I had a great experience, and not having to drive all the way to the dealership was an added bonus;)

We have a ’99 Mercedes CLK320. There have been oil leaks messing up my garage floor so we decided to get them fixed. Turns out both rocker box covers, the transmission pan gasket, oil filter flange gasket, rear engine seal and the oil filter were all leaking, Autobahn replaced all the gaskets and serviced the transmission for what we feel was a fair market price. Of course when you go after so many problems all at once it is never known if everything is fixed. Turns out there were two failures in the new gaskets. Autobahn replaced them again at no charge and I now have a clean garage floor. The staff was super through the process. I am now a very happy Mercedes owner and pleased to recommend Autobahn for your Mercedes.

I’m not one to post reviews often, but I am making an exception for Kent and his team at Autobahn Autoworks. My BMW 2008 V-​10 M6 suffered the classic rod bearing failure, that that engine is prone to. She needed a full engine rebuild. This car was my baby and I was loathe to lose her. The dealership want far too much to fix it, in fact all they would do was order a new engine. I called around and talked to several shops, settling on Autobahn because they seemed the most straight forward about my car and the work it would take.
4 months later I have her back and running better then ever. It was not easy, and in fact had several serious hiccups related to suppliers of parts we needed. Kent and his team were always straight with me, honest, discussed all the options and handled all the supplier issues for me. Despite the whole ordeal never going according to plan, I could not be happier.
I now have a better performing vehicle, with several nice upgrades, for several thousand less then what the dealer wanted to fix stock.
I have rarely dealt with mechanics with this calibre of quality and integrity. So much so that I will no longer send my wife and her car to the dealer, rather to Autobahn. They have made a customer for life!

I brought in my 2008 ML350 for a weird suspension noise when I go over speed bumps. My vehicle was in inspected in a timely manner and very thoroughly. Jason, the service manager was very knowledge on the vehicle and the type of issues that typically arise. They ended up doing some minor adjustments (secured the spare tire that was making noises), topped off my fluids, performed a all around check, filled my tires up with air.
When I went to pay for the service Jason said no charge because they didn’t perform any actual labor on the car in terms of repair. I was amazed!!! I didn’t think honest service shops like this existed anymore, especially being specialized in German cars. It’s usually an arm and a leg for any small piece or service. That goes to show there are good people that run a honest upfront business. If you have a German car who needs specialize attention, take your car to Jason. I picked this place because of other Unilocal reviewers and now I’m writing one because I was very satisfied with their level of service.

Great dealership alternative with personal attention. Scheduling was a breeze. Pricing was reasonable. Small-​ish waiting area has free wi-​fi, beverages and snacks. Myself and another customer were offered a free lunch– which we both declined. Who does this anymore? I will be back.

Honest and upfront what more could you ask for?
They are caring and professional and treated me like a person not a dollar sign.
From the time I got a hold of Jason and got a Phone estimate nothing changed. There were no hidden charges what he told me was exactly what it would be. They even went above and beyond. Double, Triple checking my vehicle and found a hose that needed to be replaced but they took care of it for me.
I will recommend this place to anyone. I see this as my go to for whatever I will need in the future.

My previous review of Autobahn happened to fall right before new ownership took over, and while I found the standards to be as high then as they are now, this shop has become unbelievably better.
Before the waiting room was a straight back chair sitting at a falling down desk with dog hair everywhere and the smell of engine permeating everything. Now, it’s truly a showroom where you want to wait for your expensive car to be worked on!
Kent, the new owner, has revamped this place and it looks like a million bucks. The shop is so clean and shiny you could eat off the floors (where they do oil changes!). The waiting room is sleek and comfortable with drinks and donuts sometimes (or most days I think, thankfully they’re so good at their job I don’t have to visit much). The atmosphere says ‘class’ where before it said ‘garage sale.’ The transformation has been amazing.
Kent is a hands-​on kind of owner. I have spoken to him at length about the things my car needed and he takes excellent care of me. I wouldn’t want anyone else taking care of my car (when I’m there). His shop, his people, they know their stuff, they’re very kind and extremely affordable. I’m always, always surprised at how much it doesn’t cost me when I drive away in my clean (they wash it!) Mercedes. I LOVE this place, I’m forever a customer.

