Stoopher & Boots

Great fun to shop at Stoopher and Boots. The Sparkle shirts are snappy, beautiful and fun. Toys appeal to my 6 and 9 year old twin boys and girls. The colorful backpacks were a big hit as were the lego sets and air hockey set.

Not only does Stoopher carry unique, fun and stylish kids clothing, but Stephanie (the owner) is part of our neighborhood. She makes a point to know parents and kids by name and, in a time where many shops don’t know anything about real customer service, she goes above and beyond!
So glad they’re just around the corner.

I buy all my gifts here. Wish someone would buy gifts for me too … :))) So many unique items that are made by local artists ~ love love love ~

I visited Stoopher & Boots in mid-​February to pick up some gifts for my friend’s baby shower. I found the cutest little baby booties/​slippers with a hippo print. (I have found that most of the time these types of shoes for babies are made of leather and since I am a vegetarian, I was really pleased these were made of a soft fabric instead.) I found a cloth book with great animal pictures and a wooden rattle-​safe for teething. I also purchased several baby gift cards that had been handmade with really cute baby carriage and onesie designs. My friend loved these gifts! This is a great shop to find gifts for baby showers. Next time I am back, I will take some more time to look at the jewelry to find something for myself too.

I used a same-​day Groupon and bought the cutest booties for my son that w/​out the Groupon would be way too expensive. Cute store nice staff

Great little store for everything that you would ever want for a little kid… The owner and her dog are so friendly that people even come in just to talk to her and get her advice on life. There should be more stores like this around New York. Highly recommended and her Cavalier King Charles spaniel is the cutest in the city!

Great service, friendly staff, creative options for clothing, and a neighborhood feel of comfort for those patronizing the store. This is surely a cut above the rest and well worth visits for unusual children trinkets, toys, garnishments, and of course courtier quality clothing.

This store is so amazing. The owner can always find a gift for someone. Even myself. I love she has such different things then other stores. And you know when you come in you always get a greeting from Scout. Did I mention i really love her jewellery.

Upon first glance, this place looks like it’s a children’s boutique, and I wandered in looking for a baby gift for a friend. But, the store has so much more, particularly jewelry (for adults!). It’s a great place to pick up a unique gift.
The owner is really helpful. Plus her dog Scout is real cute too. But she’s so friendly that if you are looking for a long time and don’t buy something you’ll leave feeling really guilty (or maybe that’s just my own complex). Whether I was guilted into it or not, I ended up buying my brother a pair of interesting cufflinks for his birthday. Yes they have cufflinks! Not something you would expect to find at this store.

What a wonderful shop! Full of of fun, creative, and whimsical pieces. Also very friendly and welcoming to grown-​ups and kids. Highly recommended!
