Optimum Performance Chiropractic

About 4 years ago I hurt my lower back. From time to time it acts up and bothers me. Going to Dr. Chiappetta at optimum performance chiropractic was the best decision I made. Within the first visit I was feeling relief and he was able to identify the pain points in my lower back. I was lucky enough to get it addressed and adjusted before the pain traveled to my leg. It’s really amazing how quickly everything went!

Dr. Tran is great. Anytime my back/​shoulder pain returns he makes himself available to treat me, and explains his process as well as what I can do to help my condition.

Dr. Tran is a highly skilled body worker who is versatile in a variety of treatment modalities that transcend «chiropractic». I found him a number of years ago when I was looking for someone in NYC who did Graston (a soft tissue repair of damaged muscle fibers). I was pleasantly surprised during my first session that when I asked him to do Graston on my back, he actually gave me what I wanted. He always listens to your requests, modifies them as he sees fit, and explains as much or as little as you want. He is so respectful and modest about his far-​ranging skills. Whenever my body gets into trouble and it does a lot (I have hypermobility of the joints) I can count on him to patch me together — and assign some follow-​up home exercise for prevention. I love how he applies kinesiotape before I leave so I can keep proper alignment. He is a real healer who cares about his patients.

Vinh is one of the best chiropractors I’ve ever been treated by. As a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, I’ve worked with many chiropractors and have had countless adjustments, and Vinh’s skills put him at the top of my list.
I went to see Vinh for chronic back and hip pain from sitting and also wear and tear from running.
Vinh had excellent hands and the palpatory diagnosis and adjustment was efficient and thorough. He even showed me some core strengthening exercises I could use to prevent my post-​run back pain. I’ve been doing the exercises and feel much better.

I sprained both my wrists back in the fall, right before leaving for a two-​month outdoors trip. I had gone to a (quite expensive) regular doctor who only prescribed anti-​inflammatory meds and gave the unhelpful advice of not using my hands at all for the next few months. It got so bad the week before my trip that my roommate was taking my shoes off for me.
Luckily, just five days before I was set to leave, a friend recommend Dr. Tran! After just three back-​to-​back sessions with him, not only did I regain enough mobility to start my trip, but the good doctor also prepped me with instructions for icing and heating, scar tissue massage, and wrist strengthening exercises that helped me heal throughout my time out there — so much so that I was able to get some climbing in at the end of the trip. Incredible. I can’t recommend him enough.
Some other great things about Dr. Tran:
— He encouraged me to call him if I had questions during my trip, which I did.
— The four times I’ve seen him, it’s been very easy to set up an appointment and there has been no wait time.
— He accepts most insurance, but I didn’t have any when I saw him and I found his pricing super reasonable.
— He and his staff are all so nice.

Doctor Tran is just amazing. I messed up my finger from a freak accident and havent been able to close it for a year. Finally went to go see someone about it and was so glad that someone was Doctor Tran. He has helped my finger heal and it hasn’t hurt since. And if that wasn’t enough, Dr. Tran is just a shining personality. Would recommend him to anyone.

I’ve been having back issues and Dr. Tran provided me with great care/​expertise. I’ve been visitng Optimum Performance Chiropractic for almost a year and I can’t thank Dr. Tran enough! I love the fact that my visits are very relaxing and I’ve never felt rushed at all. All the excercises he’s taught me has been working out well to maintain my health. Thanks alot Dr. Tran!

Went for the first time and was provided expert care. The nice thing about this place was that I was given my prognosis in a way that even a layman could understand. My back has never felt better and I would definitely go back again. Thanks Dr Vinh!
