Christine Face and Body is a boutique skincare studio located in downtown Mercer Island. We specialize in customized treatments for our clients using Dermalogica Skincare and we are pleased to announce the addition of the HydraFacial machine. We also offer Youngblood mineral makeup and massage therapy by skillful hands. All of our treatments are designed to provide maximum results for each individual client. Our trained estheticians, makeup artists and massage therapist have over 50 years of combined experience. We look forward to having you visit our studio

Established in 2008.

Christine has beeen a licensed Esthetician since 1990 with specialties including Micro-​Current Technology, Mineral Make-​Up, Acne Treatments and Brazilian Waxing. With more than 20 years in the esthetics industry, Christine has knowledge in all aspects of skincare, waxing and makeup.

Business Owner

Christine Poythress has been a licensed Esthetician since 1990. She interested in new technology to enhance one’s skin and keeps current with skincare trends with education and research. Some of Christine’s specialties include Oxygen facials with micro-​current technology, Mineral Make-​Up, Teen Acne Treatments and Brazilian Waxing. Christine has been hailed as the waxing queen.

When not working in her busy skin care studio, Christine enjoys being a mother to 8 year old daughter Leila where she lives on Mercer Island with her family. Christine is passionate about what she does and loves helping clients look and feel their best.

I LOVED my treatment with Christine and her staff. I got what is called «THE WORKS» and with it I was completely pampered with a facial, leg wax, massage, lash tint and semi permanent mascara application. At one point I had 3 people working on me at once. I’ve never experienced anything like it, I felt like a princess. Christine’s space is beautiful and serene and my face glowed for days after my treatments. Thank you!

I’ve been seeing seeing Christine for facials and waxing for years. She is professional, friendly, and knows her product. I also like that Christine makes product recommendations that are helpful, not pushy. I have also seen Jamie for massages, and Caitlin for waxing — they were both great!

I recently had my eyebrow waxed by Christine. And that was the MOST professional service I’ve ever expirienced. I always worry when I go to some nail salon to get my brow done. Some esthetician don’t even ask what look that I like and they always in such hurry! By the time when it’s done I look at my brow in the mirrow I always feel that they look the same as theirs?!
Christine is so knowlageble. She’s great at communication and she gives very sincere consultation. I plan to see her regularly and get my facials from her as well.
If you’re looking for a good esthetician, call Christine, you won’t be disapointed!

I love Christine Face and Body for ANY occasion. Recently she did mine and all my bridal party’s make up– PERFECTLY. I have to admit we were looking pretty good. She uses YoungBlood make up and Dermalogica skin products, which I love. I also see Christine for waxing, facials and massages. They are very professional and accommodating. They are so knowledgeable there, that I can mention and issue, she treats it and offers and product that always works. Wouldn’t trust anyone else! Thanks Christine Face and Body!!!

I had my first facial with Christine yesterday and thought she was wonderful! Not only is she totally professional, but she is also very knowledgeable about skincare and product, and she gives an amazing facial massage.
She has a great location with plenty of parking, the whole experience was perfect and my skin looks and feels amazing!!! Oh, and she’s a nice person:)

Christine is amazing! She is very professional yet gives a caring personal touch to her clients. My face was a complete disaster and I was desperate to get an appointment to get some immediate help. She was very responsive and flexible in scheduling; she even called me back to get me in earlier when an opening came up. Due to her products and techniques, there was an immediate improvement in my skin. Since then I’ve set up regular facials and my skin keeps improving with each visit.

I recomment Christine to all of my friends for their waxing. Brazillians are not the most comfortable things to get, showing all of your goods, but Christine makes it so easy. It make me comfortable the first time that I went in because she just worked fast and efficiently. I like that she tested the temperature of the wax on her arm before putting it on me to make sure it wasn’t too hot. I just feel comfortable going to her!

I know that everyone has a right to express their opinions, but when someone is maliging another, then I feel it important to set the record straight! I have been a very satisfied client for a year or more. I have always found the service excellent, and the owner, Christine, a generous, kind, gentle and caring person. They have always bent over backwards to accommodate me and it is nothing but a pleasure to walk into their very cozy but professional salon. I would unhesitatingly recommend Christine to anyone who wants excellent service and a nurturing and welcoming environment.

You have to book months in advance to get an appointment because of their limited staff and hours. Owner even hung up on me once. Once I arrived for my facial they had booked the wrong day! (After month’s of waiting) they offered no apology or compensation.

Christine at Christine’s Face and Body is the kind of esthetician that reminds me why I started getting facials in the first place. She has all the fun facial equipment if you like the techy stuff but her touch is beautiful if you just want an hour to feel good and look better too. And mostly, she’s just a cool person who knows what she’s doing and does it with integrity and professionalism. Not an easy thing to find these days.

I love Christine of Christine Face & Body. I really look forward to seeing her for any treatment and I really wish I could do more. (Darn rent to pay!) I have been getting brazillian waxes and facials from Christine for over a year now and she is professional, but not stuffy. She tailors each treatment to your needs and always makes me feel special. Don’t forget, if you re-​book your appointment with her before you leave, you get 10% off your next appointment… awesome!
