It’s ok … So much potential … If you become a regular your good to go free drinks and good service … Otherwise Mediocre at best … Full reset needed on this joint !

Pretty good bar. Sometimes needs to be a little more clean but good food and they give you popcorn for free :)

The place is awful, you go in there you see the same three or four miserable people every single night, bartenders are unhappy and miserable also, just save your money and go somewhere else

Two adults arrived to an empty bar for weekday lunch. Service was attentive only until five more people showed up, at which point the waitress/bartender lost interest. The one guy at the end of the bar got a lot of service though. Still feeling my hamburger five hours later — it arrived rare-to-medium-rare although I asked for it medium. My child’s Sprite arrived as plain seltzer — the line was down and apparently had to be replaced. On the plus side, my wife enjoyed her fried chicken salad(I know, but it seemed to work), the child’s hot dog was two rather than one and came with a massive side, and the tater tots are novel for northern N.J. Had to wait an awful long time to find our server to ask for a box and a check, and she never came around to collect it because she was too busy jawing with the guy at the end of the bar. So I had to walk it up. I hate that. The Guinness($ 5) and Long Trail($ 4.50) were good. I question the service and the kitchen, however, especially during a dead lunch with a total of eight people.

If you’re looking for a place to go with good food and good people, O’Reilly’s is the place. The wings can’t be beat and the burgers are great. It’s one of the few places left where you walk in and just feel welcomed. Whether you want to grab a drink with friends on the weekend or catch a game during the week, O’Reilly’s is the place. Great staff, great food, great neighborhood feel.

This is a bar Maplewood New Jersey that is more of a dive then a nice bar. However the feel is very warm and is a good place to go. They have many beers on tap and they have a pool table and free popcorn. However the big selling point for this bar is the wings. These are hands-down the best wings in New Jersey that I have found and makes this place a destination for Wings lovers. The five alarm wings are to die for. 5 stars for th eings and three stars for the bar gives this a four star rating.

A reasonably good go-to bar. Nice selection of draft beer — I had Leinie’s shandy, others had Sam’s summer($ 15 a pitcher, not shabby), and it’s still 50 degrees in April. Food isn’t outstanding, but they do a good job on it — my burger came out pink all the way through. The wings look meaty. You can have tater tots as a side. I didn’t see a single morsel of food get brought back from our table of 6, even the lettuce garnish. I’ve been here a few times now, and it’s growing on me. They claim they can make their 5-alarm wing sauce as hot as I want. I’m gonna test it next time.

O’Reilly’s is great for what it is. It definitely is a dive bar, not sure why someone said it wasn’t. I’ve been here many times and there never seem to be more than 10 customers, maybe 12. Pretty much everyone is sitting at the bar, drinking bottled beer, and is a regular through and through. Pitchers of Coors Light are cheap and taste delicious(Not sure how they make Coors light taste so good). Wings are some of the best in the area, and they’ll work with you to use two different sauces if you’re splitting a plate of wings. The staff here really doesn’t GAF, they’ll sit down in the middle of the dining area and play on their phone, or poke their head out the kitchen and yell something to a customer. But that’s part of the dive feel, part of what makes the place so great. Don’t get me wrong — I gave them three stars — but I’m pretty fair in my overall rating — I love this place and will continue to come back.

I’ve been coming to O’reillys since its family-friendlier days back before they remodeled their bar over a decade ago. In all that time I’ve only ever ordered one item off their menu: the house sub, hot, with curly fries.(Back in their restauranty days, they had a ½ house sub on the kids menu.) The quality has always been consistent; in all these years I’ve only received one not-so-right sandwich. Also sat for drinks a few times. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere though the average patrons tend to be older, you’ll still find a few young folks to add some diversity. All in all, this place is a pretty solid local spot. It’s not fancy but you’ll get a decent bite to eat and a big, cold beer in your hand.

