Best ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten. No frills, great food. Decent prices

Their Jersey Classic is quite possibly the best Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese sandwich in the state. This place is an unsung hero in a town with some respected delis. It is frequented by cops and municipal workers, they know the secret! Oscar’s is solid.

I don’t understand the bad service reviews. Our waitress was friendly helpful and speedy. The chicken salad hero was great and the Cole slaw on top was a fine addition. The mac salad was ok. Would go back if I lived in the area

Wish they would use higher quality meats for their sandwiches.
Also, the cardinal sin; the vinegar and oil are in one bottle.

Really good food here and a wide variety of food as well. When my family needs an easy pick up of food we go here. They have nice portions of food and I personally like the grilled cheeses.

Overall its a great place, very good food, prices are fair and delivery is a plus. They do a great job catering as well.
Be warned, sometimes you will get something a bit different than you ordered, so if you don’t like surprises, avoid delivery.

Based on the reviews, I came here to pick up bagels for breakfast on a Saturday. It was about $ 3.50 for two plain bagels, without anything on them. Ridiculous! What a rip off. Bagels were hard, chewy and clearly had been left out.

We were looking for breakfast after arriving at Newark Airport on our way to Allentown.
This place met our criteria … Small, family owned, great marks for food from other Unilocalers!
Hubby ordered ham & cheese omelet with coffee & bagel. Why, he asks me, can’t all bagels taste like this one. One bite and I agree!
I had to have something with Ham. Seeing it fresh out of the oven & ready for slicing into my egg & cheese breakfast sandwich. I had a cuppa coffee too. Ham was wonderful! Coffee delicious.
Quick and friendly service. The owner made our breakfast! We read the local paper that was at the end of the counter for sharing while we noshed in quiet happiness. Bought some water for the road and we are rolling!

Best bacon egg and cheeses in town… they put lots of everything on it! Food is great! I work in town and eat there at least 4 times a week for either breakfast or lunch! Their paninis are great and they have the best coffee! One of my favorite places. Clean fresh and good what else you need! Prices are good too!

Top shelf. You can get a great breakfast lunch or dinner here. Old school counter and atmosphere and real good cooking. Love this place.

This is my favorite restaurant in Millburn and one of the best diners anywhere. I eat here a couple times every month when my wife comes here to visit friends. Unlike some of the trendier places, the environment is warm and unpretentious, the prices are sane and the food is always fantastic with huge portions. I was shocked to read some of the bad reviews about the take out service attitude because my experience has always been one of very friendly and accommodating staff and a waitress who smiles. My favorite is the Philadelphia pannini, but everything they make is yummy.

Breakfast: Great bacon and egg and other breakfast sandwiches!
Lunch: Boars Head meats, excellent bread and they use SHREDDED LETTUCE!!! (unlike some other deli’s around town) make for a great NY style deli sandwich

We have been ordering from this establishment for some time only because it is convenient and they deliver. Let’s start with the BAD attitude from the women who answers the phone. She acts like she is doing you a favor by taking your order. Then its a crap shoot whether your order is right. If you call and it is wrong, its an argument. My company of probably 60+ people order from this place on a daily basis. Appartently the owner does not appreciate the business because today when the order came 90 minutes after we called (and where not told that the wait was that long) and came so cold you couldn’t eat it, the answer was sorry I cant do anything about it. We won’t be going back there again, there are plenty other establishments we can spend our money at who appreciate the business.
I wanted to give them zero stars, but Unilocal wouldn’t let me. But that is what they deserve.

I ordered a platter for a birthday party. The platter was delicious, ready on time, and a reasonable price. They were courteous both when taking my order and at pickup.
I had been ordering from another nearby deli, who got the order wrong and were rude to me. I was happy when a friend recommended Oscars! I would recommend Oscars if you need a platter of sandwiches for a casual party.

My favorite local joint. There aren’t many places like this left.

Fresh, delicious food at a really fair price makes this place one of my favorites. Has the old school ambiance of a counter /​diner style lunch place. Wraps salads or entrée its all good here. Enjoy.
