Meet the Business Owner

Cindy and Gary R.

Business Owner

Cindy and Gary bought the McCloud Hotel in July of 2015. Cindy is a 3rd generation restaurant and hotel owner with her parents and grandparents owning hospitality properties in the Midwest. Cindy was born in Omaha and grew up in Carroll, Iowa while Gary was born in Wichita, Kansas and grew up in Casper, Wyoming. They moved to McCloud from Santa Monica, CA to enjoy living closer to nature, great outdoor recreation, and fabulous air and water. Did we mention less traffic too! They are updating the rooms and look and feel of this 100 year old Hotel. Every aspect of the Hotel’s details and operations reflect the owner’s passion and enthusiasm for the business. They have also added the Sage Restaurant focusing on local, organic, homemade thoughtful cuisine.

The McCloud Hotel sets forth a high standard of quality and excellence in hospitality that puts the owners personal stamp on the Hotel and its surroundings, and on the hospitality, service and cuisine they provide.
