Stop & Shop Supermarket

I must say my review would not usually be a 5star here, but today was a different day. I went in as usual to do my weekly shopping and I’m dreading it bc A don’t like grocery shopping and B I usually have a not so great experience. I just wanted to point out the lady that bagged my groceries was very pleasant and super helpful. The cart that I had chosen had something slimy and possibly raw all over it and my wallet and hands were contaminated and she went and brought me back antibacterial wipes. She made my experience better and if stop & shop had more employees like her I would probably shop more often. Her name was Christine and I was in stop & shop around 2:30pm so everyone that wants to shop and have a decent experience I strongly recommend you go at this time. (Tuesday) :)

Near to where I live so its convenient and store looks decent and clean. Obviously Stop and Shops are pretty expensive than Market Basket but the stuffs might be fresh and good quality.

Ok I’ve had enough of the rotten produce. I’m going to Shaw’s down the street. You should too.

Quite a decent, new, big huge, clean modern supermarket with tons of stuff and different sections.

This is a brand new store.
That being said, it’s about as clean as a 40 year old store. You can smell the fish counter from 50 feet away. It is not a good thing.
There were three trashy girls (employees) hanging out at the service desk. Ghetto.
The cold cuts were not as inexpensive as Shaw’s/Star and not as high quality as WFM.
