Marcy is the first hairdresser in Memphis who has heard what I want for my hair and done exactly that! She’s kind, careful, and quick. I always leave feeling like a million bucks. I haven’t found a hairdresser that does my hair justice like her for at least two years! So thankful for her here at Salon 387.

After moving to Memphis last year, I held out as long as I could to get my haircut. I ended up choosing a place that was cheaper, and paid for it with a bad haircut. After a couple months of growing it out, I did my research and landed at 387. Their website has an online scheduling feature which is super convenient, and I was able to get an appointment the next day. I was put with Rachel, who was very patient in listening to what I did and didn’t like, and after hearing her thoughts during the consultation, I knew I was in good hands. I ended up going for a blunt bob, and she was very thorough in making sure all of the ends sat right. I will definitely be going back to get balayage in the future, and will be recommending the salon to all of my friends.

I recently moved back to Memphis after many years and was unsure where I could get (frankly) a non-​Southern, short, and modern haircut. Not only did Rachel give me a great cut and a-​ma-​zing balayage color, she is a super cool human with some great short hair herself. The whole experience from beginning to end– easy free street parking, great atmosphere both in the salon and down in Stock & Belle… highly recommend.

Recently switched to Salon 387 from Pavo for price and convenience to where I live downtown. After a cut and color with Marcie I’m both impressed with the knowledge and skill of my stylist and yet still relaxed feel of the salon. With businesses going toward experiential environments this one does not disappoint, everything from the architecture to the lighting and music reminds you that you are downtown, treating yourself, and even able to enjoy a mural/​street view while and some wine while you get a cut. Ample parking available for those not walking. I don’t think you could go wrong with anyone here but Marcie has me hooked!

I will be back! My stylist, Kate was awesome! She fixed the bad hair dye I gave myself, took a lot of extra time to make sure my hair color was right. And they worked me in quick. They do take walk ins. While she mixed the dye I was given a yum mimosa– mmmm.
The clothing store/​art gallery/​small organic food selections and place to hang out – great place– Stock Belle run by a very nice guy– Chad. Go get your hair done at Salon 387, eat some cheese and drink a local beer, by a new shirt and look at local artist work or even buy a piece.

I recently followed my hair dresser, Chase to Salon 387 and I love this place!!! As soon as I walk up the spiral stair case, I feel like all my worries of the day are gone. The people there make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Stock and Belle, which is downstairs, is great too! I recommend this place to everyone I know. Keep up the good work.

Love Salon 387 and my stylist, Marcie. The salon is gorgeous and I enjoy getting to have a mimosa or a glass of wine while getting my hair done. I love everything about it. I love the downtown aspect of it and the super cool feel from the moment you walk in. I’ve been going to Marcie for years and absolutely adore her.

I am beyond over scared of getting my hair cut– let’s just say it was a full year since the last time I did. First of all they give you a Mimosa which definitely helped me calm down, it is a beautiful space and the employees are so friendly. Now as far as my hair I cannot rave enough about Elaine. If you want wonderful color, a great cut, a reassuring and extremely talented stylist I cannot recommend her more! Best salon experience ever.

I cannot rave about this salon more. Wallis is an old friend, and when I heard about their new salon opening, I knew I had to check it out. Everyone is so friendly, the place is GORGEOUS, and it’s extremely clean! Wallis is by far the best hair stylist around! Book an appointment with her… NOW!!!

Salon 387 is an amazing salon downtown! If you are looking for a unique experience then this is the place to go! They offer mimosa, wine, and even local beers with any service! Also have an amazing barber for men! And for brides they offer a special bridal room to accommodate you and your bridesmaids on your special day! Go check them out ASAP!
