We are Experts! I know every one says this but in our case it is true. Our owner Derek Christian spent 12 years at Procter & Gamble where he learned about cleaning technology. Read more about Derek in the next section.

If there is an award, we probably won it! My Maid Service has consistently won awards for our quality service. We have won the best in the city award from City Search and the Angie’s List Super Service Award multiple times. We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. We have also won international awards from the Association of Cleaning Services International.

We are local! My Maid Service is the largest independent locally owned residential cleaning company. We are not a franchise. All locations of My Maid Service are owned and operated by the Christian family.

My Maid Service has been in business since 1996 when it started with a single mother/​daughter team cleaning homes. They built the company to 10 employees based in Lebanon when Derek Christian was leaving Procter & Gamble in 2008 looking for a new adventure. Since then My Maid Service has grown to be the largest independent cleaning company in Cincinnati and has gone on to open offices in Dayton and 3 locations in the DFW are of Texas, which are operated by Shawn Christian. Quality control, and the science of cleaning (which chemicals to use where) have been at the core of our companies educational principals for our staff. As such, My Maid Service has won multiple local and national awards including awards from the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International for best cleaner and best office staff.

Don’t waste your money. We had them come come by to clean our house before listing it for sale and we explained that when we asked them to come by. They did such a horrible job. The floors had crumbs, the windows were smeared, the oven was a mess. They didn’t scrub the tub or sinks. Such a waste of money.
When we called to complain, they hung up. I’d never use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone else. I would use zero stars if I could.

I had the spring cleaning service; I’ve had cleaning services for years and not one has ever wiped down the baseboards. Thank you for doing the big jobs all the way to the often overlooked little things.
I’m amazed at the difference, my house glows!

We have been using My Maid Service for the past three years or so and love the company. We get the same maid every time so she know our preferences and is even sweet enough to take care of our two pups (letting them out and giving them treats) while she’s there. The pricing is reasonable, but the selling point to me is the company is bonded and insured, and takes care of their maids. The owner is a nice guy and wants to make the customer happy. I feel comfortable enough with the company that I have my cleanings scheduled when I am at work. I cringe when I hear of people using a person who is doing this business independently and have heard horror stories of stained granite or poor quality service with no other option than to find another maid. My Maid Service is a quality company that takes care of both the customer and their employees.
In response to another review, once my regular maid was out sick and I got another maid. She forgot to vacuum the guest room. A quick phone call later she came out and fixed it that day within a few hours. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about My Maid Service and after three years of service I am a very pleased customer.

This was our first time using maid services. The initial sales call was detailed and the the representative was proud of the product they provide. She was able to answer any questions I had prior to the first clean. At their recommendation we opted for an initial deep cleaning. When they arrived they were all very polite and spoke English, so I was easily able to convey what areas I wanted them to focus on. There was a crew of three which included a team lead to provide direction and ensure that the clean went as efficiently as possible. The three ladies worked the entire 2 ½ish hours they were there. Overall great clean and great value!

We would never recommend this company based on the quality of work they did when we hired them for a «whole house clean.» As my wife exclaimed while she examined the filthy rag after going over the staircase banister, «we just had five people in here that were supposed to be cleaning and our house is still dirty!»
It was a bad experience from start to finish, they were late and more worried about leaving by 5 than cleaning thoroughly. Since they arrived more than 1 hour late but wouldn’t stay late to finish, several extra maids arrived for the final 60 minutes. Most of that time was spent gabbing with each other and arguing about who could go home when.
When we saw the bill we realized we were being asked to pay almost $ 100 extra for the «extra labor.» Understand, we had just bought this home from a family who had been living there for the past 10 years. The home was not a disaster by any means. It just needed a thorough cleaning, which it DID NOT get.
So far we have spent about 2 hours since they left re-​doing the areas that were not cleaned. They missed an entire walk-​in closet, a set of blinds, multiple wall sconces and – most infuriating – the doors and baseboards are still grimy with fingerprints.
We should not be able to gently wipe these surfaces with a wet rag and see so much dirt coming up after spending $ 300+!
We will be finishing up the work they didn’t do tomorrow and asking for a significant reduction in the cost billed.
The ladies were nice enough and dog-​friendly, but I would not trust them to work without constant, direct and time-​consuming supervision.

I recently signed up with My Maid Service and have loved the attention that they have given my home — from everything to buying special cleaners for my floors to giving my dogs a little extra attention while they are here. I have had several maid services through the years and have found them to be the best all around. They are prompt, friendly and always a joy to work with.

I’ve used them once for a spring cleaning. The price is not the highest but not cheap either. A crew of ladies came and got the job done within a reasonable time frame, BUT they missed few places (some window sills and a ceiling fan). When I mentioned about it over the phone, I was offered to have a follow up clean. The follow up appointment was at 3:30 with a request of 30 mins call ahead. 3:30 came and nobody showed and no phone call. Finally, I just decided to call them and cancel it because I had no time to wait around for them. Not too happy with the service, will not use again. Oh, one more thing is the smell of the products that they use is very strong. Of course it’s always an option to provide your own products, but if i am paying so much for the work I prefer not to spend extra money on the products.

I’ve been using My Maid Service in McKinney for nearly a year now. The same group of ladies comes to clean my house every time. If there ever is a substitution because of vacation or illness, the main office always calls to let me know ahead of time. They ask for feedback after each cleaning, and any time I’ve asked them to do something next time they’ve always accommodated. I get a call reminder before each cleaning, and the main office is always super helpful when I call with questions or to reschedule. I highly recommend My Maid Service McKinney!

I’ve been very pleased with My Maid Service. They’ve been cleaning my house for quite a few months now, and their service has been excellent. I’m pretty OCD about my house and how it’s cleaned, and the ladies from My Maid Service have really done well with the big things and the details alike. They always dust every surface in the house, and when they’re done they always put everything back where it belongs, which I appreciate. They’re always prompt and on time, and they have yet to ever ask to reschedule a cleaning appointment. The prices are extremely competitive, and they spend a good amount of time for the price. I’ve had other cleaning services and individuals, and I always got fed up when they’d show up at my house and somehow be done cleaning it in an hour. That hasn’t happened with My Maid Service. I highly recommend them!

They have been cleaning our house for over a year now, and they have always done a great job. Misty had been the one cleaning our house and she is wonderful. The company is not big and the owner is very accessible, and willing to help with any issues.
It’s nice knowing that we can trust the service and the maid that is coming into our house ever other week. Every cleaning they go the extra mile on a certain area. One time it might be the baseboards in a certain room, the next time it may be the ceiling fans.
I highly recommend them!
