These genius people hooked me up with a trucking company that advertises 250k worth insurance per vehicle. Yet subs their shipments to another company w 180k total worth of insurance and then burns my car along w several other collector Porsches and thinks their gonna pay out 180k. Certificates of insurance worthless! beware!!!

This auto relocation is highly unethical. Stay away as far as possible! Don’t use this provider. They are crooks! First they gave met he lowest quote possible, then later said that they would ship my car from Michigan to Los angeles for $ 1100. So I say yes out of desperation and then later on the invoice charged me $ 1250! I called back and told them that this price was never agreed for and canceled the order. They are crooks. Very unethical. They Don’t tell the truth and try to get you. Stay away from this company. I ended hiring another for much lower price.

This business has very low ethics, and will give you the lowest initial bid with no intention of honoring it. I wish I had checked with Unilocal,the reviews on Transport
are hand picked and skewed. As another reviewer had indicated, if you have a complaint with them (Scott) they will become belligerent and hang up on you.

My experience completely matches others in this chain. I spoke to Milton who is a coordinator. He told me that there is a three day window for pick up but that he would talk to the driver and tell me which day it would be. With 4 days out he said the driver would be there on the 28^th. Then on the day of the 28^th they called at 10 am and said the driver would not be there until the next day. I had already purchased a train ticket to leave so this was a HUGE inconvenience that they waited until the last minute to tell me something they had known for days. Milton also promised weekend delivery and that my vehicle would be placed on top. When the dispatcher from A-​1 Auto trans, the company Milton chose to move my car, contacted me the dispatcher’s name was Jason. He stated that Milton never confirmed the pick up date of the 28^th with them, never confirmed a top load, and that they do not deliver on the weekend which they said Milton also knew. I insisted we all talk by conference call. Sure enough… they all like and play games. They promised they would pick up the next day. Then, they called the person who was now handling the car for me (a friend as I was leaving by train that day) and told her (while I was in the car listening on speaker phone) that I had said shw would be willing to drive to a Kmart near by and that they could then use my car to drive her home. All lies. Then they called and stated they had no idea when it would be delivered. When I spoke to Joe the manager at Progressive he said, and I quote: «you are the worst customer ever, you are a fucking cunt, I am going to put your car in storage for $ 300 dollars a day, and you will have a gate fee to pay just to access it, fuck you». I literally had to give them an additional $ 100 to get my car. When it arrived it had minor scratches. I was thrilled just to get it back. They are extortionists, liars, and the very base of society. By that last comment, I don’t mean our foundation, I mean the seedy underbelly of the vermin that you hope to never encounter. If you are thinking of using them, I would recommend setting your car on fire and then throwing yourself on top of it as it would be a better experience than spending two seconds dealing with these scum.

I decided to write a review because of my fellow peers’ comment about this company. Although I did not use their full service, I come in full agreement with the statements that was written because of my interaction with Benny. I had obtain a quote from them to transport my car for $ 500. Benny mention that he will find me a driver with no problem took my information down and began his search. At first I didn’t know this was a broker company, I thought this was an actual moving company because nothing in the emails that were sent to me mentioned that they were a broker company. So, during my second conversation with Benny, he calls me back and tells me that he had to increase the quoted price and that he had to cut his broker fee and all this extra stuff. Then, stated he had to cut a deal with the driver and I could no longer be paying $ 500. He asked if paying an extra $ 50 would be a problem, which it wasn’t. However, at the end of the conversation, I asked how much I would be paying the driver b/​c he was giving me crooked speech he said $ 500, which brought my total to $ 600 (broker fee was $ 100). I forgot to mention that I wanted my car to be picked up on Wednesday and he told me that the driver could not pick up my car that day b/​c of some business of all the cars traveling north this time of the season and that my car could only be picked up on Tuesday. I had no problem with the increase and changes until I did my own investigation regarding the driver and the company he gave me. Now, the company is legit and the people working there are legit, but they knew nothing about my car and the driver who was given to me was schedule to be in my delivered city the same day he was suppose to pick up my car! I found that odd and suspicious. Benny couldn’t be trusted. He took his broker fee out of my account before even giving me a solid appointment for my car to be picked up. I became more suspicious with the time line he had given me in regards to the delivery of my car to the destined city b/​c a drive to my current city to the city that my car was suppose to be dropped off to only takes a day nonstop. So, it would take someone at less two to three days to get there. Tell me why Benny told me it will take FIVE days to deliver my car when the average time is typically three day up the east coast. It gets better! The day before picking up my car, Benny calls me to tell me I have a new driver and he could pick up my car the same day or the next day. I didn’t respond. At that point, I had enough and listed this company as fraudulent. I decided not to do business with him after that b/​c I had a feeling I would lose my car and the rest of my peers have made it evident with their post. Caution yourself when dealing with people who are shady in speech and can not give you a direct answer.