Dishonest. I went in for a diagnosis of a transmission leak and when they got back to me they started telling me about all these «leaks» on my engine, ignoring why i came in. Next they tell me my oil was low, which it was not (i check it frequently) and I was also told they sprayed down everything thoroughly for the diagnosis. When I got home and looked, I realized I was lied to once again. Good place for dumb rich people.

I had quite a bit of work done on my BMW M3 with the previous owner. After Kent, the new owner took over, I got flyer in the main informing me of the owner change with a coupon for a certain % off. I was in need of the expensive valve adjustment so I went and had that done. I talked to Jason about also replacing the rear quarter window exterior lower molding. He said it would be no problem. A tool that they use of the valve adjustment broke so I had to go back again for the valve adjustment after they got a new tool. I didn’t complain about this as it cost me more for a rental car. After getting the car completely done, I noticed a small scratch creeping out from under the new molding they had installed. Unfortunately, it was right where you would always see it on the drivers side. Kent and Jason were very accommodating, calling over Enrique who did the work which he then said he may have done it. At that point Kent told me to go out to a body shop in Mesa which he has a relationship with and get them to take care of it. Kent assured me that they are BMW certified and all. After following up several times, finally I learned that Kent was not willing to pay for whatever Red Mountain Collision wanted. At that point, Kent told me he would look into finding more of a «touch up» guy to do the work. After following up twice, he still had not found anyone. What a surprise! I then found a place I had used before recommended by Chapman BMW, Ultimate Touch Ups. I got a quote from them and again he was not happy with the price. Next he got some buddy who was a custom car painter to attempt to repair it there at Autobahn. I rented a car. Apparently, that didn’t work and they took the car to some other body shop and got it fixed. It looked great except that when the stuck the new molding back down, it was off by about ¼ inch to the front of the car and caused interference while opening and shutting the door. When I showed Kent this he got belligerent. He made comments about how my car wasn’t perfect anyway and couldn’t believe I was complaining about ¼ inch. Hmmm… hope that wasn’t his attitude while my valves were being adjusted! It was a very awkward moment, myself and Kent arguing while Jason, level headed, was trying to calm the situation. Eventually I just said I would take care if it myself. And by the way, I’m looking at the car rental receipt right now which was $ 140.00 which I didn’t have the heart to ask for at that time. Kent is a not the right person to deal with the public. His technician, Enrique used something metal to remove double face taped molding which was absurd. If the couldn’t do the job I would have done it myself but I would have used a plastic putty knife with some Goof Off and taken my time. Now, I noticed that rusty water was running out from under that molding. I bought a new molding to replace myself since it wasn’t positioned correctly and underneath I found that it is gouged in several places down to bare metal. I guess they did the bare minimum job to repair it. I have pictures but do not see a way to attach them. I wouldn’t recommend Autobahn to even haul an outhouse down the street. Here is an email from Kent when he was complaining about how much the touch up work would cost where he through in a comment about how I got a discount using the coupon he sent to me as if I shouldn’t want my scratch fixed because I got the discount. This is what you are dealing with folks! He’s quoting a discount on a $ 900 valve adjustment job.

I have a copy of the Original Repair Order and the total cost of the Left Side Window Molding was $ 146.57 and that’s Parts & Labor (B1 Gasket Rail $ 28.84, B1 Outer Weather Gasket $ 46.48, Labor $ 71.25). Also noted on the Repair Order #12 579 I gave you a $ 150.36 DISCOUNT.
I am more than happy to refund the $ 146.57 that the Left Side Window molding parts and labor cost.

