This is by far the worst massage envy I’ve ever visited. It’s poorly run, they employee creepy massage therapists with callused hands, and have the worst customer service. I’ve tried to give this establishment a few chances because it’s walking distance from my house but enough is enough. Their employee turnover is uncharacteristically high which is a red flag. Wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE!

Their employees are beyond incompetent. Every time I try and book there is at least some kind of problem. Most employees do not even know what they are talking about. I am told something different every time I speak to someone new. One time I even had an employee forget to ask for my credit card number when booking an appointment (something I had not been asked for before) and when I called back to cancel it they still tried to hold me accountable for it by harassing me on the phone for my credit card number. Why would I ever give you my credit card number when you’re trying to charge me for a service I did not receive? They make it SO difficult to make an appointment with some new rule every time I call and I am even a member. Massage Envy is there for relaxation purposes but I always end up more stressed and angry every time I deal with them. I would get rid of my membership there but they would take all my ALREADY PAID FOR credits with them if I stop. I am in the process of using all my credits now so I can stop my membership and NEVER return again. Corporate needs to take over this location and find new management because this is a poorly run business as a whole.

I signed up for their membership and wasn’t explained IMPORTANT INFORMATION PROPERLY, but was told that’s why we sign contracts and should have read it carefully. I feel if I ask a certain question and get it answered incorrectly but still get charged for a service I did not understand correctly is wrong.
The massage was pretty relaxing but so much for a hour massage when it only lasted 40 MINUTES, which I will be addressing next time. I’m paying for a service I’m not even receiving.
Atleast the manager was nice and offered me a free service for the inconvenience that day. The two front workers were nice as well.
Overall, I do not recommend signing up for their membership unless you fully read through all the contract or do research on that facility, nor will I be resigning with them once I complete the 12 months. Can’t wait for that to finish!

I was a member over a year. Went in and filled out paperwork to cancel my account, but they continued to charge me the next two months, had to call in and speak with a manager to get my money refunded. Took a long time of sub par massages to find a therapist I liked. Very disappointed with the unethical biz practices upon cancellation.

What’s with the hard selling? I hope this place reads this review and learns not to sell their plans so aggressively. They literally will not let you leave the door without trying to buy their plan. Everything was fine until they started selling me so hard.
They also got the payment wrong! They tried to charge me as if I was a returning customer and not the introductory massage!

I recently moved to the area, I was looking for a massage place. I stopped by with my husband to make an app. for two days later, when I arrived at the place they said my app wasn’t in the computer, they told somebody made the mistake to make app. for a week later, at the same time was another guy checking in and they told him that he’d cancelled his app. he said he never did. I left very disappointed. A few hours later, Dominic called to apologize about the mistake and asked me to give them a second chance. Ok, ok, I made the app. For the next day… What a big mistake! Ana was my masseuse when we went inside she started saying that a need a special treatment with an extra charge bcs my hips was uneven. What??? I have a long shirt, how she can see that my hip was uneven?! Well, she was terrible, not enough cream was used… Too much friction and I left the place with a lot of pain, I couldn’t lift my arm for a few days. I’d decided to try another girl and made the second mistake going back with another masseuse Michelle, she was good but not amazing for $ 79 massage. If you’re like me that enjoy a good and relaxing massage and good costumer service DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE. It’s a very Comercial place… All they want it’s sell memberships and extra service to charge you more. Now I understand why they have sooo many bad reviews!

I’ve been a member for over 2 years. Like this location cuz it’s clean and convenient. Use it for massages on occasion but always for facials. I’ve been getting them religiously since I was 18, I’m 34 now so I’ve dealt with my fair share of estheticians. Karen is absolutely the best! She is truly a professional. Skilled and informed on her trade. Never pushy with products, if she ever suggest something it’s because u really will benefit from using it. Which is great because I dnt need a sneak sales attack during my me time. I recently moved to Dania beach and still make the drive to brickell. They are lucky to have her. If ur looking to get a facial, make ur appointment with her.

I made an appointment on the phone, had it confirmed and everything. I came 15 minutes early like they asked and they tell me at the front desk that they accidentally booked someone else at the same time.
This is completely unacceptable as a business. I am a yoga teacher and was in dire need of a massage and I walked out with nothing.

You have to be lucky to have a good therapists overall they are good
Estheticians are very good for basic facials
The Reception is really bad all the receptionists have a horrible attitude as if they are doing you a favor, don’t say please or thank you NO SERVICE skills
Your massage relaxation gets all ruined by them
Plus I have been a member for more than a year and they have lost my file more than 4 times

Everything was alright Until payment, the front desk guy was asking me if I wanted to join their membership program and he explained all the benefits, I declined the offer for my reasons and of course he continued to try to sell the product (which is great) but it wasn’t till the girl with bright purple lipstick came into the picture … She literally told me «it was common sense «that their deals are worth it, with the biggest attitude. Excuse me ?? I think it’s common sense that you shouldn’t talk like that to a client, especially with such an attitude. It was so uncalled for. All I wanted to do was pay and continue with my day but no, that didn’t happen !! Then the girl walks away and the guy said that they were not trying to gang up on me. Clearly you were.
Anyway. The massage was relaxing but I’m all about over all experiences.