They charged me $ 100 more than quoted price. When called them about issue, they use very bad word F**, M*** and more bad word to me.
I have shipped my vehicle from Honolulu, HI to Omaha, NE on January 2014. They gave me a quote for $ 1800. I have clearly asked them to give me exact quote because I don’t want to get charge more later. So, they send me email quote of $ 1800. I called and verify the quoted price and talked to Tina Naranjo. She told me that they will have to charge me $ 1850 all together. So, they asked my credit card info for deposit. They told me that they will charge $ 200 deposit and $ 1003 pay to Matson shipping company in Honolulu and remaining balance pay to driver during delivery. So, I agreed her quote and deliver vehicle accordingly. Later on she told me to pay driver $ 750 when delivery of the vehicle. I asked her why $ 750? She said that she only charge $ 100 deposit in my credit card. So, I went ahead and paid $ 750 at the time of delivery of my vehicle. Today I got my credit card statement and found out they did charge me $ 200 deposit. So, I called Tina back and explain the situation. She tried to tell me quoted price can be different and blaw blaw blaw. I knew that they were not doing very good business practice at that time because she was not a same person I dealt with before I gave my business. She was totally different. I try to explain about our conversation and all the sudden she transfer call to her supervisor. He was trying to manuplate the issue. I again explain everything and told him clearly that he should refund $ 100 to me. He said he will not refund the money. I told him, if he does not refund, I will file BBB complain. He got really mad and start accusing me different thing and also name calling. I even can not write those word he used like «F», «M» and other extreme word which can not be written here. He was very unprofessional and finally hanged up on me. I want to know if BBB can do anything about it before I file a law suit against his company.
My advice to future customer…
Be aware who you are doing business with. Do lots of homework. Check BBB review, Unilocal,Google review and more. This company supervisor was very unprofessional. I just could not believe that some one do business this way. They completely don’t have any ethical. They are very dishonest and unprofessional. Total disappointment.

I decided to use Progressive because they gave me the lowest quote and their ratings were good on an auto transport site. After confirming with my «Senior Transport Specialist» that the cost to me would be $ 1100 total, I rejected the barrage of emails and phone calls from the other transport companies. 4 days before the vehicle was to be picked up, I was informed that the price was going to be $ 1300 since the vehicle was large. Keep in mind, Progressive was given the make, model and year well in advance and if they were competent, they could have figured this out ahead of time.
Nervous that I wouldn’t be able to make other arrangements in time, I went ahead with the transaction.
The icing on the cake, was when I contacted the owner of Progressive, politely asking if he would consider reimbursing me for the extra $ 200. After giving me attitude and immediately dismissing my request, I asked him if he really felt that $ 200 was worth turning off a potential return customer and getting a negative review. His response was, «Go f*** yourself» and hung up.
Later in the day after I left a review of my experience, the owner called me and exclaimed, «I looked up your business, you f***ing faggot…», I immediately hung up realizing there was no talking to this lunatic.
I highly recommend not using this company as there are many more out there to choose from… just do your homework first. My opinion is that Progressive is a «bait and switch» business with an incompetent staff and extremely unprofessional, offensive and unbalanced owner.

