Specialties
Authentic Mexican cuisine, award-winning margaritas, world-class service and nightly entertainment.
History
Established in 1977.
Pancho’s is more than a Manhattan Beach gem. It is a Mexican restaurant as authentic as any you’ll find south of the border. Legendary among the locals for its authentic Mexican cuisine and #1 rated margaritas. The menu has been designed with decades of experience and features a selection of delicious dishes. The experienced crew (most of the servers having worked in-house for over twenty years) provides an ideal dinning experience. Panchos has built a reputation for its unique ambiance. The massive front doors, over twelve feet tall, once belonged to a spanish castle. Several antique stained glass windows adorn the entryway, cantina and dining areas. The lush ambiance of plants and trees along with the skylights throughout the restaurant lend an atmosphere of the outdoors. The bar is made of solid mahogany and came from an old american saloon 100 years ago. Pancho’s has been the «hot spot» of the North End since 1977.
Meet the Business Owner
Abbott L.
Business Owner
Abbott has always been a fan of sports from his days as a football player at Princeton, to his sales position with KTLA, then on to his business ownership of Sports Sales Specialists, holding the exclusive rights to the L.A. Kings and Lakers for a period of time. He extended his passion for sports into several sports bars in the area before becoming a restaurateur. In 1977 Abbott built Pancho’s, a Mexican restaurant located in North Manhattan Beach on the corner of Rosecrans and Highland. With it’s expansive, authentic Mexican menu and delicious hand-made margaritas, it is no wonder that Pancho’s is consistently voted the best Mexican restaurant and best Margarita in the South Bay (a large area of beach cities including Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo Beaches). Pancho’s continues to be a favorite of South Bay residents, including famous athletes and Hollywood celebrities alike.
