They got a bit more expensive recently since they’re really active 2 to 3 weeks per semester, so about 6 to 9 weeks in a year, and they don’t have much of another way to make money. Ideally they’d only be open those days and closed the others… maybe if they find out a way to rent out the place the majority of the weeks they aren’t open then their prices might go down more.

Okay, this place is not as cheap as it used to be. But it still beats the bookstore prices.

I found this place during my sophomore year in college and thought it was sent from heaven but now, 2 years later it’s not that great. It’s across FIU so they have a lot of the needed FIU textbooks. I stopped going to them once I realized the existence of , and now recently, all which save you major moolah for the average college student. I went recently and discovered their prices don’t vary that much compared to FIU– only $ 5-$ 10. I’m sure if you buy a lot of books then yeah you could see the saving but I’ll only be coming here for last-minute-emergency textbooks. Thank you Internet for sparing me a couple $