Should be no stars but forced to just to post. Benny is an unprofessinlonal racist! Received an $ 1100 QUOTE from Megam to ship from HI to FL, which was too good to be true. After emailing 2x with no response, I called and she said she would email me more info… nothing. then got an email saying quote expired so I called main number and got operator/​owner Benny. Told him I never received a response from Megan so the quote expiration was not my fault. I said if that’s the way they pay, then i would go with someone else. He yelled at me and said to go with someone else. He tried to call me 5 times then texted me… calling me a n*gg*r, go suck a di*k, called me a c*nt, and then a n*gg*r again. I told him to be careful as one could get sued for derogatory racist remarks. He tried to turn it on me, but I have texts I black and white. Sad… he will be hearing from me again… with a lawyer.

This is a dishonest and unethical company.
On August 8, I contacted Progressive seeking a quote for them to act as a broker to relocate my vehicle from Huntington Beach to Connecticut. I received the quote (#263 046-​HF). I then spoke with Benny Lugo on the phone and via email. He confirmed Progressive would handle the relocation and that the vehicle would be delivered no later than August 30.
Progressive stated that our car would be collected on Monday, August 19. It wasn’t. It was supposed to be collected on Tuesday, August 20^th. It wasn’t. The car was supposed to be collected on Wednesday, August 21^st. It wasn’t. It was finally collected on Thursday, August 22^nd at 9.30am. By this time we were concerned it would not arrive in time.
Instead, the vehicle never arrived. The vehicle may never have even left California. We don’t know.
Excuses from Benny included «well, the company we used had a fire and the building burnt down». (It didn’t). The driver’s father died (he didn’t). The driver is in hospital (he wasn’t). The company (Performance Auto Movers) that Benny used to relocate our vehicle operates out of a trailer in a lot in one of the worst areas in Los Angeles. I know this because I had to go there to find our vehicle (eventually). Benny also sent me to a residential area with a fake address stating this was the business site. It wasn’t. But thank you for the three hour drive on a holiday weekend, Benny.
Speaking to Benny on Thursday, August 29, he advised the car had never been collected and was, in fact still in Huntington Beach (it wasn’t). This, despite the fact that Progressive had confirmed the car would be delivered by August 30. On that day Benny advised that because the car had been collected, it would be delivered (it never was). After continual phone calls to Progressive, Greg got involved and made an effort to help. Benny Lugo, at no time attempted to find the vehicle, to keep us in the loop as to where it might be or what may have happened to it. It went in the ‘too hard basket’ and he stopped returning calls.
Finally, through our own investigation and with absolutely no help from Progressive, we got our vehicle back and now have to start the entire process over because the owner of the company, LIAM CONNOLLY, after the complete debacle caused by his own staff, refused to honor the contract and find another relocation company to move the car. We hope to get the deposit funds back from Progressive, and if they don’t we’ll go through our bank. Of course, we’ll be paying more money to relocated the vehicle because Benny lowballed the original quote to get the job.
Shame on you, Liam Connolly and Progressive Auto Relocation.

I called Progress Auto Relocation Inc and spoke with Greg Stevens about a quote and information on relocating my vehicle. He went on a spiel that he is a honest businessman and he will get me the best price. He also noted that I should not believe what other auto transporters will quote me because they all work from the same system. He took down my information and said he will call me back in a couple of days. Well, a couple of days went by and he never called me back, so I went with another auto transporter. A week or two later, Greg Stevens called me and I told him that my car has already been transported. He then said, «Ni Hao you son-​of-​bitch, thanks for letting me know» and hung up. This is unacceptable behavior and terrible customer service. I do not recommend this auto transporter to anyone because who knows what might happen to your vehicle with this kind of service and attitude. Thank God, I did not choose this auto transporter to move my vehicle.