I went to Ultimate Auto Touch-​Ups today and got a quote which is attached. I feel comfortable what they are going to do and believe they can get it back to nearly how it was before it was scratched. However, in order to do that, I will need to remove the trim under the left side quarter window that you replaced. Ultimate doesn’t want to deal with removing that trim and since it is attached via adhesive, it cannot easily be lifted to get any paint under it. I’ll install a new one once the paint is completed.
That said, here is what I need to get the car repaired. I am not interested in any credit

I was not impressed by my visit here. I brought my car in because of a misfire and check engine light. I decided to wait for the car. While I waited, Jason at the front desk had to deal with ordering the wrong parts for a customer’s car. He called all over town trying to get the correct parts that day, but was unable to find it in stock anywhere. So he had to call the car’s owner and tell him about a «delay.» Next, some person complained because they asked the shop to do something, that was on the paperwork, but was not done. And he also yelled at some customer service person because some program there wasn’t working. All pretty eyebrow raising stuff.
Then it came to my car. After the diagnostics he told me that 5 of my coil packs and all of my spark plugs were fouled. This just didn’t seem right. This isn’t the sort of thing that happens all of a sudden, which is what happened to me. One minute fine, the next minute, misfire and check engine light on. I tried to push him to do the minimum possible, but he said that was the minimum possible. Total estimate was over $ 800. I opted not to do it and took the car home. The tech had reset the light and it drove home completely fine. No light, no misfire.
Since my husband needed the car for a trip that night, we went ahead and purchased six coil packs and a set of spark plugs (total price $ 230). When we pulled them we were pretty upset, but not surprised, to find that the spark plugs were fine! Not only that, they were probably changed out only 20,000 miles ago. One of the spark plugs was a little greasy, and my guess is that this was the coil pack that was actually bad– not the other four.
I’d like to take the old coil packs to another shop to get them tested. I’m pretty sure they were not all bad like this shop led me to believe. Do yourself a favor– avoid this place. Unless you like waiting too long for service, asking for stuff that doesn’t get done, and being lied to.

Had a 1995 Mercedes Wagon broken down on the side of the highway. This was at 5:30pm and my wife and myself were stressed and concerned as this was our only car.
Jason took all this in stride gave me the number for his tow truck driver and stayed late to take delivery of the vehicle without me or my wife having to get to the vehicle or the shop.
Dropped off the keys the next day and they proceeded to do a $ 95 diagnostic. After a few hours I get a call detailing a long list of items that need replacement and the price tag that would entail up to that point in time. WOAH! To much for me. Jason was totally even keel when I said «can you just put it back together?» When I explained to him that was more than I was willing to pay to have the vehicle running again he said «I understand, I will charge you for the tow and NOT the diagnostic since it is not something you plan on fixing, I just wouldnt feel right.»
How awesome is that? VERY VERY AWESOME!!!

Great Euro auto shop. Extremely professional and always helpful with an explanation. Expansive knowledge of aftermarket performance upgrades. I always recommend them to friends and family.

Took my 335i to Autobahn to have some Dinan parts installed. They did a great job and the prices are way cheaper than the dealer. If someone says else wise, they must not have been to a BMW dealer in the last 25 years. Big props to Autobahn for their attention to detail, reasonable prices and great service work.

I’ve been bringing my 1998 M3 BMW to Autobahn for nearly 3 years now. That is a pic of it next to this review. Looks pretty good for a 16 year old vehicle eh? It runs even better and that is thanks to the experts at the Autobahn. I’ve had everything from repairs to upgrades done to my car at the Autobahn and the best way to put it is that I’ve never lost a dollar that I’ve spent here. It can really help to take the sting out of the cost of a repair to know your money isn’t being wasted. Not to mention that despite the high quality of work their prices are very reasonable! Trust is the most important thing with a mechanic and these guys have got mine. I’ve referred a number of friends to go here and will continue to do so. I appreciate the work they do and I encourage anyone to bring their vehicle here.
