Bicycle Connection of Metairie is one of the New Orleans area’s leading performance bicycle shops. We are a small, passionate, family-​owned shop. We got into the bicycle business because we love bikes! Bicycle Connection supports all levels of cycling experience, from beginners buying their first bike, to seasoned triathletes and bike racers.

We are proud to be Louisiana’s oldest and largest Cervelo dealer. Cervelo makes a focused range of high performance carbon fiber bicycles for road racers, time trialists and triathletes. In addition to Cervelo, we are a dealer of Specialized Bicycles, one of the world’s largest bicycle companies. Specialized offers bikes for everyone, from toddler to racer, and a full line of components, tires, bicycle clothing and accessories. We also carry FitBikeCo BMX and street bikes.

Looking for a tandem, touring bike, or just something a little different? Bicycle Connection sells custom built tandems and singles from Oregon’s Co-​Motion Cycles. And for the cyclist looking for a US-​made custom steel bicycle at an affordable price, we offer framesets from Gunnar Cycles — steel framesets built in the former Schwinn Paramount factory in Waterford, WI.

History

Established in 1993.

Started out in Chalmette, La in 1993. Moved to our current location in 2003 and has been under new management since July of 2013.

Our mission is to bring you only premium options for whatever your cycling needs may be.
