Quik Park

DO NOT PARK AT ANY QUIK PARKS! I used one of their locations in Queens, and on numerous occasions my car was returned to me with scratches on the door and on the bumper. The last time a huge scrape on my bumper cost me $ 350 to have repaired. Also, I wish I had looked up this company online first. If you check the better business bureau website, they have 28 complaints filed against them, the majority of which are for car damages! Also, they NEVER return phone calls, and their contact number always gives you their answering machine. Oh, and they also DON’T PAY for damages! Quik Park constantly tries to cheat on BestParking discounts and this one is no exception. They let us in and were ready to park but the moment I mentioned the BestParking discount they suddenly discovered that they can only park those who prepaid online.

UPDATE: Car was in good condition (no noticeable dents or issues), there was no fuss at all with picking it up, my phone was right where the guy said it was going to be, and it all ended up costing $ 12 (+$ 2 tip). GREAT deal for Manhattan, especially since it’s in the middle of Times Square!

Just parked here this morning (haven’t picked up the car yet) — but so far so good. Great early bird prices: in by 11 am, out by midnight = ~$ 13 ($ 10.48 + tax).
I couldn’t find my cell phone*, and called them to see if I left it in the car or dropped it in the lot. The guy was initially a tad reluctant** to help me search for it, but when I pressed, he did go look (even though the car was already put away) and confirmed that my cell phone was in the passenger seat of the car.
Thank goodness!

** Not trying to sound ungrateful (I had to ask twice because he said he couldn’t look for it at first because the car was already parked in a raised spot), I totally appreciated that he helped me look.
***DISCLAIMER: it should be noted that we are driving a rental car, so I’m not as aware of what scratches and dents were on the car to begin with, and may not be able to identify any additional ones. However, if the car was somehow totaled, I will definitely edit/​update this review to reflect that.