Cindy gave me THE BEST massage ever. She completely listened and worked tirelessly on my tension and trouble areas, soothed my body from stress, and was pleasant to be around. I was hooked and signed up for the membership program the same day! The only reason I did not give 5 Stars was because my Appointment was not in the system when I arrived so there was minor stress involved if I was going to be able to get the massage at all, but the recovery was wonderful (free sugar scrub) and the staff was so sweet about making sure I still had the best experience. Just be sure to call a day or two before to confirm the appointment! I’ll be back for my monthly massage soon!

The counter staff are discourteous. Upon arrival, the desk girl rudely asked me to get my ID out and have it ready for her. When I didn’t do this in 3 seconds flat, she gave me a very nasty look and snatched it away once I finally handed it to her.
They took my ID but never returned it. I had a flight early the next morning and discovered at the airport the ID was missing. Luckily I argued my way onto the flight with a 15 year old college ID I happened to have on me. When I called to have it overnighted they made no effort to get it out that day despite the fact that FedEx is about 50 feet away and not knowing when I had my return flight.
The ID was sent out the following day with little apology. I asked to speak to the owner regarding this and was never contacted. After almost a week I finally tracked the owner down and he was unapologetic as well.
Won’t be returning.

I went in with my husband when I was pregnant and we did a dual massage. On the paper they ask you to fill out when you walk in they ask your trouble areas. During my prenatal massage the lady did everything I asked NOT to massage! It’s said during some time of pregnancy not to massages legs. Well she did. I should have asked her to stop. But I didn’t think in it wouldn’t be too long. Well the leg massage was like half the massage. I told them at the end and they had some very unapologetic words.
So it’s now 10 months after my son is born and my sister-​in-​law and husband surprised me with a massage. Finally. Super excited. Only they take me here. I remembered thinking I didn’t NOT want to come back but I was so desperate that I didn’t care. My appointment was at 2. The actual «massage» started at 2:06 and ended at 2:53. Now 11 minutes doesn’t seem like a lot but to a mother of a newborn that’s an ETERNITY. I asked why it wasn’t a full hour and she replied it takes time to talk things over in the beginning. Whatever. The lady was very nice but all the ladies who worked there were all coming out of one room giggling like school girls. It was odd. Forgot to mention that on the paper they ask to fill out I asked for certain places I didn’t want to be worked on. Again the same problem ensued. Never will I come back here. They are shady with their package deals as well. If you do the math you are actually being charged more. Save yourself the hassle and go on groupon and check for deals elsewhere at more reputable places or hotels.

This place is not okay or bad its HORRIBLE ! I have been to many spas and never have I been treated so rude. First off the woman they have in the front desk Vanessa is all hair because she has no BRIAN or education who 1. Didn’t even greet me 2. Demanded to know what I wanted and she didn’t even ask if I had been there which I had not, didn’t ask if I even had an appointment with her nasty attitude but it doesn’t surprise me when I meet the person in charge of the shop Steven if I am not mistaken is an unprofessional a******. I shouldn’t have second guessed all the terrible reviews I had read of this place. THEY JUST LOST OUT & DEFINITELY GOING DOWN IN THE NEWSPAPER MY COUSIN WRITES FOR AS WORSE SPA EVER. Free 30 minute massage when u purchase an hour? Sure sign me up, and I def don’t mind paying full price either cause I’m not gonna sign up for the membership (don’t need a massage that often)
But when I go in the lady at the desk is like oh sorry we don’t accept that anymore it’s a «glitch» that it keeps popping up– I’m sorry.
I mean she was nice about it– I don’t know about these reviews that keep saying the customer service was bad– BUT common, a glitch? I have never ever been turned down a Unilocal check-​in order. Oh well
That being said the massage was good, deep tissue is the best! My back feels great and I’ll sleep well tonight.

THEY’RE NOT WORTHY of envy. It’s a very impersonal, no-​frills experience – the antithesis of what a massage should be.
You walk into the store, and someone demands from behind the desk, «Do you have an appointment?» and then, «Can I see your license?» and the guy behind the desk grabs your ID and slaps it on a copy machine. Wait! What? Is that really necessary?
After several pages of paperwork someone takes you on a «tour.» There’s a tiny little waiting room where they have comfy chairs, and an electronic «foot massager,» which is just a vibrating board to put your feet on. Then there’s a hot/​cold water dispenser that doesn’t work today, and they point out a plaque for «Employee of the Month” – seriously? There’s a series of closed doors, which are the treatment rooms, and one marked «employees only,» which seems to be their break room and there are literally people spilling out of it – the door won’t close because there are too many people inside laughing and talking and bustling in and out. You have to push past a line of people waiting in front of the doors to the 2 unisex restrooms.
Then, the massage. It was great! If you could block out the rest of the experience, there’d be 2 more stars on this review.
But! There’s the apres-​massage sales pitch, of course. The fumbling inarticulate lad with the laminated page of package deals who messes up the prices, not once but 3 times before finally giving up and moving behind the desk to allow you to pay and leave, but then his colleague jumps in to make one last ditch pitch to try to get you to buy a package, and it’s time to level the laser-​stare at him and say in your best Clint Eastwood stone-​cold voice, «No, I’d like to pay for today’s service and go NOW, thank you.»
