called, but nothing ever happened. I eventually had to file a claim with my credit card company to get the money back.
Moral of the story? DO NOT USE UPSCALE AUTO. Seriously. Just pay a little extra money and go with a transport company that is actually reliable.

I recently purchased a new Mercedes Benz E-​Class from Mercedes Benz of Jacksonville, I went on a lengthy search finding the «perfect one» with all the features i wanted. I didn’t want to drive the car down so I had the car shipped, after spending DAYS looking for the right company i finally found Upscale transport, mainly because they were located in my hometown. From start to finish a gentlemen by the name of «Kay» kept me 100% informed of everything going on, when the car would be picked up, and when it would be dropped off. When the car arrived, it arrived without a scratch. I would definitely use them again, very caring company, A++

So I had the same problem Eddie M. had.
1. Poor customer service/​professionalism: when I made the contract they said pickup on June 1^st, Saturday would be possible. When I called back a few days before June 1^st, they told me Saturday is not possible. And the guy who said it was not possible was like «It’s not possible. What do you want me to do about it? Want to talk to the manager?» And when I talked to the manager, he started verbally attacking me that I did not understand how their company worked (I have a doctorate… I think I understand how a car transport broker/​truck driver system works…) and started threatening me that if I don’t understand the system, my vehicle wouldn’t be shipped safely. And when my boyfriend (who has a hispanic accent) called on my behalf, they kept on thinking he was the truck driver even though he kept on saying he was the customer for order number XXX. And they even hung up on him a few times.
2. Bait and Switch. They quoted me for $ 900(which is the reason why I chose the company) And few days before June 1^st (rough scheduled pickup date), the manager said the worker who quoted me that amount no longer works and the manager has no idea where that worker pulled that number from (I actually received emails from this so called «fired and unable to be contacted worker» about my car transport from his work email later). So they requoted me for $ 1400. At this point, they said if I want to cancel, they were going to be GENEROUS and refund me the nonrefundable $ 200 deposit (Initially, they said the deposit was $ 175 but when it came to charge me, they charged me $ 200 deposit). Later they notified me because they found a drive for $ 1300(and made it sound like they did a favor for me). At this point I cancelled the contract (yes they did refund me my $ 200). But I guess they put me on the blacklist because the two times I called about confirming cancellation/​refund and said my name, they would be like «oh it’s you…»
3. Poorly functioning: after I cancelled the contract, the truck driver called saying he was coming to pickup the car. yes the company FORGOT to tell the truck driver that I cancelled the contract. Both I and the truck driver were NOT happy.
I WOULD RATHER SHAVE MY BEAUTIFUL LONG HAIR THAN BE FORCED TO GO THRU THE AGONY/​FRUSTRATION/​ANGER INVOLVED WITH DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN.

watch out these guys will take your money and give you the run around, tania took my deposit and never picked up car, these guys are con artist i bet tania was a made up name. stay away at all costs.

Had a particularly unfavorable experience due to miscommunications and employees not taking responsibility for mistakes.
The owner Kay, was apologetic and finally did the right thing by returning a deposit to me that I never authorized.
If you start your transaction off by talking with Kay I am sure the process will go flawlessly. Avoid Katie and Tania, they were both severely lacking on customer service and essentially destroyed the word «upscale».

Absolute garbage customer service. STAY AWAY.
BEWARE: you can NOT pay for your full transaction via credit card. (You have to put down $ 175 deposit and pay the rest via cash, cashiers check, or oney order.) This is how they’ll sucker you into jacking up the price of the shipment WHILE IT’S UNDERWAY.
In my particular instance, I was quoted $ 1,250 for the shipment, signed the contract, and paid my $ 175 deposit.
The driver wasn’t on time and I had to reschedule for pickup the subsequent day. If it wasn’t for the fact that I called the company after the driver was 3 hours late, they would have never told me that he had cancelled and needed to reschedule pickup.
Upon the vehicle’s arrival to its destination, the driver tells me I owe him $ 1,200 (instead of the remaining $ 1,075 i should’ve owed.) At this point I have no choice other than to accept the vehicle, cough up the money and attempt to fix it with the company.
Upon contacting the company to adjust my balance, they tell me that the associate who brokered my transport no longer works with them and there’s nothing that they can do. I told them that I didn’t conduct businiess with an individual; but, with an individual REPRESENTING THEIR COMPANY. Just because he’s gone doesn’t mean they lost accountability
They pretty much told me to eat shit. I called up my credit card company, they adjusted the problem for me and now i’m going to do everything to stick it to these theiving sacks of crap.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Upscale Auto Transport is the Worst Customer Experience I’ve Ever Had
My experience with Upscale Auto Transport was so poor that I felt compelled to write this review in the hope that it saves someone else from my experience.
— Received a quote from Upscale. They seemed knowledgeable, responsive and confident that they could get the car there in 3 weeks. I paid my $ 175 deposit, scheduled a date and everything seemed good
— As the pick-​up date approached I never received any correspondence from Upscale so I called to confirm the pick-​up and was told it was taken care of.
— The day of the pick-​up no truck, no call and when I called them no one was available.
— Day 2– They assured me they would have a truck out. Again, not truck, no call.
— When I called back no straight answer and was told if I raised the amount I would pay, they could get a truck. While unhappy, I agreed.
— A couple days later still no truck, no call and when I called them no answer on whether they would be able to transport the car
— WE ENDED UP DRIVING IT OURSELVES FROM CALIFORNIA TO GEORGIA!
— Weeks later no deposit refund, no apology
