History

Established in 2005.

VOLK tradition began when Leonard Volk opened a shoe store in 1890 in Dallas, Texas.

Founded upon the same principles forged by her predecessors of the fashion industry, Alison Volk, owner of VOLK His and Hers boutique, combines styles from modern and classic fashion designers with specialty amenities and exceptional customer service. VOLK caters to the individual needs and personal styles of its male and female clientele.

Located just one block from the ocean at 3612 Highland Avenue in Manhattan Beach, California, VOLK refines fashion through Alison’s natural ability to blend fashion, class, and customer service. Re-​establishing the true art and class of retail, VOLK aims to truly inspire elegance, panache, and fashion sense.

Business Owner

Alison Volk’s passion has always been fashion.

Hailing from a strong retail lineage, Alison utilizes the key aspects for what the Volk Bros. Co. was renowned for: customer service and exceptional fashions.

Throughout her studies in fashion merchandising, internships at Neiman Marcus, and years of international travel, Alison has been able to fine-​tune an already instinctive understanding of retail, fashion, and the importance of customer service. Working in various positions in the film industry (Sony Pictures and MGM)

Combining the tenets of old-​school class, etiquette, and customer service with her own knowledge of international fashion, domestic film, and local designers, Alison aspires to create a true style house for her clientele. With her fashion prowess, she has styled personal clients, such as Chelsea Handler, Rossi Morreale, Danielle Demski, Lindsay Clubine, Nicole Sione, among many others.
