This was a lovely experience for us. My boyfriend and I were just beginning our vacation, and this started it off nicely. The rooms are fairly small (it is an older house, after all), but clean.
This was the first place I’ve ever stayed where we didn’t have a TV in our room, and I have to say that was a really nice change. We found some hilarious board games in the common room and ended up laughing a lot.
Pros: Caring, friendly staff, very accommodating with dietary restrictions, great location, less expensive than a lot of other B&Bs in Manitou
Cons: The door to our bathroom couldn’t be latched (to be fair, we didn’t tell them that it was a problem), old house is rather creaky
