Customer satisfaction is most important to us. All work will be performed by in-​house staff; we will not use sub-​contractors. Your project will be managed by the same person from first contact through to project completion including installation.

Established in 2008.

Lane’s Flooring & Tile has only been in business for seven years, but has 15 years of experience in the flooring trades, with a combined experience of over 50 years. Our small crew has been working together for well over a decade, creating a tight-​nit, reliable team that never fails to complete a job above and beyond all expectations.

I was born and raised in Martinez, CA. I grew up racing motorcycles. At the age of fifteen, I began working every weekend including winter/​spring/​summer break for Superior Floor Covering out of Concord, CA to support my racing passion.

Upon graduating high school I was hired full time at the journeyman level for Superior. I quickly learned all aspects of the business including estimating, ordering, sales, installation and repairs.

It was a challenge being the youngest of my work peers but I learned that my high standards for quality and efficiency would separate me from the rest.

This lead me to starting my own Tile and Flooring business, where I could act on the ideas and passion I had for the Flooring and Tile Industry.

I always strive to excel in all that I do. Having customers that are more than satisfied with my work product and ethic is evidence to my belief.

Lane’s Flooring recently installed hardwood flooring throughout my entire house. Mickey and his crew had to remove tile flooring in the kitchen and family room and old hardwood throughout the entire rest of the house. They accomplished the grueling demo in three days including cleaning up and hauling the debris away each day. Another two days was spent meticulously leveling and prepping the sub-​flooring getting it ready for the new hardwood. The last three days was in the installation of the hardwood floors and the baseboards.
I can’t speak highly enough of the skill and expertise that went into each process, particularly the leveling process. We now have beautiful, level floors throughout the entire house.
The business side of the transaction was as stated and professional. I would highly recommend Lane’s Flooring and Tile.

We recently had Lane’s flooring install hardwood on our stairway, hallway and upstairs study. Everything was done to our complete satisfaction. I would use Lane’s again and would recommend it to others.
P. S. Not sure why one person made the comment that Lane’s back out from a job after accepting it. For us everything was as promised. We received prompt response and attention, and they show up promptly during the entire project.

I received two quotes right before the holidays, 1) Shaw Flooring — referred by Costco and 2) Lane’s flooring. The Costo contractor just gave me a verbal quote, he didn’t break anything down, didn’t talk about quality of products… nothing. Then he rushed out because he said he had to drive home in traffic. Mickey (Lane’s Flooring) took his time to break down the costs, from quality of products to types of baseboards. My realtor was with me during both appointments and he was impressed with Mickey. Mickey emailed me a quote with everything broken down, so I didn’t need to figure out… cost of carpet (for example). I was very indecisive with types of flooring so Mickey advised me to go to a flooring showroom — ProSource– Concord to help assist me with better quality products and ones that fit my families lifestyle which is stress free, dog and rowdy kid friendly. Demolition /​Insulation took one week — 1st week in January. Mike and Rickey were awesome. They worked so fast, I don’t think they took a break, lol. Also when I informed Mickey that I was having a very heavy bed delivered, there 4 guys working in my house to accommodate this! I waited about three months to post this because I wanted to live with these floors to give my honest opinion.1) Everyone that walks in my house comments how great the floors look and comments how impressed they are with the installation. 2) no mistakes. Tried to find some, but couldn’t 3) love love my floors! I definitely recommend Lane’s Flooring, you will be happy with the results!
Oh btw I went with Vinyl plank flooring -(waterproof, no scratches from dog) & carpet (type goes between your toes)!

After a terrible carpet install a couple of years ago from a big box store, I searched Unilocal for a small business to help us this time around. Upon reading the great reviews about Mickey, I decided to give him a call for an estimate of carpet and tile. I called after 5 o’clock and left a message, not expecting a response until the next day. Within 5 minutes, he was calling me back! He agreed to meet us when we were having our inspection on the house we were in contract for.
He was on time to measure and so friendly. What I liked the most was that he really listened to us and answered all our questions. Originally, we wanted to do tile throughout the entire downstairs. We wanted to go with a tile that looked like hardwood. Mickey explained that he would need to get some samples of that tile and that he would drop those off along with carpet samples. We realized later that the tile was over our budget for the entire downstairs and asked if he could provide a quote for carpet downstairs, but have tile in the master bathroom and guest bathroom upstairs. He provided a quote quickly and we decided to proceed. Mickey was really patient because we got delayed on closing the house about a week. He also helped us to decide on a carpet that would work best for us with two small children.
They installation started the Tuesday after Labor day. We were really impressed with how much they got done the first day. They ripped out all the old carpet, laid the new pad and had already started the tile work on both bathrooms. By Thursday they were done! I was so impressed with their attention to detail. I was nervous about our recently painted baseboards getting dinged up with the carpet install, but Mickey and his team did a great job! No touch up needed! And the tile looks AMAZING! They did such a great job and I love how clean they left everything.
We will not hesitate to use Mickey again in the future! We hope one day to actually be able to afford tile in the downstairs and I know who I am going to call! I am recommending Mickey to anyone I know needing flooring. Thank you Mickey!

Lane’s Flooring was the 6th place I looked at and I’m glad I did. I found the other companies pushing particular brands of wood on me which I found inferior or they wouldn’t do things like move the furniture or re-​tack down the carpet.
Micky put down BBR tiger wood in my dining room, kitchen and installed tile in my entry which he boadred in tiger wood. He was quick, clean and professional. I think the job was done in about 5 day, including taking out the old floor. Micky’s bid came in considerably lower than the other places I check by over $ 1000. I whole heartily recommend this company

I have had extensive experience on 2 different projects working with Mickey Lane, who is the owner and project manager of Lane’s Flooring & Tile. I would recommend his services to anyone. Mickey offers an impressive combination of excellent workmanship, customized service, and competitive pricing that is hard to beat. What a great value! Mickey is involved in all aspects of the business and you can rest assured that you will be dealing directly with someone who won’t hesitate to go out of his way to complete the project to your satisfaction. From my own experience on the 2 projects I did with Mickey, a complete hardwood floor replacement on the 1st floor and a complete carpet replacement on the 2nd floor, I confidently conclude that I have made the right decision in going with Mickey. His performance was excellent from the beginning till the end and my requests for special materials e.g. patterned & textured carpet, Santa Fe baseboards in solid pine, etc. were met with courtesy and integrity. Mickey also put personal touches into his work, smoothing out the details with meticulous care, without asking for anything extra. He considers it part of his job to do a job that surpasses the norm.