O’Reilly’s is a decent place, nothing fancy, doesn’t try to be anything it’s not. Just a pretty down-home place, not quite a dive but not a place you’d go for a remotely upscale experience. Wings are good sometimes but never great(it’s tough to be great). Steak salad was good once, not so good another time. Beer selection is good, prices are fair, and free popcorn is a plus. Edit: went back in July 2014 for lunch one day and had the wings again and this time they weren’t good at all — they were cooked enough but the temperature wasn’t hot, the sauce wasn’t great, and some of the wings were kind of gristly. I actually left a couple from just an order of 10 which I rarely if ever do. I mentioned to the bartender waitress that the wings weren’t so great and she said she wasn’t surprised because the cook was new or something — thanks for letting me know that in advance! So given this most recent visit, O’R is clinging to its 3-star rating in my book…

At first glance you wonder if the food here is safe to eat, but the staff are so friendly you take a chance. Good for you! You’re rewarded with a proper pint of Guinness, an excellent turkey club sandwich, and perfectly cooked tater tots. Good solid wings, decent beer selection.

I’m not one to frequent this place often, you’ll generally find me at cryans… #fail. I came here last week with my friend whose a «regular» and loves everything O’Reilly’s has to offer. It wasn’t packed for a Saturday night even though the game of the century(Alabama vs LSU) was on tv. I’d say about 20 people were here, 10 under 30, 3 over 30, 7 over 50. Take it as you like. The wings were good, I would go back and get some more! draft beer– $ 5, bottled domestic $ 3.50 how a bottle is cheaper, I don’t know? All in all, I would come back again. Definitely NO dancing. Where can you dance in NJ?

We live in the neighborhood and have been going to this place for about 20 years. This is a neighborhood pub. There is nothing fancy about it. But, you can go in your jeans and t-shirt after working in the yard all day and not feel uncomfortable, and that is a real bonus. They have a great selection of beers on tap, by the glass or pitcher. The food is ok. We stick to the burgers(order them a bit rarer than you like and they will be fine) and the pizza(a good deal at $ 10.) Both are tasty enough, and filling. Nothing gourmet, but nothing bad either. Be prepared to wait a really long time for food if they are busy. The waitresses are friendly, but they have NOT been trained and it really shows. The owner/boss is usually tending bar. We don’t sit at the bar, which seems to have a regular crowd and is often pretty busy. I guess it’s because we don’t sit at the bar, but the guy barely seems to recognize us after being regular customers for 20 years. His policy, as told to us by a long-time waitress, is to only buy drinks for people at the bar – never for people at the tables. It’s not that we’re such big drinkers(usually a beer each), but after twenty years… He might do well to re-think this policy. We go because it is close(we can walk), convenient and very casual, with lots of TVs to watch your choice of sporting events on, and nice(albeit less than stellar) servers. Sometimes we get frustrated by mediocre service and long waits for basic food.

From the outside this place looks normal. Once you wal in(front) you have a pool table occupied but what seems to be regulars and as you get past it, you have tables and the bar to the left. Once I met my gf and her sister at the bar(a tight squeeze although behind the bar seems more roomy than the bar itself) I could help but wonder what in the world are we doing here. Once I sat down, the bartender(wearing jean shorts which kind of gives you an idea of where you are) greeted me and then disappeared. Overall the barstaff was quite unattentive and aloof. They messed up my food order, which was simple, and took a while to bring us drinks. Most of the time he was on the phone or eating… kind of bizarre. The food was the saving grace! The burger was very good especially the bread. Their wings which state best in NJ were good but not the best. Fries, decent. Onion rings, good. My gf ordered a small chicken quesadilla which was ok. Very cheesy. The prices on the beers were on the high side. Not a real«happy hour» atmosphere unless you are local. Overall a decent place with a funny atmosphere. Good to visit and get a burger/beer but nothing more. Oh and parking is tight in the back.

This place is right down the street from my home. There is free popcorn, and a pool table. We love the wings! There is a good selection of beer, and they have a jukebox and a megatouch machine. Some people prefer Scotty’s in Springfield, but I think the atmosphere is more chill at O’reilly’s. All in all, this is probably my favorite bar in the area.
